  1. I've completed my dark blueish grey version of the APC too. I just need to take some pictures of it. It looks great when those two versions stand next to eachother on my desk. Yes I've seen on his flickr page that Larry has made improvement on his APC and I've read some of the conversations you two had in the picture threads. It's so great knowing creative Aliens and Lego Fans like you. But I love Larrys old version so much, I'm not sure if I'm interested in changes. But I don't have a dropship, so I understand that your situation is different than mine.
  2. I love this project. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to identify all those needed bricks and connections from the reference of a few screen captures - amazing! Is that some light blueish grey I see? I thougt Batman "only works in black and some very, very dark grey!"
  3. It's great to see a new diorama made by you, Missing Brick. I like it. You've captured the scene well and your ideas for the light effects are great. Bishop is waiting for the dropship. So do I.
  4. In my area some stores put the galaxy squad sets on sale. Most of the sets are 50-70% cheaper right now. It seems Galaxy Squad has not been very successfull. I've never seen such drastic sales in those stores. I wonder what the problem with those lines is? I thought GS was a brilliant space line. The astronauts, the ships and vehicles, the aliens - all great designs and the line was so much fun. Alien Conquest has been great too, so I don't understand why none of those lines were sucessfull. If I would be a lego designer I would have no idea what to try next. It seems every space theme has a hard time competing with star wars. So I would be happy to see a new space line at all, doesn't matter if it's a Classic Space reboot or something fresh.
  5. I'm a big fan of exoforce. I think your MOCs are very good. I especially like the ones in sand green and olive green. Those colors are so nice, it's sad they are so rare. I'd love to see them build with real bricks.
  6. It's been a while since I've uploaded pics of my Neo Blacktron MOCs. I've build lots of new MOCs but haven't made pictures or updated the thread for a long time. I was looking for new inspiration at the internet when I found an amazing Tank Desgin made by Miniature Scenery. I felt in love with the design of this wheeled tank and instantly had to build a MOC inspired by it for my Neo Blacktron Army. I hope you like it. C & C welcome.
  7. I think I can make you an offer. Just write me an email to RomeVox@web.de and I will reply to you.
  8. Sorry, they are completely sold out. But I've prepared enough armors and helmets for a next wave of figures. If there is a demand for them, I can use them for generic marines too. How many do you need/want?
  9. I think I'll buy Scratchy and that's it. I'm not interested in the Simpsons. Looking forward to Collectible Minifigures Series 12. :-)
  10. @blackbearo99: Hi! Of course I can ship to canada. Shipping costs are 7,10 Euro. Thats 9,80 in US$. That's with insurance. Without insurance about the half of that. Update of the list: Right now I got available: Hicks x 1 Hudson x 1 Apone x 1 Dietrich x 1 Frost x 1 Wierzbowski x 1 Crowe x 1 Smartgunners: Vasquez x 2 Drake x 2
  11. No problem, Farmer Harv. Right now I got available: Hicks x 2 Hudson x 2 Apone x 2 Dietrich x 2 Frost x 2 Wierzbowski x 2 Crowe x 2 If you don't want to wait for the PM function you can always write me an email to RomeVox@web.de.
  12. My newest wave of custom minifigures and my black APC are ready. C & C welcome. APC Design by Larry Lars. Thanks very much to eurobricks member Missing Brick for his help. Minifigures Design by me.
  13. New custom minifigures are ready!
  14. Quick update about the figures: Right now, almost everything is sold out. All I got left is 1 Drake. I'm in the process of making new ones. I'll update soon, when I got pictures of them.
  15. My favorite figures in the CMF line were always the space figures, some knights and the classic movie monsters. So I'm not a big fan of this movie CMF series. Maybe I'll buy a Abe Lincoln and a western wildstyle and that's it for me. I'm a a big fan of sci-fi and fantasy figures and this series is much to city(ish) for me. Thanks for the great review, WhiteFang. But I'm not exited about this series and I hope the classic CMF line will return.
  16. ...so we share the same level of photoshop skills.
  17. That would be a shame indeed, because I like this ship much more than all the movie sets I've seen so far.
  18. Wow, that was fast, Missing Brick. I wasn't expecting the first pictures so soon. And you already have lights in it. I love it. Easily the best Dropship I've seen so far and I like your photoshop work too. Keep up the good work.
  19. Exactly! ^^ My focus is on Sci-Fi, Action and Fantasy Lines. The Lego Movie stuff is "much to city" for me.
  20. I get the message that those sets and the movie are all about fun and creativity. I think thats a damn good message for todays kids. But that is not my kind of sets. I prefer lines like Chima or Ninjago over those weird looking sets. I loved the first introduced set with the bike and the police car, but I'm not a big fan of the rest. It's the same with the minifigures. I'll buy 3-4 minifigures and maybe one set and that's it.
  21. It's so hard to jugde if these are good choices or not without having seen the movie. Right now I only like Abe Lincoln and Western Wildstyle. Maybe the rest will grow on me after I've seen the movie.
  22. @Missing Brick: Thanks very much! :-) You will get those characters. It's just a matter of time. @King Pixels: Only Ripleys hair comes of, because it's a casted version of the CMF granny hair. The other characters have hair sculpted with greenstuff directly onto the minifigure head. It isn't removable from the head.
  23. Two new figures and some Flamethrowers and Motion Trackers are complete: Hudson without helmet (second half of the movie): Gorman: Some Motion Trackers and Flame Throwers: And just for fun two more group shots:
  24. I wish they would continue the CMF line as it is. There are many collectors of this line and it had a good mix of all kinds of figures for all ages. I'm not so sure if I will buy the movie figures (series 12) because I don't like those movie faceprints that much. My interest in Series 13 (simpsons) is zero, because I don't like the show that much. I would love to get some more space, castle and classic monster figures, so I can only hope CMF will come back to its normal assortments after series 13.
