What would you like for the next Castle line?
sebitsena replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Something like the Ewoks Village could be great :) But i would prefer an ultimate castle though ;) -
You can order from the UK Lego Shop, but you can not define an address outside the UK (even manually).

I just watched this : lego 10254 winter train by 9V power functions. It looks like the 9V motor is in the tender. Maybe the best way to keep the original design ;)

Is it possible to motorised the train with a 9V train motor ? It would be cheaper for all 9V train owners than buying the Power Functions stuff ^^

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
sebitsena replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I totally agree with you Rick. Lego broke the "box style" of the first modulars introducing the Pet Shop in two separate buildings (watch Jamie's video of this set), then offered more variation of colors and shapes with Parisian Restaurant and Detective Office. But Assembly Square will break more the "wall of brick" with the alley and the fountain. I hope they will do a 48x32 modulars for 2018 with the same style (lot of offices and shops but without downsizing the set). Right! -

I remember i suggested this list (here or somewhere else) : Museum Hospital Police station Court Post office Tourist Office School Library / Bookstore Theater Opera Fish shop Bakery > Jamie did it in Assembly Square! Garage / Dealer Florist > Jamie did it in Assembly Square! Butchery I think the next modular will mix 2 or 3 shops regarding to the last sets. And these shops should be connected by one feature at least : Police station or Court + Lawyer Office School + Book Store ... -
I have a couple of RES-Q sets. I liked them when i was a child (especially the hovercraft), but now, i think the color scheme is not so nice. What i would like with the Coast Guard theme is a Beach theme. I would like surf, boat repair shop, yacht, marina ... Lego could replace the City Square (60097) with a big set like this and add a Fun At The Beach set with lot of people! It would be a nice addition for the Coast Guard theme and will fit perfectly with the Beach Hut (31035) and the Light House (31051) ;)

Very nice modular set, the largest we got to date. It will fit perfectly with the Parisian Restaurant, the Detective Office and the Brick Bank. I am happy it is a higher build with lot of details on the façades, but i wonder if the building on the left is not too colorful? I love the details inside the buildings: - the design of the photographer's camera and the dentist chair are awesome - the background of the studio is a smart thing - the girl's apartment is a lovely AFOL living place - the other spaces are nicely done too, but to me, the music rooms are less interesting We get a lot of what we were hopping for: Dentist, florist, bakery... and as a photographer, the photography studio is a nice surprise! I am quite disappointed because we will not be able to separate the buildings and there will be an issue with 32x32 roadplates. Three 16x32 was expected for this kind of thing, or a 32x32 baseplate + another 16x32. Maybe Lego wants to prevent people from solding this anniversary set in different parts on the second market. I hope it is not the end of the modular line after this set ;)

You mean only buildings can be switched or floors are also exchangeable? -

Even with less units/possibilities, it would be great to make a building higher than the other, a skycraper, or a line/square of houses, switch floors and roofs... Thanks for the news! -

Did someone ever suggest 2 corner units with a public square between them? -
How can you say that without having title or description? ^^

If the Pet Shop is retired soon, the Assembly Square could be probably a commercial first floor with lofts on the second and third floors and a nice green park. As CM4sci said, maybe part of the park can be placed over the building to make a nice terrasse, appartments be switched or units be stacked to achieve a commercial building and a house side by side! That's what "Ultimate Modular" means to me ;) -

Yes! But we have the Grand Emporium as a mall building. Maybe something else with both little shops and appartments we can mix (like the Pet Shop)? -
Fun at whatever you want, as long as it comes with lot of minifigs and a bus stop in order to let the minifigs take the bendy-bus ;)

Just to say Brick Bank was officially announced at this time last year. Come on Lego, show us the new Assembly Square! -
Sure i have those kind of buses, but i did not succeed in translate this in Google Traduction ^^ In french, we usually say "bus à soufflet" ou "bus articulé". So +1 for the bendy bus too. It will be something new regarding buses and trams we already have!

A modular design means some built elements can be removed or switched. In the last Creator wave, the Lighthouse Point is a modular set (watch Jangbricks review on Youtube). Our modular buildings have specific features for building a street and raised buildings themselves. So even if the Old Fishing Store will not fit into the modulars street, its design can be modular ;) -
The solar theme sounds interesting. I like the idea of Octan becoming a green factory! I suggest a Solar Impulse design for the plane ;) +1 for the Shopping Street. What is a bendy bus?

Did someone ask Lepin about the next modular set? Maybe they have cloned it yet ^^ If the last rumor is true: - i think we will get a two 32x32 baseplates or two 16x32 + one 32x32 or four 16x32. - i think we will get a nice building too because the side of the Brick Bank (where the laundry is) is awful! -

The screen capture says "Ultimate Modular Building" and not "Buildings" so it should be a single building. I think we will not get another Restaurant, Mall or Hotel, but a massive elegant building like a museum, a library, a court, an opera... Square means a little bit of nature so we will get nice brick-built trees. Here is Google Image answer for "Assembly Square" : -
The pizza van looks very good to me! I'm not interested in the other sets. Maybe the truck with catamaran but nothing in the police theme is appealing to me and great véhicules are not so great ^^ I will save money to work on the roads of my city ;) I need lot of 7280 and 7281 !
