  1. This is really rather good Perhaps the jetty / deck should be a bit more ramshackle though? Lifting / twisted planks to match the slightly wobbly house
  2. Based on any real evidence? The discovery centers in Europe have PAB, doesn't seem impossible here
  3. Not to get off topic, but oh man do I want this. I'd bet this will be a thing, even if the prices aren't as good as US ones.
  4. Big W has 20% off all Lego online ..Pretty slim range, but some good stuff like City vehicles for $16 Use the code LEGO-20
  5. Let us hope that sand blue is in more sets soon. This is rather nice.
  6. I'm going to be a hater and say the dentist's facade doesn't quite work for me. The differences between the floors are small but make it seem disjointed Interiors are great, especially the bank.
  7. Extremely accurate to the reference considering the scale ..but I think I prefer that small but tough looking grey shunter with the hazard stripes!
  8. Some more target specials at more that 20% off http://i.imgur.com/IlnRUHo.png City http://i.imgur.com/o2hLRag.png Star Wars Good value for the police station (like I need another one lol)
  9. Not a bad start! Would look better with a winch to pull cars on board, and some tools attached to the back of the cab when you have more parts.
  10. Am I crazy for thinking the back end would look better as the front? With the slopes and the nicely rollcaged window Anyway this is great as is, big fan.
  11. Hell, most of these could be almost directly converted into really cool City sets. Would probably market better as Wildlife Preserve though.
  12. Absolutely fantastic. Buzz Lightyear's kitchen is my favorite, but these are all good and inspired me to do some more vignettes!
  13. Pretty cool. Ferris wheel is a great way to add movement and height while fitting in nicely To me the right hand harbour and airport don't really work. The absolutely enormous modern planes are just too big to really fit a city layout imo. Maybe have some flying over the layout on clear stands or fishing lines?
  14. Neat, thanks! Myer are absolutely shooting themselves in the foot having all the modulars semi- exclusive and not for sale online For such a big retailer to have such a bad website is terrible. If you find any links for the Pet Shop / Cinema I'd appreciate it
  15. The baseplate is from one of the 1990's Belville sets. Kinda like an old Friends thing with minidolls. Those sets had some nice pastel colors.
  16. Those prices are pretty good on the Bike Shop / Opera House! Just have to use all these Myer gift cards first.
  17. Can anyone tell me if Myer still carries the Grand Emporium / Pet shop? Website had them a few days ago but they're gone :< If any Melbourne stores have em I'd love to know
  18. Bit late but Myer have 10% off toys today if you have a myer one card Makes the modulars very decent. EDIT : Need to show http://myer.taguchimail.com/pages/3347 , valid til Sunday
  19. Hey all, was sent a Toyworld promo code I don't need (www.mytoyworld.com.au) $10 off when you spend $100 - code is T4H7U2 . 99% sure it's one use only
  20. Myer currently have a deal where you get $10 extra value when you buy $100 of gift cards. They last a year, might be a good time to stock up if you think you'll use them at Xmas etc
  21. Hi all, Newbie here, can anyone tell me what Modular Buildings are currently available in Australia / up to date pricing? I've done a search but most of the data seems pretty old (Sorry this isn't a bargain- but this didn't seem worth creating a thread for)
