  1. She's looking good! When finished she'll be a force to be reckoned with. Keep it up!
  2. Hey hey hey! I like it. I like it a lot. Your builds have a certain cohesive design that would make them look great together in one big layout (if it was practical...) The buildings look good - nothing fancy, but very effective. The furnace looks great and the overall smooth look is nice. I wouldn't mind a few more details or minifigs but it would make a good official set as it is. This makes an excellent companion to the 2010 Community Build contest-winning foundry by exotrator. It's such a rare subject *sigh* Very good!
  3. Small-collection builds are the most challenging in all of Lego. The base is well detailed and the house (what we can see of it) looks pretty good. You've used some good building techniques and ultimately that's more important to me than the size or scale of the build. The grey window frame is a good contrast to the white of the wall and the roof looks weathered. And the vegetation looks great. Keep on building!
  4. I'm not familiar with Ninjago or the Vikings but this does look like a good remake. The trap certainly looks effective and the white and grey definitely look cold and dangerous. Good idea using the dark green leaves - they just look so much better than standard or light green. I wonder if I'm quick enough to snatch that spear...
  5. Yeow! Gettin' nasty with the brass knucks! That's one of the most vicious Lego fights I've ever seen. No hair-pulling for this bad girl. Ouch. As for the rest of the build, I like the arrangement and the diverse crowd is interesting. Is this part of a larger story? If not, it's one brutal beatdown!
  6. Actually I'm not a fan of fantasy gaming/books/movies etc but these are still pretty good. The first is my favorite. We all no he's dead wrong! The dragon head also looks great peering in at the princess from the side. Good job!
  7. These "quick little somethings" can be a lot of fun to build even if they don't attract a lot of attention. The base is really good and I like the use of different color greys, which looks more realistic. The shape of the rocks is nice too. Any story to go with it? Other related builds? Good job regardless.
  8. The overview pic is as beautiful as a burned-out house can be. The scorched tree leaves are brilliant and the rest of the landscaping looks good. And the different poses (alive and dead) look great and match the story well. Your photography skills are excellent. Nice build!
  9. Nice castle! It looks just like an enlarged version of an official set. The flags are slightly distracting but I suspect they wouldn't be when viewed in person. The sky background looks great and would be perfect without the shadows. And that is one serious pile of prefab parts! Good job overall.
  10. I'm no fan of LOTR but I bought several different sets for their parts and minifigs. The Council of Elrond is easily my favorite. I like all the architectural elements, the vegetation, the overall color scheme and yes, the minifigs. The elaborate printing on Elrond and Gimli in particular is very nice. And of course Arwen made a nice addition to my enormous collection of printed-dress slope-brick female figures. The set wasn't cheap but it didn't stop me from buying... several!
  11. Excellent build! The tower and landscaping are so well textured I could look at this for hours. I like the absence of a base with minifigs and accessories just sitting there. Very good presentation as well.
  12. As the others have said the posing really makes this scene but the base, border, tree, water and other details are very good. Lots of action going on in a small space. Excellent.
  13. Excellent! The tower is superb with the different colors and textures and the entire scene is presented well. The layered base and tree look great and of course the pigpen is nice. Very good overall!
  14. Very original and unique. The build is somewhat basic but the creature is excellent. Good job with the posing as well.
  15. Lovely scene. The tower is excellent and the roof is clever. All the vegetation and irregular trees look great and the water is superb - that color is perfect for the setting. Very good build.
  16. The base could benefit from a little more detailing in the center but otherwise this is pretty good. The main structure and the stalls are both very nice and the posing and details are convincing. Good job!
  17. The micro scale is nice. Fun time aligning the 1x1 square plates and tiles... Anyway the structure looks appropriate and the food items are a useful feature even in this scale.
  18. You really crammed the details into a small area. The roof is simple but effective and the flags really transform the appearance. The minifigs just might be the most unique in this whole challenge. The concept is probably more real than we realize. Nice job overall.
  19. We've seen some imaginative and humorous counters and this is one. The terrain is simple but the wagon is excellent and the white horse shows up reasonably well. Good job.
  20. Beautiful scene! The buildings are nice but the water, sand and dense vegetation are just lovely. I like the fact that no minifigs are visible from the front - it adds to the intrigue. Very artistic!
  21. Interesting concept - and the build likewise employs some interesting tactics, like the big technic pieces, URPs and the overhanging corner bricks. The underground scene looks appropriately busy and the tipping boat is very good. I like the cauldron on the corner too. Nice job.
  22. This is a great remake, down to the details! But it definitely stands on its own merit. Nice job with the overall design even if it isn't fully original. The green windows look good against the tan and the wagon is nice. And of course the posing is excellent. Very good build.
  23. Excellent! The entire scene is just beautiful. The grey border, brown and tan base, stone path, trees, fence - it's all superb. The viewing area is well built and I like all the different colored flags and minifigs. One small gripe - a larger audience would really add a higher level of excitement. Other than that, this is lovely. Keep on building!
  24. Another excellent build, Captain. The background truly does look better with these colors and I like the combination of tan and dark orange. The fountain is simple but beautiful and the food cart looks good. I like the variety of minifigs and foods - someone is happy to be getting a pretzel and the monkey is a good (ahem, mandatory) addition. Very good overall!
  25. The wheel-powered lifting mechanism is excellent and the hole is very convincing. The base is unusual but looks pretty good despite all the exposed studs. Good execution of a unique idea!
