  1. I'm looking for advice with regard to bricklinking the Grand Emporium. Has anyone tried this before? Now I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to buy a set new in box instead of bricklinking all parts (new condition) for this modular. The thing is that Bricklink states an average part-out value of $338 for the past six months (parts only). It appears that new in box sets can be had for cheaper so bricklinking the GE wouldn't make any sense. Is this correct or am I missing something? And would it make a difference in price if you purchase in Europe versus North America? Thanks in advance.
  2. This looks great as usual!
  3. This looks really amazing. Keep up the good work!
  4. Yes, it's available.
  5. The sailing boat is my favourite part here... very clever!
  6. Maybe Nexo Knights will turn out to be as succesful as Ninjago, and then get promoted to evergreen theme status, too. In that case, old-fashioned, regular Castle would never come back again!
  7. Wow, just wow! All those details are magnificent. Just a small nitpick: I'm not sure about the colour of the columns being black but I understand why you made that choice.
  8. Your interior design is marvellous!
  9. This looks cool. So many interesting details!
  10. In my opinion, the proportions of your building look off. For this kind of architectural style the ground floor could benefit from adding some height. The same applies to the top floor but to a lesser extent. For a more modern-looking building like your Bauhaus building floors having the same height isn't a problem but for a public building or retail shop from the era of historicism it usually is. I hope this won't have a detrimental effect on your building activity.

  12. Hier ist alles super! And it looks like the storeroom on the 1st floor needs some serious cleanup.
  13. If you're talking about 10245 Santa's Workshop: I just got this set today as it's now available again.
  14. This is so beautiful. Thanks a lot for sharing!
  15. A year ago 5 (!) different modulars were available (GE, PS, TH, PC, PR), so I doubt there has been an established rule like that in the past. Maybe this will change in the future, who knows. Also, this: Anyone interested in stock and sales volumes for EU S@H should check out http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/eu-inventory.cfm?cat_id=51. It's some interesting data.

    Trucks - Nemo57.

This is a great minifig-size adaptation. Personally, I would prefer a little bit of color to break up the grey and black monotony but the real thing you used as a basis for your model isn't exactly colorful either.
  17. This looks very promising!
  18. This is just cool. You used some interesting pieces as roof and windows. The result speaks for itself. I love your cafe sign, too.
  19. This is great. I especially love your mix of different architectural styles!

This looks great. I like the trees and foliage in the background in particular. It look very natural.
  21. The building looks great. Thanks for sharing!
  22. This makes me happy. It's great news for people like me who don't own any WV sets yet.
  23. It looks like it's build after the toilet from the 10218 Pet Shop set (on the ground floor of the row house side).
  24. Excellent build, especially for your first modular!
  25. Everything here is awesome. I'm looking forward to more builds of yours in the future.
