  1. Did the 10 wheels happen to come attached to a big yellow crane-like model?!
  2. I would but I've broken the model up by now to re-use the pieces. If you look at the LDD file you'll see that it was 4WD to start with
  3. Its been a while but I have managed to get the Lego Digital Designer file made and done. It will be attached to this post and I hope you like it! Drift car.lxf
  4. So, as promised here is a full video: As you can see in the video the model is pretty fast. It is powered by two RC motors with Eneloop Pro batteries as a power source. The model has 68.8 x 36 ZR wheels and independent suspension in the front and rear. The front setup isn't the best because travel is very limited, almost insignificant because of the obtrusion of the steering rack. The model is 44 Studs long, 27 Studs wide and 12 Studs tall if you don't count the aerial so it is reasonably big: There were two GoPro mounts I used in the video. The most common was the above the front axle of the car: The other one was on the right hand side of the car inbetween the axles, which I don't have any photos of. Now here are some more pictures: More photos are available at my brickshelf, http://www.brickshel...?m=Technic-Jim. A LXF is being made at the moment, I'll post that when done. Please post any feedback, positive or negative! Thanks for reading, Jim.
  5. Cheers for all the feedback. I'll have a look at changing the shocks for softer ones or making it solid. In terms of bodywork, there is a bit but it isn't very good, Jim
  6. Same, except I was speculating a bit more deeply about the actual logistics of making the 42056 available in different colours. Sorry for any confusion, I was just trying to be funny.
  7. That would be very cool. Would it have all three colour schemes in one box and you could rebuild it into different colours or would there be three different versions each with a slightly different set number: 42056a, 42056b and 42056c. I don't know how distribution would work if that were the case though.
  8. I have just build this suspension module and I find it very cool. It has good up and down travel and alright twisting degrees. I changed it slightly as follows: I didn't add the lower linkage because I found that it reduced twisting I added shocks in a similar way that you would for single tube floating axle I added portal hubs and an overall gear reduction of 5.001:1 Pictures:
  9. A fast Lego Technic car. There will be more pictures and a full video in a weeks time or less.
  10. Wow! I don't know what else to say. This thing is huge and very cool. You said that it couldn't lift very heavy loads, what is its maximum? Also, correct me if I'm wrong but 48 cylinders - is that a real amount or did you use 'builders license' to make it even cooler. I can imagine how hard it was to assemble them as well; I can only just manage and inline 4! I'm really looking forward to the video, Jim.
  11. ISOGAWAYoshito made quite a few which he uploads videos of onto YouTube: ; ; ; ; and many more equally werird and bizzare contraptions. He also makes some quite good, unique vehicles
  12. @Mark Bellis Wow! Thanks a lot for your really helpful reply and everything else you mentioned
  13. POWER!!! Some sort of big truck or off roader perhaps?
  14. The blade from 42028 looks really good on this MOC with only a few modifications. Good picture background as well
  15. Hey Boxerlego. You mentioned in the first post about a resettable fuse. Sorry to be a but thick but where is this fuse nd how do you reset it if it has been tripped. Also, do the 5292 buggy motors have this fuse so would it be safe to use this setup with two of them and 12 rechargeable batteries. Cheers!
  16. Really cool prototype. How would you transfer dive to the universal joint coming of the suspension setup at the moment? Also, what does the [POC] tag stand for in the topic title? Cheers
  17. You could have it as part of some amazing GBC where the balls come up the conveyor in the back and then fall out the side. It would be unique and quite cool!
  18. Yep. I was looking for those motors for ages as well! I still hold a grudge against that seller!
  19. Got to agree. That set was the first one I ever got and it is amazing!
  20. An outdoor challenger with working motors and receiver and all that jazz for $35. I asked the seller to send me videos and pictures to prove it all worked which he did then I went back the next day and it was sold
