Update: Souricette took the last 3 marines. All colonial marines are sold out right now. If anyone else is interested, please feel encouraged to write me in spite of that. My idea is, making a list with reservations. If there is enough interest I'll make a bunch of new ones. Last time it took me about two weeks to build 11, from the first steps of casting the armor and helmet pieces to the finishing touches on the paint job. Also I would need new basic figures. So it will take some time until new figures will be available. Sorry about that, but thats the problem with handmade stuff.

That's funny, I got a Neo-Battrax MOC with the same wheels here on my shelf. I like your MOCs very much. Classic colorscheme, modern design - good job. The only thing I miss are some modern Blacktron figures.

Thanks very much for the feedback, Crownie. I haven't thought about aliens/xenomorphs yet. As long as TLG is not willing to make this guy: http://legozz.tumblr...french-designer (end of the page) I would probably sculpt a few parts like head, tail and tubes from the backside of the upper body, that could be attached to a regular black minifigure body. But a regular minifigure body would not be the perfect choise, of course. Not sure about using fishface.

I've received some PMs from people interested in the marines in the last few weeks. I had to build a second wave of 11 figures, because the spare ones of the first wave were all sold. These 11 are painted and ready to ship. Right now it looks like: - 4 reserved for Big Tuna 1 sold - 7 still available sold out 02/2013 So, if anyone else is interested, just contact me via PM.

More than a year ago, I abondoned this little project. It was very time- and moneyconsuming to build those marines. I had ideas for more weapons and figures, but simply didn't have the money to buy so many basic figures, sculpting materials, making molds and so on. Now, more than a year later it looks different. I've found some great people who support this project and love the colonial marines as much as I do. There will be new parts and new figures in time. I did some photos to show the current status of my marines. Hicks and Hudson: Apone and Frost: Dietrich: Hudson in rage: Group shot: You can see the marines got their personal markings on their armor. Also there are some helmets with soft covers (Hudson, Dietrich, Frost) in a different camo pattern. This helmet is a new part. By the way, sorry Frost isn't black, I didn't have the perfect head for him. I think I will expand this project. Motion Tracker will be next. Than a flamethrower. After that I will see if I can build the smart gunners and Drop ship pilots.

It's Kriegsmarine, Sunder, not Kreigsmarine. Nice MOCs, I esspecially like how you did the submarine. ^^

I like those MOCs, that use only parts of a specific set. Pretty challenging - Good job!

Breaking news from colonial marines headquarters! Seven units are ready to protect kelvgohs home. Xenomorphs have been spottet in his area! Update: ^^

I've been working with greenstuff for many years and I love it. When I first used it, I found it very difficult. It's very sticky when both components are mixed, so you always have to use a wet sculpting tool. But the great things about it are: You don't have to bake it, it becomes a little flexible and very durable and it won't shrink. Great stuff! I've build my colonial marines figures with this. after the paint job:

Oh wow! I'm shocked this thread is still active! I've almost forgotten this one (well, it's from 08/2011). Why haven't you guys just send me a PM? Of course I still take orders. I got 12 colonial marines here, standing on my shelf. And I got molds for the helmet, chest armor and lamp. So I always can build new ones. I live in germany, but I got a paypal account. Just let me know how many marines you would like via PM and I can tell you the costs and find out how much shipping to your countries would be.

Maybe I will buy a single Medusa and that's it. @Aanchir: I agree with you. I love the new helmet, that comes with the paintball player. Also black is the perfect color to use it with some of my neo Blacktron astronauts. But the problem is the green paint on this helmet. That makes it very specific and completely useless for me. Maybe we have to wait years for a plain black version. I find Series 10 very disapointing.

So far there was only one series (series 5) without a single figure I was interested in. This is the 2nd series for me, that is a complete pass. No SciFi-Figure, no classic monster etc. :-(

Well, it has the new robot armor and has the same style as the galaxy squad figures. So I count this guy as a part of galaxy squad too. But I have to say, I don't like the CMF robot very much. There are only so few sculpted details on the helmet and I can't stand this color-scheme. - Blue robot would be my No.1 - I really like the head and the colors. Also the asymetrical design ist just great. - Red one No.2 - because the head is unusual and I like the red squad the most. - Green Robot No. 3 - I don't like the head so much, but it's okay - Orange Robot No. 4 - The head sculpt is okay, but I hate those bright colors. - CMF White/orange version No. 5 - because I really don't like the helmet and the colors. Why they didn't use one of the other headsculpts is beyond me. I hope the evil version of this guy will be in black with bley or red. I think I'll wait for this one.

In a TV spot this would go on like "Now it's up to you! Build a great spaceship for Billy Starbeam and help Galaxy Squad save the universe! Well if this isn't a perfect reason to start a MOC. But I agree with you. The red squad needs more men and more vehicles. Which leads me to... That is soooooo true. It would be nice to build larger squads. Some small sets with a single figure would be very helpful for that. I still hope for the Galaxy Walker, but polybags are almost impossible to find in my area.
