  1. Th only tires that work with my model so far are the Williams F1s. Will those be allowed?
  2. Oh, and also: a used Supersonic RC for $50 (some parts missing - RC works well) a used Williams F1 for $50 (more parts missing, replacing)
  3. About the maximum 2 drive motors: I think that it depends on the motor used.
  4. Ok, I may need some help. I am looking for a two speed gearbox that has the ratios 1:1 and 3:1.
  5. @Myers Lego Technic I modified the suspension since, as when I pressed it down it didn't come back up. @Aventador2004 I modified it, and I only have one joint problem: There is a number one angle joint located on top but a little to the left of the point where the 9l link and the towball meet. EDIT: I fixed it! New picture: (sorry, didn't notice that I didn't finish part of the suspension, other side is done)
  6. I would think so, but wouldn't it slip?
  7. Ok, this is sounding hard. I would like to build the L chassis, but I am not sure because of the discussion going on here.I guess the chassis can be up to the participant. I am getting inspiration from my Williams F1, but I can't use 4L U-joints. Darn!
  8. Well, I do think I have 4 M motors, but that would be hard to use.
  9. @Aventador2004 I have 4 L motors.
  10. Wow, this sounds fun! I wish I could do the chassis but I am not the best builder. Maybe I will start on the L-one now. I will not use a gearbox at the moment. Maybe 1:8 scale?
  11. This looks fun, but I do not have 2 XL motors. I do have 3 L motors, but they would be hard to fit into the model. Are you allowed to use the old panels or are those pre-2005? I would do this but I have no track (yet) and I don't have anything to measure the speed.
  12. Want. it. Now. I need to get a BuWizz sometime.
  13. I got two of those long bent liftarms in trans-clear for $1.50. I also got four of those black short panels from the Porsche for $4. I also got some panels in exclusive colors from the Display Team Jet, not yet released in the U.S. Not really a steal, but still good!
  14. This thing is epic so far! Redoing the bodywork again? This is much better than I could build as I can't manage to stay on a large project for very long!
  15. I will post a video of tonight's oval race soon! It was epic!
  16. What about one of those 80-90s pop up headlight cars that is AWD? I have seen some several times, but I am not much of a car nerd and don't know the models.
  17. SWEET! I can't wait until this is done! How are you going to add headlights and taillights? That is the part that I am worst at
  18. The fastest car at my place goes 18 MPH. Have in mind that these are 1/28 scale. They go at least 250-300 scale MPH.
  19. @mocbuild101 By not too expensive I mean starting around $150 and adding $30-40 upgrades as you get better. It is definitely a lot of fun! In fact, tonight we are having an oval race event where everyone gets 3-second lap times and there are epic crashes! 20. Hi! I race 1/28 Mini-z cars at my local hobby shop. They are great fun! The best part is that they are not that expensive. I really want a 1/10 scale buggy, but there is nowhere to race.
  21. I like it! Can't wait to see future progress! I like the sloping back!
