  1. Amazing! It is so small, yet realistic! I hope that there will possibly be instructions!
  2. Well, the "heart transplant" was successful, here are the following changes: The front suspension was replaced with the normal RC suspension (temporary?) The RC Unit is now in place and secure More support at the portal hubs Here is the result: As always, advice is encouraged If anyone can help, I want to replace the RC standard steering unit with a beam-built one. Any ideas?
  3. Hi, I am not really sure where to put this (and if an admin sees this please move it to the right topic), but does anyone want to share an interesting part find? (e.g. rare parts in bulk lots) For me, I once found two working Spybotics modules and remotes in a $12 a pound lot. I also found the rare brown dishes from the old Droid Transporter set.
  4. Excellent! The rear suspension is cool! I have to admit, I like a lot of paneling, but this buggy makes it fine! The detail in this MOC is amazing!
  5. The truck is definitely cool! Looks fun to drive! I am looking forward to the Volkswagen because it looks amazing by the picture! I hope it works out well, and it would be cool if it steered and drove with RC power.
  6. Hi! Another update: Reinforced! Here is the photo of the new axle with portal hubs: The chassis proved to not have enough power to drive the RC motors, so I will have to move to my old RC unit. It will be hard, but hopefully it will work. Does anyone know how to change an input for a servo for an input for the built-in RC servo?
  7. Nice car! I like the micro size and the detail in this build! It looks very fast!
  8. Thanks for the tip! I will definitely reinforce the wheels with hubs. The shocks I am using are the crawler shocks. They fit on the axle pins.
  9. In my opinion, this is definitely not a one-day build. It took me 4-5 days with about 4 hours a day, so unless you're planning a long build with a lot of people, it probably won't take just one day. I think that the set is very good and playable! It has a lot of functions and is motorized. I think this would be a great 2-3 day project!
  10. So true! This looked like a lot of fun. I can't find any events like this in the U.S. on the west coast.
  11. Nice! It looks very effective! How come that I am the only one without power puller wheels? I like the new Excavator 1/4 circles, they will be very useful to this competition!
  12. Hi, This is my WIP topic for a new Trophy Truck that I am planning (mainly because I have never used my Unimog tires). Tips are appreciated. Here is the steering system (I modified it from an abandoned chassis attempt) And here is the back of the chassis. It uses 2 RC motors with independent suspension. NOTE: The cross block in between the motors is only attached to one of them. It is used to prevent the motors from bending into each other. I hope that this will work well!
  13. Thanks! @andythenorth My small RC cars are the size of your cabin on the front of your truck!
  14. Very cool! I have not watched the movie yet but it definitely looks very fun!
  15. Excellent! I have one question: Are you going to protect the wheels? Those tires look like a wedge battlebot can get under them easily.
  16. This is definitely interesting! It is cool that this is a combo of a battery box and a receiver, but it would be amazing if the BB and receiver were the size of a PF receiver
  17. Hi, I set this up because I have noticed that most of the builders on here are much better than me. I see many things that I definitely have the parts to do, but I don't have the brains for it. Example: McPherson suspension, locking doors, brakes, etc. Does anyone have any good advice from building experience? Anything is useful.
  18. Nice car! I like how detailed it is so far. Is it finished? Most of the posts on this thread are from 2015, and at the time of this post it is 2017.
  19. Amazing! The vehicle is very detailed and SUPER shiny! The figures are also a very nice touch to the model. I like it! Are any pieces chromed by 3rd party sources?
  20. Thanks yet again! Haha! I didn't see the options! Thanks!
  21. Thanks for the advice! I like to build as small as possible, but I always have trouble with the amount of space that I have left. I think that I have a working prototype of a rally car chassis, may be posting the full rally car soon !
  22. Nice truck! Looks like it can climb over anything! About locking diffs - the type 2 differential can be locked with a simple driving ring.
  23. Great! Nice idea! Does it do damage to piles of pieces?
  24. Hi, I was wondering (since I took a break off MOCing with my new 42053) if I should build a big or small car next. I am not really sure because it seems that most people like the big ones the best, which I am capable of building, but I do not find it as fun. Otherwise, the small MOCs I make don't seem very popular. Does anyone have ideas on what size or type (off-road, car, truck) of MOC I should make next?
  25. This is amazing! A ton of motors! Was the video sped up a little? The linear actuators seemed to move very fast!
