  1. Just a thought, but have you checked your spam or junk mail boxes? I know that every time I created an account on a site like this or Brickshelf, etc, my Mac would send the first confirmation straight to my 'Junk' box. I would then move it to my 'Inbox' where any further corresponding emails, from admins or what have you, all go. I told and computer learned
  2. Yes, excellent representation and MOC
  3. For August I ordered: 75913 F14 T and Scuderia Ferrari Truck 60078 Utility Shuttle 21302 Big Bang Theory 21301 Birds and got the 5003082 2015 Retro Pirate minifig set I also ordered 21110 Research Institute from Amazon. It was a little pricey, but still a good bit less than ebay auctions
  4. I use Brickshelf as part of my "owned set list" or when looking at set availability. It has been a few years, but I did change my username in 2013, a couple years after original creation. Back then I received a email very quick and had it changed in about a day and seemed to have been typed by a person. I cannot remember how long I had to wait for the confirmation email for setting up the account though. Getting back into LEGO in 2010 i created accounts there, here and Bricklink all within a few months. I do remember one of them taking a few days to get confirmed. I wish I could provide a little more info, but that is the history of my Brickshelf experience. I will say I do like the site. It's very easy to navigate and to search and find sets. I also like how when looking at a particular set, there are options that will directly link it to LEGO.com (if available there), ebay, and Amazon. I always check Amazon when buying new sets over LEGO.com because some have massive price decreases. You only forfeit VIP points, but saving 5-20% off MSRP is usually worth it. The set info panel on right is also nice with the 'Availability' feature, prices (EU, US, Can), set year, piece count and other bits about the set. All in all, I think it's a great site
  5. Excellent build M_long! Very realistic, I love your models. Seems like a it's been a while since I've seen one, very glad to
  6. Those are some fantastic builds. Love the display and all the large array of items and furniture. Will you be adding to this?
  7. Excellent layout, kc2dc, loads to look at. It great to see a proper size runway, something not easy to incorporate
  8. Bwaha, mug is pink in first red in second! There is also a snake in second while a purple flower in first. Seem like the is a blue table vs orange and possibly a drumstick behind dog
  9. Magnificent build Gunman. It's simply amazing the level of detail. So much fun to look at, very well done
  10. Awesome front-end loader Lenny. I love the detail of the build. Nice use of MF legs for cylinder heads. This would go very nicely with the mining truck from a couple years ago
  11. While this isn't really what my other hobbies are currently, because thinking about it I find I don't really have any at the moment. They are the hobbies I wish I could get back into. I used to collect and paint 1:64 cars, not so much since 2011. Mountain biking and working on my cars. My friends all have jobs and getting time has become difficult for mtn. biking. I love autos and motorcycles, reflected in my car and LEGO collections. I used to work on them, installing or modding parts for personalization. As for working on my vehicles now, some moron pulled out in front of me at a red light, 9/11/11, and killed my 92' Trooper. As for my Tiburon, I decided to cease on any further mods to get more power because they just get more and more expensive the deeper you go and because it's a 7yr old V6 Tiburon so... do the math. I sold my motorcycle and haven't bought another one yet. I suppose other than work, now all I do is watch some tv or play GTAV on weekdays and going out with friends on the weekend. Pretty black and white... Oh, I do love to eat different or new things, or just a lot. Kinda in a late 20's rut
  12. Love the detail of the interior. The dollar sign floor is really neat. A very nice MOC overall
  13. I can do you one better. If you can give me a couple days, I can find my MegaBloks skate park sets in storage. They have been assembled since 2000. I'm pretty sure the parts that held together well, new, still have the same clutch power Edit: While those sets never had great clutch power, especially 1x1 round bricks, flags, and other odd shaped parts with few stud points, they still feel and come apart with as much effort as they did when I built it so long ago. They even made it through a 5 mile UHaul ride through the hills, snow, and any bumps inside large, plastic totes with no tie down straps intact
  14. I would be weary of moisture and temp fluctuations. Right now I have moved my built sets and new to a new storage location, hopefully for the last time, to the basement of my building. The room was an old paper file storage room and was quite musty due to the paper holding in humidity and heat. Thankfully after a couple of dehumidifiers, fan, removal of old carpet pieces, and some caulking and paint, it seems quite habitable
  15. That video got hilarious at the end. Even funnier is the fact the guy at the end looks and yells like a personal friend of mine
  16. Fantastic MOC! You two did a wonderful job
  17. Put in a S@H order for: 10244 Fairground Mixer 21020 Trevi Fountain 21022 Lincoln Memorial 21023 Flatiron Building 60032 Arctic Snowmobile 60077 Space Shuttle Starter Set 60079 Training Jet Transport 60090 Deep Sea Scuba Scooter 60091 Deep Sea Starter Set 853429 Batman Keychain and the freebies: 5002943 Winter Soldier Minifig 5004256 LL Ticket Voucher
  18. Love the modern take on the old modular. The dark red is one of my favorite colors in buildings
  19. New season of the adult cartoon, China, Il, on [adult swim] (late nite Cartoon Network) had a main character referencing to LEGO in a sarcastic joke about a specific type of girls interacting with a specific type of guys. I'm sure you can figure what it was. I thought it was funny, but probably not for everyone. Still, it was a funny shout out IMO
  20. Heh, palindromes
  21. This has been periodically asked throughout the years
  22. Great layout and video. I really enjoyed seeing all the trains in motion. Love the topic title, too
  23. Fun and I learned something today. Thank you
  24. Wow, that is insane. Kind of at a loss of words... Amazing
  25. Valid points. I peer into the B.S.T.F. forum every now and again to see whats floating around. It can be quite annoying to have to keep bringing up BL or Brickset to search set numbers, especially if the person has numerous listings. I would be for having them be a requirement when creating a listing, or at least the latter
