The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Exetrius replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Ah, thank you! Too bad.. Jang's review of the Ultimate Batmobile really convinced me to keep an eye out for this set in the sales, for it has awesome texturing, great functions and neat parts! Also, I like the angular, futuristic styling of the Batbike included with Two-Face's Double Demolition set. -

Completely agree to this! I wonder how long it will take till we see the any official reveals. I'm really curious to see how many of the decorations in the sets are actually prints, they look really nice for using in a medieval asian context. -

Could anyone tell me if Bruce Wayne's hair fits on a minifig with Penguin's fur collar? -
Key chain hoods look like this, so I'm afraid this is a clone part. And this is how the Manta ray looks like, but it's hard to judge with no in-hand experience: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30084&idColor=11#T=C&C=11

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Exetrius replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Sounds good! A mix of humans and aliens on both the good guy and bad guy side would be nice to see. And I could see a space racers theme work as well, because racing is an ever-popular concept.- 991 replies

Those were exactly my thoughts at first, but looking at the other fish villains, It seems only the shark ones (great white and hammerhead) will be moulded, fortunately: -

Sharing, or promoting? You can promote your project as a banner or link in your signature (basically no restrictions), otherwise you can present your creation as a MOC in its own topic, where you are allowed to give a single link to the Ideas page of your project. If you have found a cool project of someone else and you simply want to discuss it, you are here at the right address. Hope that helps you, otherwise you can refer to the guidelines or ask a moderator.

MOC - WIP - Inferno HQ Hoverjet Launch Pad
Exetrius replied to dignow's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Moderators can merge topics, but you could simply copy the content of this one and add it as a new post in your previous topic. You can also edit the title, so that it better reflects its new purpose (WIP thread).- 3 replies

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Exetrius replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I'm waaay out of the loop with Ninjago, so chances are pretty slim that this tweet has gone unnoticed here, but anyway: Probably Nelson, who (coincidentally?) has a drawing attached to his back in minifig form.- 4,591 replies

Great stuff, thanks for sharing! I already feel tempted to do a second haul... -
Just a few Serpent cultist dwarves: Jup, mostly Ninjago parts! Awesome army, but the presentation takes the cake! Love your dynamic fig posing, cool landscape, too!

MOC - WIP - Inferno HQ Hoverjet Launch Pad
Exetrius replied to dignow's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It's nice to see some love for the Agents theme! I like the use of the orange beams for the launch area, which may be improved by covering some of the grey floor underneath with some tiles. Cool transport drones, I like the control panel and hose details! In my opinion, the control room could do with less diverse printed pieces, to improve the overall colour scheme/consistency. Good job on these builds, keep it up. Btw, I think it's more convenient to have one thread where you post the progress, because it's easier and more enjoyable to follow along. Just a tip!- 3 replies

[MOC] The foolish samurai warrior
Exetrius replied to Brickovery's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yet another friendly reminder that I should watch that show! Your creation is instantly recognizable, awesome use of the snake piece and those plumes for eyebrows work out very nicely here, too. I like the classic Jack a lot, especially with that expressive face (where is from?)! Nice presentation as well, with the bits of brick-built scenery, which blend in seamlessly with the background. Enjoy the finale and keep up the good work!- 4 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion

I went to the Toys XL LEGO superstore in Middelburg, but they didn't have them (nor any summer sets, btw). This Dutch store has them online, but not at retail price though: http://losseminifiguren.nl/product-categorie/collectable-minifigures/- 1,421 replies

So, if there was one figure of the whole Dimensions line that I would consider picking up at retail price, it would be Lord Vortech... He is awesome as heck, he is the overarching antagonist of the game, he is the only Dimensions-original figure, and he is the ultimate figure any fan would absolutely need to have. I believe, that if they want to end the theme, this one figure will determine if it ends with bang, leaving a happy community, or if it will be joining the list of ambitious LEGO games that were left a dead rotten fate.

We've been there already several times, but yes, Minidolls... regardless, that hair is very neat to use on standard minifigs as well. Hadn't really paid attention to the bird, so thanks for sharing, I like it! -
The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Exetrius replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
It's not easy to tell what a modern day space theme could or should look like. Space as a concept may not seem as exciting as it used to be, in the current public opinion, but I believe it's perfectly possible to get an exciting, refreshing space theme. If you have the right visual style, the content becomes less significant. Example: It's a computer mouse. I think this brings up an important point: design objective/perspective. This mouse is clearly made to be unlike any other mouse, to blow people away in awe. Most other mouses are simply made to fit the image of a mouse, therefor looking uninspired, but still good from a content point of view. The same can be true for space themes (although even more for Pirates and Castle). To me, Alien Conquest was just about the most recognizable, most uninspired, of the recent space themes, with green aliens invading earth in round, grey ufo's. Cliché! Alright, I'll continue my rant another time, getting late.- 991 replies
