Very nice job. I like your MOCs and MODs, especially the Corner Deli one and the way you built little bushes around your park with green cheese slopes. I took a look at your album project and i like : the white house with red roof, outside as inside ; the "Brauerei Brick" house ; the Lego Store you redesigned. I wonder what your car wash will look like... ;)

Thank you for your answer and for your tip about the 8869 switch (i'm not an expert of power functions) ;)

The Mixer was a masterpiece of cleverness as it worked like a real ride to be fold in and out with a lot of stuff around. I would have liked the designers to continue this way too. I saw a carousel yesterday and it make me think the ticket booth is too small compared to the ride and there are only 7 minifigs in the set. I know i'm going to hate the stickers sheet, the build will be repetitive, and it will be as expensive as the Ferris Wheel (200€ in France) ... but i felt the same before buying the Ferris Wheel and now, i l love it! So i'm in the same mood as you Klaus: ambivalent, but i will buy it - trying to find it cheaper though ;) PS: how many rides can we motorize with the same battery box? I tried one box + 2 motors (1 for the Mixer + 1 for the Ferris Wheel) and it worked fine...

You are right. Sometimes i forget Lego's first target are kids ^^ I understand what you mean. I just want to say we pay for the shark and without it, Lego could have design a greater boat with more pieces, ... or with 2 sails! Overall, it's a good set. I will buy it.

That's the way i apply the stickers too. It works fine with square tiles, but it's still hard to center on round tiles. Any tips for those stickers to apply on 2x2 round tiles?

Thanks for the pic ;) The sailboat is nice, but it looks quite empty behind the sail. I count nearly 30 pieces for the sailboat... The sailboat could have a better design without the shark and with less parts for the CG boat. Pros: - A new sailboat - New print for the sail - Not too many stickers Cons: - Low part count for the boat - Useless shark (rocks explain the scene) - The CG boat design

Thank you for the picture! In my opinion, the colour scheme is not the final one. Maybe the sailboat is also missing some parts... I remember it was the case on this year Bus Stop set: the roof was not complete on the prelim pictures ;) So, for people who are doing beach diorama (like i'm planning to) and for less than 30 euros, it could be a nice little set to display with 60143 Fun at the beach, 60149 4x4 with Catamaran, 31051 Lighthouse Point ... :)

I noticed Brickset listed this set here: 60168 Sailboat Rescue I'm wondering if the sailboat that will come in the set will be the same that the video's one? Considering this year's stuff, we'll get: a seaplane a heavy-duty helicopter a 4X4 a QG + a rescue boat + a yacht Looking at what Lego has done before, i think a twin rotor helicopter is missing like in the 60093 Deep Sea Helicopter set or the 60125 Volcano Heavy Lift Helicopter. Plus, the ultimate Jungle Explorer set seems to be a big plane, not a big helicopter. But maybe the 60148 Sailboat Rescue is not a big set, just a boat with a lighthouse or a rescue watchtower...

I think it is included. What about the deco? Stickers or printed tiles?

I hope you're right: i built the Ferris Wheel and the Fairground Mixer which i bought just before its retirement. Those sets are gorgeous! Plus they can be bring to life with power functions. I missed the old caroussel and the rumor of a new one sounds exciting for me, but i will be happy with any new fair theme set ;)
-
Maybe they want you to buy 2 or 3 sets to build a bigger house by yourself ^^
-
I will get the Fun At The Beach set for the minifigures, maybe 2 or 3 boxes to combine people in multiple ways ;) I will also get the Bus Station because i missed every released buses... This one looks cool! The Jungle Explorers sub-theme is a good idea but looks too <insert that tiresome argument> for me and will not fit very well in a classic town. I own older Coast Guards sets, so i will not buy 2017 sets.

True, it will start on Wednesday. Less than 2 days left!

Taking pictures is not allowed at the London Toy Fair, at least Lego does not want, so i think we have to wait until Tuesday with the beginning of the Nuremberg Toy Fait. I remember i saw the Fun at the park set and the Advent calendar for the first time last year at that time ;)
-
OK, we get the Fun at the beach set and the Bus station with newspaper stand this year. So here is my wishlist for City sets: new roads sets, sold single or including two identical plates in a set ; a beautiful sailboat (like this year fishing boat, but with a tall mast, 2 sails and a room to fit a minifig inside) ; TV truck with speaker and cameraman + all their stuff ; ambulance truck (i prefer a Creator Expert modular hospital more than a City one) ; a new city people pack "fun at the fairground" I think these ideas can be cool sets for children to build and play with and look great in an AFOL town layout.

In 2000, sets looked better... The Adventurers were true explorers! Remember this sub-theme ;) You got boats, you got cars, you even got an airship! You got good guys, bad guys and a native. You also got a lot of ruins with tons of features and animals (well, little ones ^^). I will not get those new explorers sets and will take Adventurers out of their boxes this summer!

I guess torsos in this prelim are not the final torsos we will get. I think we will get new torsos TLG will re-use later, so it makes sense we get only two persons wearing trunks. But if i am right, TLG missed the opportunity to release a full beach sub-theme... Totally agree with you! The newsstand would look better if it was designed like the Coffe Chain stand in the 60097 City Square set. I do hope this bus will get a roof! If not, it should be easy to add one ;) It is the best bus i have seen since the 8404 Public Transport Station set! I will purchase it even in 2018 or later, but the sooner the better it will be! :) Wait and see: the toy fairs are coming soon! Edit: but photography is prohibited at the London Toy Fair. So we have to wait the Nuremberg Toy Fair next week for pictures...

Fun at the beach Very good set, but the brick built volley-ball net is not very graceful. Everything else is well done ;) Bus Station Lot of minifigures, 2 bikes, it's cool! But too colorful and it looks like the roof is missing for the bus. I don't know if the final set can be so different than prelim on that point... What do you think about it?

Try with "New set Images Lego 2017" ;) Pictures are also on Imgur ;)

London Toy Fair will start next week, and Nuremberg Toy Fair the week after. Pictures should appear soon ;)

After Fun at the beach, i would like a Paradisa reboot with a new color scheme. I considered it as a theme for girls, but it came with such great sets, especially the 6410 Cabana Beach and the 6411 Sand Dollar Café! Remember: http://brickset.com/sets/theme-Town/subtheme-Paradisa ;)

That's everything i need, but the hammock and the surfplank with sail sound quite identical with this year Creator Beachside Vacation 31063 :/ Does the newsstand fits a minifigure? What is the colour of the bus?

Did not noticed it. Thank you.
