  1. Absolutely excellent. And I agree with you about the color choice; this is a fine compromise as the only 'light aqua' tone that matches is quite new and only comes in a handful of simple pieces.
  2. Not supporting Amazon or their worker abuse thanks.
  3. Riding in the front of the loader with a pig, while holding scissors.. Someone's going to need the Lego hospital soon
  4. Wow that's great. Pity there isn't a more 'domed' windscreen for the front glass (that would been good for the speed champs 512m too)
  5. Haha it's a good thing we didn't have the internet back then.. or someone would have been crying BRING BACK THE WOOD, Lego is selling out with this new fangled plastic junk
  6. There's still some stock around, I really suggest buying one now before the price skyrockets. One of the best Lego sets ever and I'm sure it will cost a fortune in a few years
  7. New site up in Australia.. seems pretty good and they've done a decent restock on animals and things that I wanted.
  8. Very cool. I much prefer the large windows on the side walls, they look a bit 'grander' than the ones on the front. Maybe some frills / fiddly bits along the top of the roofline?
  9. I haven't really seen a 'home made' monorail setup that I like, but I might have a tram that shuttles back and forwards or something.
  10. Taking notes here.. Think I need to accept that I can't have trains -and- a good little city in the space I have. So having a seperate train setup that can be stored away is probably best.
  11. Lmao if you didn't say nobody would have noticed.. your color matching is better than Lego's
  12. So so far there is -New foal -New color of adult horse? Or at least the return of the dark brown one after a long time -Toucan -Kittens -Squirrels -Turtle That's pretty good especially since we got loads of animals this year with Safari
  13. Not going to link it as I'm not sure of the rules for posting paid instructions, but there's an awesome alt build for this set on Rebrickable into a steam train!
  14. The other bad.. really freaking expensive! I know animals eat up a lot of the parts budget but wew this is pricy Love the male lion though
  15. I like it. The slightly random minfigs and coffee cups / modern cans make it feel like the break room for a film set
  16. Nah in Australia at least I've never seen a modern one that blocks the whole road, so that slow / stuck cars can get off the tracks quickly.
  17. ..Because there's a world of difference between making a fun one off with simple printed stickers VS designing instructions, box art, printed parts / quality sticker sheets, complicated licensing agreements etc...
  18. I get where you're coming from but sometimes it's better to stick to one message and keep it clear. Heck a lot of people are confused by the colors of the flag already (Which is completely fine and shows that it's doing a job).
  19. Yeah I've bought animals from them before, the real problem isn't the price but more they vanish from stock for long periods. Honestly B&P is often cheaper than Bricklink for minifigs / animals, and I can get it all in one postage.
  20. Thanks I see them. Didn't notice that the big set comes with a new? Vulture part, cool. Really hoping to get some of the animals from Replacement bricks, those PPP ratios are shocking.
  21. Another good review, thanks dude. Is that green minifig head supposed to be a watermelon? Not very convincing!
  22. It's out of 50, ie 72%
  23. I'm not American and all of the recent US cars have been pretty iconic. Any kid who is into cars is probably going to recognize a Challenger or dragster.
  24. I've been watching this show Great Pottery Throwdown which is set in this beautiful old industrial ceramics factory. The bottle shaped kilns would be a good challenge, could have different classes across the levels, include a vintage truck.. Sounds cool.
