  1. By the way, are you also aware of this other LEGO Ideas project? ...it's Peter Reid's of Exo-Suit fame! Would you be able to embed your Google Drive links as pictures instead?
  2. So, does that mean Lucy was the hitmaker for Everything Is Awesome, hence her framed platinum record? Wait, the cat's name really is Scarfield?!
  3. If so, it better be of an architectural quality equivalent to that of Creator Expert's modular buildings, not some partial playset build like the 60's Batcave D2C.
  4. As with so much, AFOLs can either neglect them, or can find more quirkier ways of incorporating them into creations that are, well, quirky. They're like like the overabundant "costumed" CMFs we see often nowadays, an amusing, quickly-expirable throwaway joke that loses steam real quickly. Point being, they're just not the gift that keeps on giving, unlike most construction and/or minifigure parts that builders continue to find new usages for decades after the fact.
  5. For me, prefabricated heads are like POOPs (Parts Out Of Other Parts), as they're much more limited in their reusability compared to the assembly of the composed parts that singular piece represents. Like bricks, minifigures and their components should be thought of as construction toys, not as static toys.
  6. PromoBricks - LEGO Movie 2 Minifigures Series (71023): All 20 Collectibles in Detail
  7. It's from the CMF I'm pretty sure. Hmmmm, that's seemingly yet another confirmation of a rumor regarding his character's role. Unless...
  8. Hmmph, then they might as well not be minifigures. Ah, alright! Exactly!
  9. Plus, @leafan mentioned that "spaceport" seen there shows up in the background of the box art for Benny's Space Squad set!
  10. Well, @zephyr1934 is a LUG Ambassador...
  11. Oh my... ...how come none of us have noticed that before?!!!
  12. You know, I think you've got something there, as that possibility seems most apparent on the spacecraft in the left-hand foreground! The older windshield you mentioned (32068) is beveled, three bricks in height, and has four studs topping it off; so, looking at that left-hand Classic Spacecraft in the foreground, I do think that windshield could very well be what we're looking at... Excellent observation @Aanchir!
  13. More than just that, I hope it results in the introduction of a new Space theme six years after the fact.
  14. EB member @AllanSmith acknowledges that it is indeed real!
  15. Say, I believe that this may be the first time we've seen Emmet's hairpiece not only reused outside of its originally intended purpose, but recolored too, as both Fred and Barney don Black and Yellow recolors of it!
  16. Hey, thanks for the screenshot! Heh, I'd say those ships are straight-up Classic Space rather than Neo-Classic Space! Same can be said for the builds within Benny's Space Squad and Garage sets.
  17. Most indeed, as it is quite well deserved!!!
  18. Well, I suspect they're saving up the best humor for the movie itself, as I remember not being amused by much of the comedy showcased in teasers/trailers for both The Lego Movie and The Lego Batman Movie.
  19. And they're just not in Blue/Grey/Trans-Yellow! But, the canopies they utilize appear to be part no. 4474, which may suggest they may not be made as upcoming sets. That is, unless they resurrect the mold with updated hinges.
  20. At the 17 second mark of this TV spot, a glimpse of something very much of interest to fans of Classic Space appears. It's just not a mere spaceship...
  21. I wanted to share that here eariler, but I was waiting for a better quality copy of the TV spot that snippet appeared in. Well, as of this morning, someone on YouTube has finally uploaded a much better look:
  22. Ah Ah Ah, Post-Apocalypticism isn't Dieselpunk. THIS is Dieselpunk. P.S. Don't take it too seriously, I'm probably the only weirdo around here who's OCD about Retrofuturism.
  23. I'd be interested to see how Lego would translate this MV-261 Orca spoken of by others here into bricks, as its gold-visored cockpit canopy may translate into a Transparent Yellow canopy recolor within the set's interpretation! More MOC fuel for fans of Classic Space! I'm always down for any preexisting property being consolidated under a broader "umbrella" theme, whether it be licensed or in-house. Lego had a good thing going with DC/Marvel SuperHeroes until they deconstructed its branding into individual character/movie focuses.
