Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

This one: https://brickset.com/parts/design-28270, maybe? I'm not into fleshies, so perhaps it has been on there for a while now. -
Book III, Challenge II, Category A: Aid for Nocturnus
Exetrius replied to Muakhah's topic in Guilds of Historica
While often tough, stubborn, and in no need for pity, I am sure the Nocturnians, at least the southern ones, would be grateful to receive Khadira's subsidy. This may be the first step to re-establish the trade with eastern Kaliphlin. Great build! The architecture (patterns and proportions) and the colours are well-balanced, I can see you are improving! The flag line is a good way to add an extra sense of depth to the corner, and some colour contrast, too. -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

Considering I still haven't seen TLBM and TLNM (while I do intend to do so), I think you won't be.. I saw the dutch trailer, and I definitely don't want to see it in cinema with those voices. - hang on, this is the Set Discussion! Then why are we talking about screenings?? -
Wrong, both of the ghosts had an exclusive torso print and one of them, Wooo, had an exclusive face print, see here.

Many hairpieces available on B&P, they are all in my (rather lengthy) list of bricks I considered buying: https://puu.sh/CCfRF/e6bc3397bd.pdf Absolute highlights for me are these two, from Soldier 76 and Qi'ra respectively:

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Exetrius replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
If anyone is interested, here's a 16-page list of interesting stuff I considered buying: https://puu.sh/CCfRF/e6bc3397bd.pdf (I only bought a fraction of that, lol). I thoroughly browsed the sets from 2018 and 2019, plus briefly went over some 2017 sets again. One of the most notable finds from previous years is Qi'ra hair (Han Solo movie), imo. Alright, that's rather quick actually. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Exetrius replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just finished my journey through B&P, now I need to start prioritizing... The amount of parts already available from City and Ninjago is fantastic! And of course I'm more than pleased that all the special items from the Chinese exclusives are on there and (once re-stocked) available. -

Future Action and Adventure Themes
Exetrius replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well, it has very little emphasis on the robot/technology part, at least in the movies I saw (Mask of Light and Legend Reborn). Most contrapsions (the Toa as well, actually) appear to work mechanically, by some sort of magic, or a combination of the two. You could say that the Toa are as much robots as Ninjago's ninja are ninja. Maybe I misunderstand your statement, but there have been a few Indian and Arabian sets in the Orient Expedition and Prince of Persia themes, as well as some Jasmina/Aladdin sets and finally the Taj Mahal: However, it has been 9 years since Prince of Persia and 16 years since Orient Expedition, so a fresh theme with Arabic or Indian influences would be welcome. -
I just found out that OW sets are not sold in regular stores in the Netherlands, according to Brickwatch.net. I wonder why? To me, OW seems pretty lively here.

Future Action and Adventure Themes
Exetrius replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well here's what that looked like during Bionicles original run: https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Bionicle/subtheme-Playsets. Concerning a modern interpretation, there has been a lot of brainstorming at TTV: http://board.ttvchannel.com/t/ttvs-official-brickonicle-toa-designs-canon-worldbuilding-characters/35180 (and various other topics) and I recall there was a minifig Bionicle theme building contest, either at TTV or at BZPower.. but I'm not in in the details. Anyway, I still love the techno-pseudo-polynesian, tribal-elemental, bio-magi-robotic... (alright, you get the point.. ) vibe of the early waves. With today's standards, I'm sure it could be a fantastic theme! -

Oh yes! It seems like there is glitter in those hairpieces, which I personally find a bit unfortunate, but the designs are great! -

LEGO Movie – Sweet Mayham Pod (853875) Found on Promobricks: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-movie-2-pods-emmet-853874-sweet-mayhem-853875-bilder/74786 I understood that reference. -
On the subject of physical vs digital: if there's one occasion to go digital, it's certainly for Ideas. You want to give your all to make the project the best you can, right? That means: with whatever parts you need, in whatever colours you need, in whatever quantities you need, with whatever prints you need (although that's pretty advanced). @Elysiumfountain made a fair point about ease of iteration, totally agree. @MAB Those are really valuable tips!

Exclusive clown/mime face print and recoloured backpack have appeared in the BAM bar, as well as a the costume head: Apparently, this fig has become a hit in the Berlin LEGO Store: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-store-berlin-wanda-panda-minifigur-besucher-liebling/74871

This thing is buzzing (see what I did there? ) with cool angles and build techniques! From the face, to the side exhausts facing down and backwards, to the cockpit canopy, to the rear fenders and translucent tail wings; fantastic work!

Amen to that! It must be released eventually, right? Just like tin foil Emmet in Benny's Spaceship x3. -
Thanks again! It can be a pain to find the angle where the light reflection is just right to strengthen the look of the model, instead of being a distraction, but it's always worth the search.

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Exetrius replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hurray for the sewer babies! I wonder what the build in the set is, and if there is anything to gear them up. However, this must be the lowest value of such a pack ever. I mean, another Emmet? Total, utter waste of a minifig slot! The girl is fine-ish, but her parts aren't exclusive by any means. There are enough cool Apocalypseburg citizens that deserved to fill these two minifg slots. I would consider buying this at 8,99 euros or something. -
Thanks, guys! Thank you! Lighting is nothing special, really: I shoot in my room, on the shaded side of the house. My walls are white and I shoot on sunny days, when enough diffuse light enters the room. That's it.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Exetrius replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
So, do you guys think LEGO has introduced enough new parts in recent years for Fantasy Era II ? Let's see: we've got stuff for building actual castles and towers, a few items to add interior and exterior detail, some fantasy creatures stuff, gear and hair to make goblins, elves and forestmen, and some stuff to make wizards. How about the 2x2 crate in brown, or the 3x3 dome in pearl gold or tan, for a more Arabic theme? And reddish brown elfish hairpieces with yellow ears, or a red dragon! Wishlisting in it's purest form, but it's food for the thought. -
Wrong topic??
