Speed Champions 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Man with a hat replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Town
Yeah. I like the model and I did get the other Porsche set although I was only interested in this model. But I feel it is almost inevitable to have a similar/same model Porsche. In real life they also look to much like each other. Apart form a few different dents here or there Porsches all look the same to me (Now I hope I haven't offended too many people )- 428 replies

Oh, nice. So many new possibilities. I guess I have to hurry getting my LEGO room finally ready.

[MOC] Buffalo Creek & Gauley 2-8-0 #13
Man with a hat replied to Glenn Holland's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Great train. Overall it is mindblowing. All those details. And in such a consistent way. Nothing is "off". And those gears look amazing. Nice piece of 3D printing (at least that is what I assume it is). -
Nice, simple, but very effective MODs. That doubledecks carriage looks good.
-
Nice creation, even though it is only virtual. And really like the brick built colour scheme.

MOCs: Models of trains running in Hungary
Man with a hat replied to Ashi Valkoinen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The use of those train axles is really clever. It looks great. But what is the magic piece you use to attach to the clips? -
Oh Wow. What a nice loc. So many nice details and so perfect with the shape and colours.
-
Nice wagons, relatively simple yet very effective design. Those doors are really nice with those handles and using tan windows there makes it perfect.
-
That's looking nice. I am not familiar with the prototype so I cannot say a lot about correct details and proportions, however the details are really nice, the roof section e.g. I like.

5-6m train station (simple 8wide platform)
Man with a hat replied to traintraum's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Oof, that's a long platform. But then again, in real life they also are. So about 800 studs long. I guess that's the length comparable to small to medium size stations . But I think that real life ICE's would be able to stop at such platforms anyway. So I guess your ICE is too long...? But then where is the fun in shortening such a nice long train. In any case nice job! -

Nice work. I like GBC's and it is great to see it combined trains. I cannot recall seeing something like this before.
-
Nice work again. And some interesting and well designed details such as the "tooth" plate for the cabin.
-
Awesome. A great creation.

brilliant in simplicity, and fun of course

What an amazing layout. So much to see.

Nice and some interesting use of parts. The rain gutter for example with the baguettes. It makes it all very dynamic

They look good. I prefer the dark red as well. But with the tender configuration of the first or second version. Nice to see the evolution of the design.

Impressive. Those numbers on the sides are brilliant. And overall it looks great. Nice techniques used for the windows e.g. As I said: Impressive.

Nice review. Very insightful and those animated pictures are really great. (I prefer these so much more than having to watch a short movie, even it is only 10 seconds) I like the set. There are some very interesting features. I like the sign above the garage door. It immediately reminded me of set 6363. No idea whether this is coincidental or intentional, or that I am relating everything back to my good old eighties sets . But opinions are always subjective, but it is good to see what others think of it. You may notice something you hadn't seen before.

Quite impressive. Interior details are awesome, that organ is exquisite! And nice very elaborate detailing on the outside. And what a lot of windows. Not completely my liking, but it fits your church really well.
-
Nice. It looks a bit shaky . No problems with the drive mechanism as it is not perfectly horizontally aligned? But really great work. And nice to see!
