  1. AWESOME! This truck is so cool! I wish I had one like it! I am just too lazy to order 3rd party tires. It looks incredibly fun and the flags are a nice touch!
  2. @Splat Thanks for the info! I now understand the reason of being of a locking differential! I was unsure because when I turn my MOCs with the diff locked, the turn is slower because of friction. @agrof Haha! True
  3. Amazing MOCs as always! I have build the hatchback and it is a ton of fun! I would build the Pickup if I had the parts. The functionality in each model is astounding!
  4. Wow! This would be very useful in the Battlebots competition! Is it too long?
  5. Hi, I am seeing more and more locking differentials on MOCs, but I do not see how they are useful. Does anyone know why?
  6. Here is the link: I am posting this way too late https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-6383/TechnicRCRacer/trophy-truck-with-sbrick/
  7. a LOT of connections and support. I kept trying to make a chassis with the older differential, but it wasn't sturdy enough. I discovered in some pro MOCs that some chassis are mostly connectors and cross blocks. This may be a bit hard, though. Anyway, I like long beams with frames in between since I don't usually use independent suspension. If it is RC, try to mount the motor sideways, which allows more room for the battery box. Plus, use the motor as a brace. I hope that this was helpful!
  8. I have made a couple cars with 1 receiver and 2 buggy motors and it ran just fine. But, I ran 1 buggy motor with 1 receiver and it WOULDN'T RUN AT ALL. But, an extension wire can connect and one technique that I use is to use 1 extension and 1 9V cable: the 9V connecting the motors and the extension from 1 motor to receiver. It is probably bad, but i didn't know what I was doing back then But, I have a RC battery box/receiver and find it too bulky to use often. I like the smaller cars and the PF system is great for that. I am still fond of L motors, though.
  9. Hi, I have been trying and failing to make a small pneumatic car wth two cylinders that when air is pumped into an air tank, and a valve is released, the car will roll along a flat surface. Any ideas? Parts that I have: 2 (or 4) of the not-V2 style large cylinders 1 x Airtank 5 valves and 2 old style valves NOTE: I bought some small pumps, but they were all faulty.
  10. Whaaa? This car is absolutely AMAZING. The 8880 resemblance is cool (I have it) and i can see the tiny bits of Porsche in it. It is far better than anything that I can conceive of and is the best MOC I have found! Good Job! -TehcnicRCRacer
  11. Hi, I don't know if this was mentioned previously, are V2 receivers permitted? (or new V1 from tracked racer) -TechnicRCRacer
  12. Finished raising the bumper! Looks way more realistic. I looked up more images and rebuilt the front.
  13. It's HUGE! This is so incredibly amazing! It also moves faster than the bucket wheel excavator set. How many motors did it take! It would be a pain creating a parts list
  14. I am sorry, but this is not the issue. The upload image button takes me to the top of the same exact page and I get the error message form the URL option. There is a signature option, but there is nowhere for me to type.
  15. I guess it is! I will probably redo it soon.
  16. I finished most of the bodywork and it is looking good! BTW black thing behind the 5x11 panel is the 5x5 panel
  17. Hi, There are several problems I encounter using Safari and Chrome: I get this error message when I try to upload a profile image by URL and upload image button is broken The file must be smaller than 0.09765625MB. There is no text box for the Signature option. Also, I am experiencing severe lag on this website. Can someone help? -TechnicRCRacer P.S. I am using a Mac.
  18. Thank you! This is a great help. The only problem is that I only have 1 set of 5x5 panels in black. It should work! I am also using the technic mudguard piece (61070) as the back fender of the front wheels. I am having problems with images currently. Thank you! Also, there is no signature setting in my account settings.
  19. Hi, Does anyone have any good tips on creating bodywork on MOCs? I got a lot of them from a friend + I have a lot to begin with. Any panel can be used in a suggestion (I probably have it). I am trying to add (detachable) bodywork to my Trophy Truck -TechnicRCRacer p.s. anyone know why this website takes forever to load? (in U.S.)
  20. You could try using the T-shaped piece and add a 1x5 beam and an extra 1x3 beam in the shape of a bracket. The engine blocks should hold it in place.
  21. The car looks good! Any other problems? Battery box placement? With my buggy motor, I usually have problems with the overheating safety circuit.
  22. Fixed! Finished a new steering system with you guys' advice and it works like a charm! Thanks! Here would be a picture of the half-finished Trophy Truck (uses Sbrick +) The image was having problems uploading
  23. Thanks again! I think I will try to make a new setup with the advice you have given me. I am amazed that the community here is so nice!
  24. Thanks for all the help! But I know that it is not toeing in or out, and the wheels are not hitting the chassis. I can take more pictures later. I did notice that when I turn to the left, the wheel on the right turns farther than the left wheel, and the opposite happens when I turn right. When I move the gear rack back, the wheels toe out. Also, small question: How do you get the footnotes under your post?
