  1. Not to mention, Steam Locomotives are totally an option for the Creator theme, whereas for City, they're not.
  2. Take a page from @danth and @LegoModularFan and start a "Favorite/Inspirational Nexo Knights MOCs" topic that all EB members can contribute to!
  3. Well, someone else in particular did see that connection and put two and two together...
  4. Well, unlike 10183, a Three-In-One Creator set would not only include instructions for all three models (as is the case for all Three-In-One Creator sets), but it definitely could be priced below US $99.99 depending upon the type of locomotive the set's main build would be depicting.
  5. ...and image leaks before that video review have been online for awhile, hence the lack of discussion here.
  6. Perhaps that second subtheme will be the return of the Submersible subtheme, four years after the fact?
  7. At least Classic Space Evolved; but yeah, I'm pretty lax myself as far as such criteria when it come to Classic Space creations. Now, as for Retrofuturism, don't even get me started...
  8. Most certainly! Besides better building techniques, I personally would wish to also see such a set be priced a bit cheaper than its 2007 forebearer, thereby being much more accessible to a wider audience through conventional retail stores beyond brand stores and/or online.
  9. While variety is always nice, I've never been fond of the idea of a Captain America minifigure with a helmet mold, and this latest leak just reinforces that notion for me.
  10. Huh, do you perhaps figure that CMF Rex Dangervest's new hat/hair combo might suffice?
  11. HECK YEAH, NEXO SPACE!!! I must say, I really dig this first entry of yours into this endeavor, though it makes lament the lack of fan creations we've seen so far since the theme was launched. Heck, it's even hard to come by builds that make predominate usage of all the cool parts it introduced, something I figured more people would at least be rushing to get their hands on to add to their building repository.
  12. P.S. Here's the official name and part number for at least the left counterpart of that new slope brick pair thanks to Brickset! Brickset - Part Design 42862: Left Roof Tile 3X3, Deg. 45/18/45
  13. By the way, here's the official part number for the new "old style" helmet mold: Brickset - Part No. 50665
  14. I should mention, while we're on the subject of train sets with alternate builds, has anyone here forgotten about this set? Brickipedia - 10183 Hobby Trains
  15. Well, despite the lackluster number of contenders for this review, I do think all of them each stand a pretty good chance! If I were to guess though which one had the best chance amongst the five, I'd have to say it'd be SleepyCow's Piano, as seems to be the most novel. There may be a slight chance though of another project from the prior review carrying on over for further consideration.
  16. Here are a few reinterpretations of the good ol' LL928 that easily fall into the context of Neo-Classic Space: Neo Galaxy Explorer by Alec Hole LL929 Galaxy Explorer by @ZCerberus Galaxy Explorer 2.0 by LegoSpaceGuy
  17. Out of all the more recent System-based "big bang" themes we've seen so far, Nexo Knights is definitely my favorite; but, I somewhat think that it wouldn't have received as much backlash as it did if it were rather an all-out Space theme instead, as it would've been thought more of as another Space theme rather than a bastardization of Castle.
  18. Here's a better look at that Ninjago City collaborative build from Seattle's BrickCon 2018, thanks to Beyond the Brick:
  19. For me, the possibilities that Bright Blue 1x3 plate with Chevrolet printed onto its side bring intrigue me the most.
  20. Plus, he also built it a smaller, one-man counterpart: Flickr - LL221
  21. Hey, as always @Ashnflash! As for @Duncan Young's suspicions ( ), I'm just overly enthusiastic about AFOL CMF designs and artwork ever since @Robert8 started up with his own concepts for future Collectable Minifigures.
  22. Outside of reinventions of the original sets, here are a handful of some of my favorite Neo-Classic Space MOCs: LL222 by Jon Blackford LL-414 Deep Space Perimeter Patrol Ship by nnenn LL-998 Sapphire Condor by Ed Diment
  23. What surprised me, were some of the plates in these sets with printing on their sides.
