I think it's amusing to see more than one poster talking about The Beetles. Anyway, I didn't want to get my hopes up in advance but now I'm excited that the Yellow Submarine made it. This might be the best Ideas set to date.

Ok, I thought you were using the term "UCS" in the sense of "official" UCS sets and didn't think you were using your own definition of "UCS". Using your definition the Ewok Village would definitely be one of the best UCS sets ever.

That tree is amazing. I would consider it being an artwork.

Thanks for posting this review. Your efforts are well appreciated. Please don't mistake the Ewok Village set for a UCS set. Just because it's obviously superior to a "real" UCS set like Assault on Hoth doesn't make it one.

I just clicked on the topic title, and without looking at your name I instantly got a snaillad vibe from looking at the MOC! This toaster building and its surroundings are amazing. Well done.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of your MOC though there are a lot of nice details. In my opinion, the proportions are a little bit off. The middle floor seems to be significantly lower than the top floor which looks imbalanced. Another issue is the mix of different textures (e.g. masonry and log bricks) and colors on the front of your building. To me it looks a little bit messy and takes away from the look of the facade as a whole. Fortunately, the vast majority of comments seems to be positive.

I love all those details you included. Do you keep all your MOCs intact or do you reuse the parts for other MOCs?

This is an awesome model. I'd love to see more models of yours in the future.

I didn't see your MOC when you posted it but I'm glad that I've discovered it now. It's truly amazing!

Well, if you're unlucky someone else already smooshed the box for the 3 copies of Löw. So after smooshing every single pack you won't have identified a single minifigure and all your trouble's in vain. That's why I also decided against smooshing in this case. This series also makes one appreciate past series with easily indentifiable minifigures. Personally, I bought 28 packs and got 7 copies of André Schürrle. I'm really not sure what to do with him.

AoH does not include more minifigures than EV unless you count the maxifigures as multiple minifigures. Also, all essential characters are represented in the EV set whereas central figures like Leia are omitted in AoH.

I admire how you put to use the kind of bricks and pieces I've thoughtlessly discarded in the past.

REVIEW: 70324 Merlok's Library 2.0
Dazz replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The minifigures are great, as are the printed parts like the evil book, but overall it's just an avarage set. -
This looks good but I think the lower part of the building could benefit from some more height. If you're looking for inspiration there's also this superb Council variant by Alebricks: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=124574

Your MOC would be even better if packets of money were piling up in the office.

These are great. I supported your original one on Ideas, and I like that you expanded the collection.

Thanks for sharing the video. Your mod looks awesome.

So this is a cinema without a screen?

Thanks for sharing this work of art. This is the set LEGO should have released but chose not to.
-
You do not fail to deliver pure awesomeness again.

I'm pretty sure it's not the question if but when they will release another set including a wheelchair. So it doesn't make sense to purchase this set only for the minifigure in a wheelchair.
-
I really like this a lot although personally, I would add a non-blue pop of color to the facade, e.g flowerbeds or ramblers.

Your layout is great. I hope you will show us the new layout after your move. too.

This is amazing. It's surprising what can be done with LEGO time and again.

This is nice. I love how the hallway seperates the two shops on the groundfloor. The craftsmen renovating the appartment are really cool, too.
