  1. More love for the water!
  2. Some really creative creatures! I love the variety, those little flightless birds especially.
  3. The landscaping and the bird are great. I also really like the picture with depth of field. I feel like I'm up there in the trees with the bird. Due to the scale and how things were built the photograph really accentuates that.
  4. Hah that was perfect. I was admiring the lovely pink flowers and peaceful flying things and then I scrolled down. Well played. Really nice rock work and I love the large predator.
  5. Really like the water and the use of the flex tubes. Peaceful. Let's all go here as opposed to Guinevere.
  6. Wow! So much action in that build with the lava exploding everywhere. And the wasp is brilliant! I was thinking the same thing!
  7. Love that opening shot. The color choices in the build and that background are made for each other, and the rock work is so well done! Beautiful use of color and fantastic lighting. The action sequence is really well done too. Looking forward to seeing which way you decide to go with it, but this is really nice.
  8. Very cool! The depth of field and the background really work well together here.
  9. There's a couple more banners going around. This might be all of them, at least for now, unless I get another special request (by all means, don't be shy - if I have time I'll give it a shot): Kawashita Recruitment Advertise that you'd like new members to join us! Help expand our ranks. Honor and glory for all!
  10. I've seen it before, but I'll echo Mike S's remarks and say that yes, it's an excellent first build given you had limited parts to work with. You should be pleased given it's a first free build in who knows how long. I'm quite fond of the story and it's follow through with your posing and facial expressions. I'm still laughing at the wrench bit which turned out well. Graffiti my Reppu will you? Careful what you start! Looking forward to what else you do! Welcome to Kawashita, rookie pilot!
  11. Thanks for setting that up for everyone NuckElBerg! I'm making one more version that is a "recruiting now" "click here" version, but having these slogan banners link to the main AG thread was my intention too, albeit somewhere along the line in my versions I forgot to reactivate my link and mention how to do so in my banner post. Anyone please feel free to use whichever version suits you.
  12. That became my favorite part too, despite other things I enjoyed while working on it. Thanks! Thanks! Not yet anyway, right? Domination on Guinevere is still but young.
  13. Egads that's creepy! And huge in scale with the ship. I'd say let it sit there and eat its Awesomnium. Nice work! That does not bode well.
  14. We all live in a yellow submarine... No wait.. dark red

  15. We all live in a yellow submarine...

  16. It's your fault for getting me back into Lego and for that I thank you, as well as for your appreciation of my efforts. I'll show you some more about LDD and you'll be well up to speed with that in no time. Both of us have some limitations in actual parts, but I liked what you built this week. Looking forward to what else you do.
  17. Yesss! Another worm appears for AG this week! The rumored clandestine Worm Memo circulates! Thanks!
  18. Yessssss! The worms shall dominate AG this week!! Really nice worm. I like the interior mouth part. I also really like the use of different slope parts to differentiate the underbelly. Nice groundwork with the dead trees and random detached plates. I also spy a hair piece. Good job and great first build to AG!
  19. You're welcome everyone! Glad you enjoy them. I had fun making them.
  20. Thanks! Surprised me too, but I was very happy with the result. I use that flower part in my weekly build too! It's all your fault, you know. I kept stopping by to visit and I'd see your kits and always be thinking to myself "I miss my Lego!" I have to thank you doubly! Looking forward to things you build. To be honest, me too! Thanks!
  21. Great story and photographs. Nice touch on the comm plates. I like the landscape and really enjoyed the I enjoyed the inclusion of the laundry room.
  22. I like the nose too. And the lava.
  23. Really nice rock work, and I agree lavender looks really nice on those color rocks. Fine choice! Also I likely would never have thought to use Elven hair that way.
  24. The board's sig editor is a little bit tricky, depending on what you want to do with it. If you want the one with the poles, do note that you only have one image left as the sig editor only accepts 5. Means to have 3-4 thumbnail images like you do, they would have to all be as one image linking to one place. Might be a deal breaker in that way. Just fyi. To set the one up with the poles, clear you sig for starters (just to make it easy). First image to put in is the the pole with nothing on it. On the same line, with the cursor right at the end of the pole, place the pole with the banner parts. Hit Return. The cursor will now be on the next line, below both pole parts. Put the AG sigfig image here. Finally, with the cursor right at the right of that image, place the lower banner part. In effect you are taking 4 images and placing them in two rows, with the first row shallow but the second row taller. That's basically the trick to align them in this sig editor - the rows have to be the same height, hence why I had to cut the images up for that version. For the other versions, it's simply place the cursor where you want it and put your image in. I made a couple heights so hopefully one aligns with your other images the way you like. For your current sig, one solution is to display only three thumbnails like you do (they will still each be able to link to different locations), and then in the second row, before or after the sigfig image, place one of the banners without the extra pole part. Makes a total of 5 images which is the most you can have. I had really wanted to be able to place 10 (lol). Was hoping I could, because the image size is so tiny on the poles. I was then going to place 3 small spacers (couple bytes each) on that row, and then on row two three small thumbnails. Total row height would have been 110 pixels and total kbs less than most sigs. It's just the editor makes a hard fast rule at a 5 image limit rather than total bandwidth.
  25. Anyone have any ideas as to why Bluerender doesn't launch for me? It shows a window quick like it's going to open, and then it quits itself. I'm on a Mac with Java Version 8 Update 45 using Bluerender 004. I'd really like to try this as an alternative to LDD-->Bricksmith-->LDView-->POVRay. That method works for me on a test, but the last two builds only around half the parts survived the export from LDD to an .ldr file intact, and it's too much work to rebuild everything in Bricksmith. Anyone have any ideas on this issue? Seems however I'm not alone as some others are reporting some issues with Bluerender 004 a few posts up. Anyone have a link to Bluerender 003?
