  1. @redys That is pretty cool! Welcome to eurobricks.
  2. They are ansmann tires and do you mean instructions? Yes I will make some for the chassis.
  3. Hello: This is my 5th gen crawler that I designed to be extremely robust and powerful. It features full suspension, 4x4 drive, a kingpin inclination, and 3rd party tires. IMG_5253 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr The suspension is full floating axle suspension that has a maximum flex of about 90 degrees and 2 inch of up-down travel. After many revisions of the suspension I found that the 1x16 link can serve as a suspension arm nicely and can bend without breaking making the suspension less likely to break of stress. The springs are triangulated making the suspension softer. IMG_5268 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr Many hours when into the "drive chain" because at first I wanted to have a actual drive shaft going to the axles but that did not work out so I went back to the old motors on the axles. The XL motors produce amazing torque but amazingly no parts were damaged in when driving over rocks, the only thing that can be considered damage in scratches. IMG_5257 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr When I first built this crawler I new that with the 3rd party tires + pivot outside of the wheels would = BAD! so I decided to build in a kingpin inclination to solve this issue. I used the 4L U-Joint's because I did not want to break any of my 3L's. IMG_5267 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr The wheels are 108mm and are slightly bigger than the 105mm power puller wheels. More photos are on my Flickr account Hope you enjoyed!
  4. Yes the seats are too small I know, but Its way better that having seats that are WAY to big, Right? I made the seats that color because without that splash of color it would look really bland...
  5. No I live in America. It is on the right side because the front diff is in way so I would have to completely tear it apart to change it.
  6. Update! IMG_5237 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr Since the last update I have completed the bodywork by adding a windshield, a spoiler, and redoing the hood. IMG_5242 by JJ2Sam, on FlickrIMG_5242 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr I have changed slightly by closing up gaps and making the exhaust pipes black instead of LBG improving the look. IMG_5244 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr The underside has changed little or none except the bumper since the last update. IMG_5243 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr I have done some interior work by adding speedometers and since I had the room, a operable glove-box on the passenger side IMG_5239 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr IMG_5241 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr Aaannnddddd ITS done! Off to B model... Hope you like it.
  7. Ya your right! what in the world is up with this set? 4 RC antennas?
  8. Crawler Stuff...

  9. Wow! it looks good and robust. I like the way you did the axles and how you made the powerchain I know you just reinforced the 12-20 gears but couldent you have used THIS piece?
  10. Like I said in effes topic this thing looks awesome. I like the 4 wheel indepenednt suspension but I think it might perform better with smaller top wishbones. Have you thought of making the font and back of +caster? I really like the Znap pieces to make the cabin at least I think they are
  11. Very good looking rudolf, believe it or not I built 1 just like it but smaller just before you made this video.
  12. I am a really fast builder when I want to be I can build sets at lightning speed but when MOC'ing I tend to take it slow and steady making sure I can get everything right.
  13. The new 71308 Tahu Uniter of Fire has one of the new 3L axles with stop. It seems like many of the new set will be including this. Also it looks like a new yellow axle trend is going on..... Wonder why? Lastly I am pretty sure this has been posted before somewhere but there is a new 12T gear with axle.
  14. z3_2drive I can wait to see it!
  15. Looks great! I like the white color and wider wheels, it gives it a more "classy" feel.
  16. Yes it would but that would mean a complete body redesign to make it look right Also I realized that it had no windshield, how did I not notice that
  17. OFF TOPIC: @Babalovesloge55 why do you keep writing in colored writing? ON TOPIC: I think I might have to invest in the heavy lift copter It looks so cool!
  18. Well! I did not know that set had that many rare color parts in it Will it make you jealous to say I got it NIB for $15 at a garage sale?
  19. I have 1 of the 1x6 ones I got it from THIS set, I feel special now EDIT: I have a custom model using both of them, anyone want to see it?
  20. He means .10 cents per piece not .10 cents per set.
  21. Update time! DSCF0032 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr DSCF0036 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr Since the last update as you can tell I have done some bodywork. I have finished all but the rear and some of the interior styling. DSCF0035 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr I tried to go with a sleek look on the back with vertical lights and inward curved panels. DSCF0034 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr The side is quite plane but I don't know what to do to make it look better. Well that's about it for this update. Stay tuned for more! All the photos are on my photostream. Hope you enjoyed!
  22. I Don't mean to burst your bubble but that is THIS piece.
  23. This thing is great! I like the way you made the drivechain put as ZBLJ said it would have been better if you had connected them parallel to the wheels. I really like the photography.
  24. I prefer the tall version because live axles are better under high stress. if you are going to motorize it you will need to. 1st you need to change the -negative caster on the front axle to positive to improve bump steer and make it easier for the motor. 2nd the top links that you say bend when compressed can be fixed by connecting them with THIS piece to the axle.
