    While The Empire Strikes Back did not have the financial success that other films in the franchise had, it was a success in the sense that many still consider it the best Star Wars film. The inverse can be true of The Last Jedi.

    Just posting here to say that season 5 of Voltron: Legendary Defender will be launching on March 2nd on Netflix. I hope that an announcement on the Ideas set will coincide with this.

    I completely agree. However, if a set interests me, I will buy it. I, fortunately for me, am into more than just Castle. So I buy the odd Superhero or Star Wars set. Harry Potter us not Castle, but I will likely buy one of those sets. My spending would be far greater on Castle sets. 2013 was a disappointment to many, yet I bought all but the King's Castle. Give us another Castle theme and I would likely do it again.

    This is a really nice take on the souce material. I'd love to see more of the story's key elements done, but I really like this version of B-612. Nice work!

    That's what I'm imagining. These are still City themed, despite their callbacks to Pirates. Could still be useful for Pirates fans, though.

    It was indeed a failure in many ways to a great many viewers. Financial statements are not the only means with which to track success. And it may have done well financially, but it came in far below the superior The Force Awakens (likely more than sequel fatigue could account for), and was pulled quickly from markets overseas for a failure to earn money at the box office. Fan reaction is mixed, and overall I have noticed more negative reactions. How many people bought tickets to this film and will not spend the next time as a result? Many, myself included. So while this movie may have made the money, Episode IX could be the movie that suffers for its failures. The next movie may be seen as more of a failure, even though much of the loss of income would be attributable to The Last Jedi. Of course that's all just speculation, and only time will tell. My point is that this film left a sour taste in the mouths of many, and that will not be felt in Disney's coffers until they count future box office receipts.

    I don't think that 1 set a year is necessarily a bad thing, and lean more towards the idea that it could in fact be a good thing. 1 Castle, Space, and Pirates set a year could be in a Clasic Themes theme. Some kind of LEGO History theme. And they don't have to be huge D2C sets in order for it to work, either. Lol, I get the arguments about production capacity and all of that, but I still feel that this would be a good thing for longtime LEGO fans, many of which have been fans for well over 20-30 years and have been experiencing something of a Dark Age as far as their themes go for a long while.

    Me too, that was probably my favorite of the 4 little vehicles. But all of them were simple but effective designs.

    See, I much prefer the molded weapons. So I appreciated Clay's new sword piece, even if it was a bit large and techy. But I would have enjoyed Macy wielding the Mace that came with the Frightening Knight from the CMF. My favorite piece from the theme was Lance's visor in pearl light grey, and I actually got one in transparent to go on a transparent helmet for an ice knight.

    I agree. I think the lava villains were the best, and I feel that year 1 will be remembered most fondly because of the villains. Aside from that, it will likely be remembered in much the same way that KK2 has been remembered. It was a highly contentious theme that didn't really capture the look and feel of Castle for many reasons, but there is a small core audience that embraced the creativity and will always appreciate it.

    The leg printing isn't far off from this: It just has more on the toes. I love the cake, and will probably be getting at least 1 of these guys for the cake mold.
