Bingo I've been waiting to buy a GoPro. I've read an heard the wind dampening is an issue. That would be an issue with the some of the ways I would use. I would be interested in seeing an Apple version of a GoPro, only because I get the impression the GP is the best at the moment

A close friend of mine gave me his and his brothers/sisters collection of LEGO from their childhood. His parents old house was pretty run down, had had a lot of pets, mostly cats, through the years and had a pretty pungent smell. Inevitably the parts had picked up the musty smell of the home. I had to soak them in a mix of a little dawn and car wash for a day or so, but it worked out. I've also have had a few ebay sets arrive with a noticeable odor either from a house of many pets or someone who smokes in house. Regardless of their smell, or even if there was one, I still always wash them in dawn and car wash. Dawn for disinfect and car wash because it's seems it's a good choice for plastics (think bare car bumpers, mirrors, etc). None of my second hand LEGO sets or parts have an odor any longer You'll find on here that bleach is not recommended for LEGO. It can, and most likely will, make your bricks brittle and more prone to split when building

Yeah, that pic made me laugh. I really can't imagine why a rail car would have a steering wheel either

Those are some serious modulars. Very well constructed, I love the attention to some of the windows like on the med building and sideways garage garage door panes on the one below. I, too, would like to see some overall shots of the layout. Keep up the great work

I bought a used set and I have a trouble with the heads
LEGO Guy Bri replied to hachiroku's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I know this isn't any help to the OP and has no relation to their question, but this made me think of another question regarding the saying "Don't try to fix what isn't broke". Would glued LEGO pieces be considered broken? They work, but at the same time, they don't -
I purchased many sets I missed as a child, mostly because I didn't know they existed until years after their discontinuation. Price and condition where also my determining factor. Obviously they directly affect each other. I preferred ones that had little to no fading, good sticker, and instruction condition, or "missing a couple pieces" set listings. I always tried to spend less or as close to MSRP. Nice pictures and description were what I would pay attention to before bidding. That said, I never took MISB or "I wasn't original owner" into consideration, mainly because I was getting the set I wanted to have and eventually display. That is what was important to me when getting used sets

Very nice builds. Very attractive buses, much better than anything I would expect in a City set. Keep up the great work

Very amusing! The finger articulation, the faces, I really like this

What Goes Into Your City From Other Themes?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to CrazyDalton777's topic in LEGO Town
I added the classic and antique styled vehicles from The Adventurers and Indiana Jones to my city. I also have a couple Friends and a couple Marvel sets to go in -
Congratulations, this is a nice twist rather than staying traditional. Dedication on two fronts. I love the peeled back cake

iPads, as all Apple products, generally have a decent/good camera, you just need to have ample light and to hold it still for a second or two for it focus on what you're about to photograph. I know on the iPhone, on smaller items, you aim camera at item, center it on screen, and touch the item on the screen. It will auto focus that item by placing a yellow box over it and clear up any distortion, but light IS very important for all cameras
