  1. I saw that, too. It looks fantastic!
  2. I may indeed! Don't know why, but this is pretty much the first time I've been in here. I came to post an awesome LEGO Ideas set I saw today: "Lego Castle Greyskull" by efranco37 And I must say, @Digger of Bricks, I appreciate the way in which you consistently post your links with the images together (so I copied it). I really don't like having to go to an external site, so providing the picture is always great.
  3. Well there you go...
  4. I wouldn't be so sure. Don't forget the license (which is owned by money-hungry Disney), which will of course inflate the price. As much as I would love 2 light cycles, I don't want to be too optimistic that it could be a reality.
  5. Yes, but both of those ended... Now I fully expect an announcement that one or both of these is being rebooted. Yes.
  6. I like it. It uses panels and BURPs in ways that aren't excessive or perfunctory, and has a nice overall color scheme. It looks like it could be worth the price when finished.
  7. But it can't buy official Classic Space minifigures in new colors... If I buy all the old stuff, I'll still want new stuff. There's also this.
  8. As long as that doesn't involve shutting up about what we want, sure. If we don't constantly talk about what we want, LEGO will never hear it. This is always great advice.
  9. I don't want to ask what joint that is connected to...
  10. Yeah, that's the spirit! Go for broke!
  11. The Stormtroopers in the Imperial Patrol Battle Pack should have had dual molded legs.
  12. I'm surprised to see the Clown and Police Officer that high (although there's a nostalgia collectible factor for the officer that probably makes it rank higher than it ordinarily would), and the Cake that low.
  13. This could happen earlier in the timeline.
  14. Those pieces are great. I hope I will be able to get them on Bricks & Pieces.
  15. Give him a Classic Space shirt, I'll be happy too. Especially if it is in a new color.
  16. I'm just listing my preferences. Stud shooters are unlikely to be used as much as they are in other themes, so I'm not too worried if we get them or not. And they could be welcome if there are a couple in the theme, they can indeed be fun. Play features are welcome. I wasn't trying to say I was against fun, I hope that the theme is fun for kids, it's just that my preference is for the older standard crossbows over the stud shooting kind. Bright colors are something I've been hoping would not show up, as they have in the last couple of iterations of Castle according to LEGO. Fantasy Era, Kingdoms Era, and Tolkien sets all had muted color schemes that worked really well, and they were some of the best for a Castle theme. Nexo Knights and Knights Kingdom 2 were both highly criticized for their brighter color schemes, as was 2013. Look, any Castle theme that comes back, I'll give it a chance as long as it is actually a Castle theme rather than a sci-fi mashup or some other idea. Medieval fantasy is what I'm looking for in Castle. I have preferences as to what that means to me, but I'm not going to say it won't be good enough if it doesn't meet my preferences. I've never been one of those all or nothing types, as there are many good things that could come out of any Castle theme, including Nexo Knights. I will continue to push forward my preferences, though, even if we get something that falls close to what I look for, because I'm sure there will be other things I'd like to see.
  17. Meh. I was really hoping that the winner would be a Classic Space project. Failing that, at least a project that depicted, oh, I don't know, Moments in Space...
  18. Yes, it looks like the suit is a torso rather than a torso cover like most other suits. The arms appear to connect directly to the brick suit. This may have been done to maintain the full size of a brick with anti-studs.
  19. I'm definitely interested in seeing more about this set.
  20. Exactly. The big Hogwarts at $500 should include all of the major parts of Hogwarts, which would include the Great Hall. Those peg holes are likely for the Whomping Willow set, which has already been confirmed to connect with the Great Hall. You can indeed compare the 2. There was a throne room set, and the throne room itself was part of the D2C Death Star. The same could be true here. My guess is that they will release a selection of sets, some of which can connect together (like the Great Hall and Whomping Willow). Separate from that, there will be a nice, complete Hogwarts D2C set. The thinking is that they made the Great Hall for those that can afford $100, but can't afford $500.
  21. That's awesome. I would have loved to see it, but the scheduling didn't work out right for me. Too limited. I still have about 15 Ghibli movies to watch, including those you mentioned, but tonight I watched The Tale of The Princess Kaguya. What a fantastic, beautiful, moving movie. It's 2 hours 10 minutes, and worth every second. While I generally consider Ghibli movies to be art more than most other films, this was fine art. Definitely watch if you haven't yet. I'm looking forward to watching it again in the future.
  22. I said nothing of fun. I discussed only my preference.
