Though this is not really the appropriate thread to ask, this one comes closest to cornbraids (had to google though): https://brickset.com/minifigs/gb018/patty-tolan I don't know of anything purist which could actually resemble dreadlocks, personally, I would choose the new Aquaman hair in black: https://brickset.com/sets/76096-1/Superman-Krypto-Team-Up

Nah, I'll be going on holiday for three weeks, but I'll be home a single day in between, but I doubt I can make it then. We'll see. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Oh, great! I don't know if this has been known, but the Harleen Quinzel hair is available. Just placed a large order, mostly colourful tiles, but minifig heads and hairs as well, most notably Salazar's. Loot shot in a month or so! -
Well, if you look at the the part on BL, notice "Missing part code" and a stand-in number for the official "x277". A lot of other Jack Stone pieces have missing codes as well: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=4622-1#T=I. No wonder that the Brickset inventory of the same set (as an example) is so incomplete: https://brickset.com/sets/4622-1/ResQ-Digger.

^ this . . . I feel you. Rant incoming (relevant for the last 7 pages or so): I'm still amazed at how much talk there could possibly be generated by just the fact that sets show up before the street date. Guy 1 has seen sets x, y and z at that store in that particular US state, so Guy 2 in another state and finds them at said store, but not available for retail. Meanwhile, Guys 3 and 4 are asking for certain numbers of set y and z, respectively, and wonder if set x is an exclusive to store a, b or c. Guy 5 confirms that he purchased set y at the store in the particular US state d, but forgot to note one of those certain numbers. Guy 6 lives in the UK and has found all the sets at a certain other store. Guys 7-13 check what the fuzz is all about, so they are trying to get numbers, prices and availability of sets x, y and z in country A and B, US state d, e, f, and store a, b, c confirmed. You might wonder: how much of this is "set discussion"? Sharing the spots to go to with other LEGO fans is a good thing for the community, but after the street date (the very near future) they'll be available everywhere! Maybe I'm just a little salty because I don't have a Target, Walmart, Argos, Smyths, Toys'R'us, LEGOland (Discovery) Store or LEGO Brand Store within the radius of at least 100 km... -
The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
Exetrius replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
1. A band of rogues that uses their stealth and their smarts to get what they're after. So eh... space-ninja-pirate-agents? Humans and cyborgs, preferably. No strong evil leader, because that would detract from the capabilities of the individuals. 2. Sleek and angular, to underline their stealthy nature. 3. Black is a given, the rest is hard. The original is great, but maybe other combinations like silver- tr. white- tr. purple? 4. A large mining corporation, a weapon manufacturer and an alien invasion swarm/mothership.- 991 replies

Geez, guys! I'd go with any of these ideas! It would be nice if they would break the trend of previous waves and give us (fantasy) chestplates for the villains. Also, I'd like them to include the set of various power blast elements seen in the upcoming DC superheroes sets. For the knights, I don't know. The second year's outfit was a step-down from the first year's one imo; more <insert that tiresome argument>. I hope they at least have a better design for the upcoming wave. I wonder if there will be another line of gimmicks, like the battle mechs.

Dutch webshop brickshop.nl states the Women of Nasa set will retail on November 1st: https://www.brickshop.nl/lego/lego-ideas/lego-21312-vrouwen-van-nasa.html It has a reputation of getting reliable product info early, so that's good!

No idea about the odd grey, but here is the hair, which has been in a ton of sets in many colours: https://brickset.com/parts/design-30608 And the other part: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x277&idColor=11#T=C&C=11

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
Exetrius replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The August edition will include a piece of artillery, which is fairly well-designed and detailed given the parts limitation in these packs. HERESY, TREASON!!! BURN WITH FIRE!!! Truth to be told though, I increasingly often find myself impressed with designs that these impostors come up with, sometimes minifigs and other times even the vehicles/dragons/buildings themselves. Nevertheless, be careful with expressing any affinity towards products like these! -

Next minifig with the magazine is Kai: Am I now officially responsible for searching these on YT every month? I hope Samurai X and (ninja) Nya will be included eventually, since I don't have money for the Samurai VXL, which might be related to the movie wave... -

I was sort of expecting that. Quality is great and all, plus these are on the whole more desireable than any other CMF series for me, but I'm just not buying them all at a price like that! I'm not okay with 5 figs for 20 euros; this is retail, not aftermarket! -
Yes, let's see: Ninjago Movie hairpieces Nexo Knights harpie hairpiece (recolour for Elves queen) and dark tan renaissance wig (see Knighton Castle) Rosalyn's hair (Elves) Rey's hair (not sure?) from Star Wars Green and purple hairpieces from the latest DC Super Hero Girls wave female City Police/TLBM hair and officer head combo New Aquaman hair That's all I can gather, good luck!

Really excited about the second trailer! I hope the fourth wall break will be limited though, I'm okay with the laser pointer, but Meowthra... not so much. Garmadon is going to be the star of the film, for sure. I bet he's going to conquer everyone's hearts. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets to rule Ninjago City in the end.

Agreed to that! Besides, the contrast between Clay's colour scheme and the stone-lightning form is quite minimal; there is no strong dualism here, which is a shame. Might be an unlucky photo, but probably not. -

Oh man, something like that shouldn't be dropped so casually! Anyway, you're a good writer, but you haven't shown much of your building skills, so I'm interested to see what you're capable of! -
So the Women of Nasa set is releasing on December 1st... I wonder if it will turn out to be worth the wait. https://www.hothbricks.com/lego-ideas-women-of-nasa-lancement-prevu-1er-decembre-2017/ (Sorry if this was already known, I've been out of the loop) Simple: MOCs and sets have different standards. Sets are tailored to a target audience and MOCs reflect the work of a builder, which may or may not appeal to others. Hi francis, welcome to Eurobricks. Promoting your own project is not the purpose of this thread. It's in the EB guidelines, so I suggest you go over them a second time.

Asian IP's? I don't know any popular ones that are not from Japan, so I'd say they're looking at anime franchises. As far as space themes go, I think Mobile Suit Gundam would be one of the more viable ones. That'd be cool!- 991 replies
