I really like the new front end look! I'm not such a fan about the roof though. -
[MOC] Race Car
JJ2 replied to 9 fingers's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Beautiful  The front and back end are my favorite parts on the car. The blue and white color scheme looks really nice on this MOC. One this I don't like about this model is the side of the car, it looks half baked in my opinion. -

Just realized this but I almost have enough parts to build the Unimog with my own collection, thanks to rebrickable Missing the pneumatic parts, panels (mostly color differences) but Unimog here I come! Yay

Awesome looks like this is going to be a good contest. The A-B model part I think is cool but will be a challenge. -

White Baja Buggy

The wheels are from the 7471 Marse Rover They are very grippy and are great for small crawlers because of the deep treads. -

Thanks! Coming soon... Yes, it does have good power to weight. Sometimes when I was driving it and it got stuck against somethingand the rear wheels did not stop put dug 2 wheel holes in the ground For the 9v batteries, they held up pretty well and their were 2 of them not one. Here you can see the 2 of them. I cut the swiches wire and spliced 2 9v battery plugs on it to double the power not the voltage. One thing about that is that the swich does not turn the IR off if it is in the center position so you have to unplug the wires from the swich to get it to turn off every time. -
Hello: This is my new MOC baja. It uses 2 L-motors for drive (not coupled) and a Servo motor for steering. It has full suspension with live axle rear (Like it should) and front positive caster independent suspension and working front lights. The batteries used are 9v made to work with custom adapers similer to 1nxtmonster 's called the MiniZip, but mine has 2 plugs instead of 1. (purists dont kill me) The front suspension is stablized by the 6L links elimiting almost all front-back free play in the suspension. Also the front suspension has no upper wishbon but it has a verticle axle holding it togeathe much like a MacPherson strut suspenion does, but the spring is not mounted to the hub. (see Image) It works quite well but does break if you drop it from over 3-4 feet or ~1.5 meters but it does the job for being as small as it is. Hope you like it All pictures HERE Bye
