  1. I want civilian sets like Medieval Market Village, or the Mill Village Raid. http://brickset.com/sets/10193-1/Medieval-Market-Village http://brickset.com/sets/7189-1/Mill-Village-Raid I dream also of an ultimate castle, a Crusader or Black Falcon fortress, like Lego did with the big Imperial Flagship for the Imperial Guards in the Pirates theme. http://brickset.com/sets/10210-1/Imperial-Flagship
  2. There are computers in modulars designed by Astrid. She didn't take care of the times when the action takes place contrary to Jamie. The Fire Brigade truck, cash registers and old phone in Pet Shop and Grand Emporium, the Prohibition story in the Detective Office, the big manual vault in the Brick Bank are clues which refer to the 1930's.
  3. Agree with you: Architecture theme sounds better ;)
  4. Hotel building already exist with Cafe Corner. So, maybe a re-release, but it does not fit the new modular standards (story, play features, detailed interior). I think the hospital/clinic/doctor office is on the way ;)
  5. Nice capture, but where is the horse and the headless knight? ^^
  6. The Brick Bank will be my Christmas gift ^^ I will have 150€ to spend in a great set : Palace Cinema or Fairground Mixer? Don't know... The Palace Cinema will fit with the other modulars but the Mixer is a great set with lot of play features, minifigures, can be motorized and stored easily!
  7. Thank you for your answers all! The car may be improved easily, i took a look in Google Image ;) I like the front of the cinema, there are nice details, but i would like to know if the sign "Palace" is stable, steady? Some people said it can goes wrong, falling on the right or on the left. Did you noticed this issue on your respective sets?
  8. Hello, I wonder if i will like the Palace Cinema. I start collecting modulars last year with the Parisian Restaurant and the Detective Office. Before Lego retired the Pet Shop, i buy it too. I got the Fire Brigade and the Grand Emporium for a very fair price. But i think my collection will never be completed because of the price of the Café Corner and Green Grocer. So i am not trying to get every set of the modular line. Many builders advise me to build older modulars first in order to not be disappointed. So i began with the Pet Shop, then the Grand Emporium. Next is going to be the Fire Brigade and i will go on with Parisian Restaurant and Detective Office. The Grand Emporium is massive and impressive, but the build is repetitive sometimes. I prefer the Pet Shop and i think i am going to love the Parisian Restaurant! The Town Hall is massive but it is only tall, and the build is not interesting. I love detailed and realistic buildings. I am looking for great building technics and good building experience. The Palace Cinema is quite intriguing: - The car is not well balanced, badly - There is a lot of stickers - The "Palace" sign seems to be hard to keep vertical - The back of the roof is poorly design, seems to be unfinished What do you think about this list?
  9. Lots of new parts related to the hospital theme have been released : wheelchair with fun in the park set, crutches with clumsy guy... Those added to the existing syringes and medics let us hope a hospital/doctor modular (maybe with an ambulance ^^)
  10. CM4Sci: you mean release dates or announcements? Do you know something about the Winter Train? :)
  11. Yes, but licensed sets are not in the creator expert line ;)
  12. I think the Winter Train is the next set to be announced. I just bought the Toy Shop during sales in France. Hope the train will be a fine set to fit with the shop, like a steam machine with a tender and old style wagons, and maybe a brick lighting while running...
  13. Amazing creation! I love the vehicles! The minifigs selection is clever and the sitting man is a nice touch. Can't take my eyes away from the 4th picture: the tram and the car are awesome. Colors, shapes, atmosphere, this moc is perfect!
  14. Great work here! The PF are box, motor and axles are very well integrated :D
  15. Cool creation with nice color scheme! The car is well done. Maybe the window of the caravan is too narrow, but it is nice set ;)
  16. Only Lego has the answer ... If modulars sales are good i think they will continue. Regarding licensed sets, modulars are one of the last classic great buildings. I hope Lego will keep the modulars and creator expert line in their ranges.
  17. You're right Anna: i'm going to wait for the offer to get Fun In The Park, the Fountain Set and the green base plate with extra white fences from Pick A Brick ;)
  18. Wow, what a realistic thing! The rooms and the lowest deck are very nice. Support it here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/139071 Just voted for this project ;)
  19. Well designed with lot of play features: congratulations! A great submarine made for a safe exploration. Captain Nemo is going to be jealous ^^
  20. We have enough toilets in the interiors ^^ I would like to see TV, furniture, bathroom is a good idea! A shower would be nice too. I would like to get a new modular with a car, like Jamie did with the Fire Brigade (the limo in Palace Cinema is not so great), maybe with a garage at the ground floor of a building! Considering the outside architecture, we had american style (DO, PC, FB), french (PR), british (PS, GE, GC). It would be nice to look at north of France/Belgian/Netherlands style like Arras (FR) buildings : http://pleje.free.fr/Arras/Images/Arras1g.jpg I especially like the roofs and the arches ;) But another style would be welcome!
  21. I want an anniversary set for the 10th birthday of the modulars!!!
  22. Nice little set : the helicopter remind me the first i got! Too bad stickers are coming into starter sets :/
