    That's quite the chassis, your front suspension is definitely one of a kind. It looks good, very aggressive, almost reminds me of the old Lambo SUV's!

    @Rudivdk oh wow, that would make sense for the speed in which you're building. I saw that a few weeks ago, it was actually my inspiration for a remote linkage set up for my next build. It's a similar concept but a much different mechanism and set up so the shifter can sit further away. It's also 6 speed forward gears. Very clever set up though!

    Noo no I never took it as such, I just simply like the idea of a model having a manual option. I think it's a good idea if people intend to build a moc that they have options especially if it's going to be displayed on a shelf! I might actually revisit this down the line and try to build a manual version myself ! Thanks for the Flex axle update, It's hard to Remeber the lengths that I used.

    It's looking awesome! Very well designed with clean lines, I honestly am flabbergasted at how you manage to fit so many functions and gearboxes in your build and especially at this scale. I really like little details too like the engine under the cab and the front end. I'm looking forward to the final product

    I quite like this little utilitarian military truck. I love the features you squeezed in on the tiny scale, the suspension looks great and I love the little mini V8! Awesome job

    That's just the maxed out tilt of the rear wing, it can drop to almost the opposite tilt in the downward position.

    Besides a few red and black panels/pieces you were nearly there. It looks good, other than the slant. I built it with the intentions of the torsion bars to hold it up which they do very well however there's not much you can do about it if you don't like torsion bars, although the thin book for display purposes works to. I like your simple solution for the servo motor, this build was really meant to be RC so the steering wheel was just meant for show and to turn with the servo, not to try and turn the wheels. I've decided that the next cars I do there will be a manual/RC version and not use torsion bar so there isn't this issue !

    First off welcome to eurobricks and secondly thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you were able to build a manual version without too much modification, I'm sure that will be good news for anyone who's interested in not spending money on the power functions. Unfortunately yes the rear suspension with the torsion bar is under stress but I really wanted to see how far you could take torsion bars with a single spring and with all the motors it was quite nessesary. Do you happen to have any pictures of the final product or the placeholder you made for the servo motor? I'm sure people would be interested in seeing the solutions you came up with.

    @Sariel With all due respect, I think that's exactly why it's fair. If the chassis' weight was changed between tests, how would the results be reliable? If the chassis was the same and only difference being the battery/reciever without everything being in at the same time you would then see what benifits a lighter power source would make? Maybe that's just me. I like the concept and it's cool to see how they all work under the same conditions. It's just not demonstrating the power to weight benifits of the lighter batteries.

    Also it's not a very fair test as all battery's are moving the same wight, but one of the biggest benifits of the lipo and Buwizz are their light weight. One of the reasons I love the buwizz are the weight savings.

    Yes, the gauges are from the Porsche set, I planned on making my own but never got around to it so I just left the Porsche gauges in place. They are all correct, other that the 7L as I only have 19L and 12L flex axles. So the 7 is actually a 12.

    It would be doable, however you would have to make motor place holders as I did build off of the servo and xl motors. Also I'm sure you could make some sort of linkage or knob for the shifter. I'll be honest I never built this in thoughts people would want to building this especially after Jeroens Db1, so it's a very intricate build. Also @Kalps1811 has replaced the buwizz with a lipo and s brick, and another fellow has done the regular AA battery box and two recievers just for cheaper PF options.
