I after a bit a searching and comparing I suppose I am close to a Lord of the Manor. I am in property management and run a multi-tenant office building. I also repair various minor things inside the building, from carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. Not sure what that would be, as it seemed most specialised in a singular field (locksmith, blacksmith, carpenter, etc)

Bought two lots of 18, 4515 9V Straight Track, from a German seller on ebay. First time since 2011, yet they still hover around $3.30/pc. His shipping was much lower than those on Bricklink, as well

Glad I rechecked this thread. Apart from wanting to get the Toy Shop I missed years ago, the little train is a must-have for me. Too bad it won't be available during 4 day double VIP thing. I only ever ordered once during double VIPs, but cutting it to four days is kind of lame, especially with the current set prices

If it were five year intervals, wouldn't it be 2016 and 2018? Either way, they always post a 20XX City Sets - Rumors & Discussion, that incompass anything and everything City. We know what the rest of 2015 is and a good deal of 2016. The first half at least. Airline stuff hasn't been seen or spoken of yet, so unfortunately I wouldn't hold your breath. This topic will be lost long before anything on new airport set info arrives. I don't mean to sound negative, just factual. Keep an eye on this topic for any info pertaining to your interest

Is the 4561 a good set to start on LEGO Trains?

I would leave it as 9V on the fact that hiding the PF equipment would probably take a lot away from the sets aesthetics and interior space. The rolling sock are pretty much all windows. Although you could build a car just for the battery box and sensor, making it look like it has a cargo wagon -

Heh, I could probably sway you otherwise I have had enough LEGO, even before I started collecting again as an adult. Now by a logical standpoint, I have way too much, yet I still feel compelled to keep buying with hopes of one day building my a dream of mine. Unfortunately I only have the parts, not the location. haven't built one since my last move due to my collection being at another location, same building, but different part. Sad, but true -
Definitely, very happy I never bought the original after it's discontinuation. I prefer the different odds and ends of this version, regardless if it's more or less an exact copy. The updated wreath pieces, alone, look much better. Though, not thrilled about the $20 dollar price increase for 83 more pieces. *sigh* LEGO

Neat truck GMC1987. How did you build the light bar over the cab? It looks like it fits, reminds me of these on fire trucks and other emergency vehicles
