  1. That surely is a cool idea, thinking outside the box.

    Ballabreek 2017

I cannot stop wondering if some of these news stories are made up.
  3. I really like the progress you made. You're on the right track!
  4. Do you think that the picture doesn't show the finalized set?
  5. Thanks for sharing this project. RuPaul's kinda cool so I had to vote for it.
  6. That's a great display of classic space sets you have there!

I love your photo showing the Y-wing and crew in the snow.
  8. You could add small details to your buildings to make them look more realistic. There are lots of possibilities here like signs, mailboxes, outdoor lighting, flower-boxes etc.
  9. What an amazing photo. At first I thought that this is a rendered computer-generated picture but then realized it's built with real bricks! The pyramid looks great for its size. The vegetation is very nicely done, too (love the added frogs and parrots).
  10. Your creation is really impressive, especially for a first MOC. For how long did you work on this forum? I hope you get to build another forum soon so you can show it here, too.
  11. This MOC of yours is amazing! I'd love to see it in a small cityscape.

    Ballabreek 2016

The ice sculpture was a great idea. At first, I thought that it must be a rare LEGO part or even prototype, maybe something similar to Han Solo in carbonite. And I like how you keep the outside world updated about the events in Ballabreek. It's like you're our only connection to this remote place that would otherwise be totally unknown.
  13. Well, the clothing of the minifigures doesn't look like 1st half of the 20th century very much. Every female with the exception of the bride is wearing trousers, even at the workplace (bank, department store, town hall).
  14. How do you explain the presence of modern LEGO sets in the Assembly Square set then?
  15. LEGO could take inspiration from Barcelona's Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau for an architectural style similar to their other modulars. Or they could design a nice modern hospital building as the modular series is set in this day and age.
  16. I think this build was inspired by 41006 Downtown Bakery as the entrance looks similar. This could explain why that door looks the way it does.
  17. Your museum looks really great. My favourite part is probably the roof allowing you to have a look inside the top floor.
  18. Imperial Shuttle Tydirium is now marked "retiring soon". The list seems to be still growing.
  19. This is so colorful and cheery that I just have to like it. Also, good luck with the LEGO event!
  20. So it must be one of those famed Ming dynasty pandas.
  21. This is a nice build. I like how you fit all those different exhibitions in so little space. Just one question: what's up with the panda?
  22. The waist of that torso is accentuated due to the use of a belt. So it makes sense. Are there any female torsos using bulky clothing and no belt where the waist is highlighted?
  23. Well, I don't see the issue here as the average woman has a body shape different from the average man. I'm sure most people into LEGO like having the choice between body parts (heads, torsos, hair pieces) representing different sexes. If minifigures representing women weren't recognizable as women people would demand that LEGO offers female figures. So you can't please everyone I guess. At least no one's noticing that LEGO obviously promotes unhealthy body images as all their minifigures are clearly obese.
  24. Thanks for sharing your photos. This is very inspiring!
  25. I could imagine the reason being the fierce competition between retailers in Germany. Maybe TLG fears that higher MSRPs could lead to permanent discounts on more sets which might not be in TLG's interest.
