  1. I really dislike that Batmobile! But, I quite like the Joker's car, especially since it comes with Harley Quinn and Batgirl.
  2. Oooooh! I like CM4Sci's guess of a "hospital". I like it a LOT!
  3. The Joker's lowrider, if it is the pictured vehicle, is interesting. I'll probably get it if it also comes with Harley Quinn. As for the Batmobile, I hope that it has two seats for Batman and Robin like the Batmobile interior in the photo.
  4. It looks great to me. It doesn't have everything that I wanted, but it still meets my lofty expectations. I'm excited for what this means for a possible expansion of the "Disney" theme - will we see the Disneyland / Sleeping Beauty's Castle, maybe a Main Street façade, possibly some of the smaller, classic / iconic rides like Dumbo, Teacups, etc or a Disney railway?
  5. It sounds like it was planned to be revealed at SDCC later in July. Whether or not that will change now that clear pictures have leaked remains to be seen.
  6. Awesome. I'm slightly disappointed by the open back and the limited number of minifigures, but it's still so very awesome! All of the vignettes from different Disney films is a cool idea and looks great. I can't wait to see some bigger photos. And to get confirmed pricing so that I know how many body parts I'll need to be able to sell to afford it.
  7. Awesome. A lovely design and build.
  8. 13 sets is pretty epic. I'm hoping for a good looking Batmobile that can seat Batman and Robin. I'd also love a Wayne Manor / Batcave play set similar to the Kenner Batcave Command Centre play set, with the Wayne Manor facade, Batcave interior and ACE Chemicals interior. Or, even better, a deluxe Wayne Manor / Batcave play set that is more similar to the build of the Haunted House (with some fudging of the location of the Batcave since it wouldn't be under the manor).
  9. I'd love a Modular Hospital. But, with their current focus on interior details (at the expense of the overall size of the building), I'm not sure that would be possible. A doctor's office with an attached pharmacy seems possible. And it would be "close enough" for me.
  10. I hope that we get at least one set for the Wonder Woman solo movie. Of course, since the villain is still unknown, what the set might include is a mystery (other than Diana and Steve Trevor).
  11. I can't wait until this release is confirmed and we see pictures. It's already at the top of my Christmas present wish list. Tokyo Disneyland was my "first" Disney theme park, so it will be great to have Cinderella's Castle (even if the colours are likely to be more similar to the Walt Disneyworld version of Cinderella's Castle). As for the price, it's not often I say this, but the more expensive the better! I want it to be a great, big, accurate and detailed castle and if that means that it costs more, then I'll just need to save a little harder.
  12. I managed to get all 18 last night - I consider myself to be incredibly fortunate. I love them all, but my favourite mini figures are Maleficent, Donald Duck, Buzz Lightyear, Ursula and Peter Pan. I was a little disappointed with some of the accessories (e.g. Ariel’s clamshell and jewel) and with the absence of accessories for some characters, particularly Stitch and Cheshire Cat since they both seem “cheap” due to their size and non-articulated legs. But, overall I’m very happy with this series. I really hope that Lego release a second series of Disney CMFs. If so, I’d love to see: Woody, Jessie, Mulan, The Beast, Belle, Jasmine, Jafar, Goofy, Clarabelle, Pluto, Uncle Scrooge, Bernard, Bianca, Merida, Chip, Dale, Hercules and Hades. Not to mention many, many, many others!
  13. Does anyone know of an online retailer which sells a full / complete set of the 18 Disney CMFs (as opposed to an entire box)? This is the first time that I want one of each character in a CMF series.
  14. Yes, yes and yes for this Disney fan!
  15. Awesome news. My personal preference was for Sleeping Beauty's Castle over Cinderella's Castle, but I'll be happy with ANY Disney Castle (with the possible exception of the Shanghai Castle since it's not tied to any single Princess). I hope that it is a fully enclosed / four walled castle and not just the front façade.
  16. I wasn't sure about starting a new thread, so I hope it's okay to bump this one. Does anyone know where I would find a starting guide to building miniland figures?
  17. Awesome! Simply awesome. I'm in awe at the great work and attention to detail.
  18. I'd also love to see some restaurants, retail stores, etc. It would be great to see things like a Post Office, doctor's office, dentist. I'm not opposed to Lego regularly having its best selling sets on sale, but if they're going to release a police station every year or two, I wish they would be innovative and deliberately design them so that they could be combined into a single, larger Modular-esque building. I understand that the very nature of Lego allows kids to do that already, but it could be more deliberate. One year the police garage, the next the jail cells, the next the line up and interview rooms, etc.
  19. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Castle, preferably Sleeping Beauty's castle from Disneyland Anaheim (i.e. the original Disneyland), but I'd also be happy with Cinderella's castle from Disneyworld (or really any castle, other than the Shanghai castle since it's not based on any single Disney movie).
  20. OMG, OMG, OMG! A Disney castle as the accompanying D2C? YAY! Although, I do wish it was the original Disneyland castle (Sleeping Beauty) as opposed to the Disneyworld castle (Cinderella), but they're both pretty awesome.
  21. A nice mix of characters. I think they generally look good, although I'm a little puzzled by the lack of moulded heads for Genie and Buzz. I'm guessing that any human or humanoid character will get a regular Lego head and only assorted creatures will get a moulded head? Is this series still rumoured to be released around the same time as a Disney D2C set?
  22. The Pet Shop is likely to be the next one retired and was my second favourite build, so I would get that one. If not the Pet Shop, then I would get the Parisan Restaurant which was my favourite build.
  23. That's awesome! You fit so much into a standard size corner Modular - two shops and two full apartments. And so many great little details, like the partially painted wall.
  24. Love it! I wish it was a real set that I could buy and build.
