One of my friends who does a bit of stand up brought Star Wars into his set over the weekend. He said, "before I end tonight, I'm going to talk about the new Star Wars movie... So, there are spoilers, but it's been out for a month, so you've had enough time to f*****g see it!". While I thought it was funny the way he said it, he did make a good point. However, I would agree with Dragon on making a note of content

[MOC] Aquasharks "Spurdog" Fast Attack Submarine
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Pimbo's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Awesome MOC Pimbo! Very seldom do I see MOCs from this theme. While it wasn't part of my collection, I always did like the visual appeal of the Aquanauts/Sharks. You put a lot of thought an functionality in to this. Very well done -
Thanks for the info. I searched for a while, but couldn't find everything Used my VIP points to lower the steep price of the 75827 Ghostbuster's HQ and a 60093 Deep Sea Helicopter

Those are some real nice finds. They look like they are from the late 50's maybe early 60's, HO 1:87 scale, era. I'm pretty sure they have a decent value. I am no expert, but LEGO Historian could tell you all about them. I'll see if I can let him know of your interest. In the mean time, if you can get 10 posts, it will unlock the personal messenger function on the website for private conversations. Also, an FYI, if you are interested in selling them, I believe you need to have 100 posts, before creating a "For Sale" thread, unless you speak with a moderator

Glad to read about others with this dilemma. On one hand, I can't stand my numerous unopened sets, on the other, I dream of the day I too can build and display them. My old city takes up too much storage space since moving and keeping them assembled. Feels like a waste to have, but even in a box they are nice to look at until the day I can build again

What got you into collecting Lego as an Adult?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to badchriss's topic in Community
I too never really lost complete interest in LEGO but, basically getting the sets I missed out on due to them being released a couple years before I started collecting as a child and ebay brought me back. As well as, the never dead dream of having a large layout of a town. LEGO just happened to be the medium, as opposed to model trains -

Do you mean a group of Spam topics reported all at once? I saw and reported four in a row late last night (EST), one right after the other. Seemed like they all appeared in a row, at the top of the 'Recent Topics' box on the front page
