  1. LCU? By that do you mean WB's "LEGO Cinematic Universe" or the LEGO City Undercover videogame?
  2. Now, personally, I don't at all mind more archetypical costumed CMFs that could be more easily seen as trick-or-treaters, such as the Series 14 Skeleton Suit Guy or the Series 16 Imp. In fact, I'd more openly welcome further additions to that trend if they'd replace the more "typical" costumed archetypes. For instance, @Robert8 has a few good ideas for trick-or-treaters I'd much rather see more often!
  3. So, what are your thoughts and feelings about these guys' prevalence in more recent Collectable Minifigure Series as of late?
  4. Sweet! I'd figured you'd feel that way; and yeah, where else would it be reused beyond its purpose as a throwaway gag?
  5. That turquoise one would be amazing to see "fleshed out" if the bricks were available.
  6. Heh, a most clever inversion!
  7. Dude! A LEGO Ideas Advent Calendar (almost)! All of the microscaled representations look fantastic, with Voltron bring a most worthy highlight!
  8. Specifically, I'd wish to see Jaegers come to the Creator theme someday. Ya know, serious mecha...
  9. It better be Series 19... But can you really be certain of that so early on?
  10. Huh? By surprising, do you rather mean exciting?
  11. Um, as in it's not Disney Series 2? Will it be Series 19 after all?!
  12. Collectively, I find this to be a rather strange series the more I look at it, as its variety seems rather limited compared to previous CMSs. If anything, many of its individual offerings seem to fall into only a few distinct subgroups, those being the Apocalypseburg subgroup (6 figures), the Wizard of Oz subgroup (4 figures), the "costumed" subgroup (3 Figures), and "Wyldstyle and the Holograms" subgroup (4 figures) with a few extra outliers. But hey, putting that aside, I do see some potential Series 19 part reusage/recolors for some of the new headgear/accessory pieces introduced in this CMS. Particularly, upon seeing clearer pics, I see that Abe is indeed donning a new hat/hair mold that this time comes with molded googles. Why they just couldn't print them onto the preexisting mold from earlier, I don't know, but I smell a Steampunk Cosplayer CMF in the near future! Also, Rex's new hat/hair mold would work great recolored for an Adventurer CMF archetype of some kind; plus, Lord Business's new golf club just has to be used for a proper Golfer CMF here soon! NO, especially after having Series 18 dump a boatload upon us this year giving us nothing else. Can't they give such pointless filler at least a little break? Agreed. Hey, could you try her helmet on a minifigure and tell us how it worked out? Thanks! Yeah, I'm somewhat afraid I feel the same way...
  13. Whoa. I wasn't expecting to see them pop up there... Ah well, hey, I do kinda dig Rex's new hat/hair headgear! Plus, are Lincoln's googles printed onto his stovepipe hat?
  14. Entertainment Weekly - A whole new world: First look at Guy Ritchie's live-action remake of Disney's magical classic Aladdin
  15. Having said all I did about the abundance of robots from this theme, I do admittedly wish we could see more mecha-esque robots from the Creator Three-In-One line like the Titan XP you mentioned.
  16. The usage of the Fright Knights' crest over the Black Falcons' one is admittedly much more appropriate for this archetype!
  17. Sure, it's a small step; but, a Starfighter is much more of a giant leap for Science Fiction into the Creator theme, if you will.
  18. Well, I guess I was more thinking of a subtheme centered around law enforcement of nautical trade and commerce in particular, if you know what I mean. I typically think of those subthemes you mention as being based upon scientific concepts within near reach, thereby justifying their inclusion within the City theme, and a Lunar Expedition subtheme is no exception.
  19. Oooooh, it's Dave Slater's Keaton-Mobile!
  20. You know, just as 2016's Disney Castle represented the Disney brand as a whole, I think a D2C Dwarves' Cottage from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves could pay homage to Disney's animated legacy being cinema history's first ever feature-length animated feature. Hmmm, any further details given beyond that?
  21. True, but a UCS Keaton-Mobile in particular would be fantastic! Honestly though, what I think we really need is an original UCS Batwing set that would serve as a successor to the original UCS Batmobile from 2006.
