[MOC] Odense Banegård & modular platforms
Man with a hat replied to dtomsen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Oof. Impressive. -
Nice! Love all the details. I really like that you took the effort to attach the protective fence for the cables on the bridge. I haven't seen that one before. And overall a great look!
-
That's clever. And interesting that the small wheels don't add too much friction. That's not what I expected. But maybe because of the combination it works and the wheels may slip?

Great. Nice to see it double tracked now. And nice way of covering the height difference in an efficient way.

Oh, nice. That's a great improvement. It is looking fantastic now. A minor point I was thinking about: The entrance now looks a bit small. Perhaps two books? But maybe it doesn't work.

Nice train! Ans an interesting bridge indeed.

Another impressive beast. And it is really the curvature in the roof that makes this so excellent.

Oh wow, that cab is amazing. And the rest looks perfect as well. And also that scenery is really nice.

Oh. Nice. Somebody is having fun!

McEwan Pratt 10hp 0-4-0 tractor WDLR [MOC]
Man with a hat replied to greg3's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Another nice one. That coupler is indeed nice. Binoculars were my first thought as well, but this also looks nice. -
Oh WOW! What an amazing and mind blowing interior. Even including detailed ceilings. Very impressive.
-
Nice work. The angled windows work really well here. And considering the proportions: That is always tricky with "scale" modelling. Maybe you could make it a bit longer, but then again, you can also spend the time on making your next MOC. I have a train which is too long compared to its width… There will always be room for improvement.
-
Nice. Hopefully we can see it build, if not this year then maybe next? It is great mod, but the first thing I was attracted to was that crane. That is really nice and classic crane there!
-
Great work. I always enjoy your obscure trains. So nice to see those different workings. An very cleverly designed as well.
-
Nice!. Really great and fitting structure. Clever use of those new wheel arches. And great interior as well. So many nice details. I also like that little shunter.

hmm, a new train, but not what I was hoping for. But then again, I really didn't expect any train to be honest. I guess we are keeping expectations high here. But nonetheless the train is interesting with possibly interesting pieces like that ramp connection. And the colours I also like. So perhaps not a train to put on my tracks but possibly a very good parts package. And BTW that Hidden Side High School might be a good option to convert to a train station.
-
Nice station. Overall it looks good and has all the classic parts a station needs. However I am not sure about the colour combination. Perhaps the red is a bit too red? And I was wondering about the platform level. It seems a big jump to get into a train now.
-
Oh, great idea. I like that video. Now I am only missing the "break through" the wall in the tunnel, my favorite bit.
-
Oh wow. Very impressive. Everything works so smoothly. And not only that, the signal looks great. The crossing works fluently and at a proper speed. And then the signaling guy... Brilliant.
-
Ah, yes, I saw this as well. It is kind of LEGO Monorail 2.0. So maybe there is hope for the monorail fans after all. But nonetheless quite cleverly done and well executed this example. I think more examples will follow now.

At first I didn't know what to think. It is obviously different and I really think it would also appeal to another public than people already enjoying LEGO. Especially with the blank sheets another possibility of creativity is added. And how it looks also plays a role. It is not overly technique, which could scare of some people, or something completely brick build which may not be appealing/realistic enough for others. And there are plenty of possibilities to expand on this. Butterflies, Birds, Dinosaurs, just to name a few. A pity it is not already widely available.

This is absolutely amazing . Not only the display, but the scene itself as well. I like the coral reef a lot. And that yacht looks really great. Although I think it would look a little better in white with perhaps some colour accents. But then again, I don't understand the tastes of those rich people that can afford those yachts...

[MOC] Totternhoe: Narrow Gauge Railway
Man with a hat replied to scruffulous's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yes, the concept was already brilliant. But it is really great to see it in a layout, which also looks really nice. And quite clever how you did the points/switches. -
That's really nice. Quite good considering the premise. And I like that water tower.
