[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
LiLmeFromDaFuture replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@Evolved Turtle Many thanks! The rate of progress on the walker has tremendously increased to my amazement (building itself to an extent); I believe it will see its completion before the coming summer, then will come its grand reveal! -

[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT
LiLmeFromDaFuture replied to LiLmeFromDaFuture's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It is seriously in deep, real deep develop; like a complete structure overhaul with yet again the feet and legs. These two members are such a critical part of the AT-AT to stand soundly, so its structural integrity demands the utmost dedication to support the walker with ease. Rest assured, the details will remain the same for the most part, and even improved with the new elements introduced constantly, but the internal redesign will considerably refine the whole design process in a straightforward direction within these parameters or requirements to render a solid build… aaa On another thought, I am also making considerable updates to the snowspeeder (redesigned fuselage, cockpit, and a new play feature); I look forward to sharing that soon! Lastly, thank you for holding an interest in this project, I really appreciate it! -
[MOC] [WIP] The Command of the AT-AT

No pressure at all. Though, I did need to convey as clearly that I could not possibly proceed with the novel idea, considering how I designed the legs; the articulation has to continue down through the legs and to the knees—again not possible with the progress I have shown so far… Nevertheless, still making progress, and looking into a motorized AT-AT. -
[WIP] MOC of the AT-ST Walker in LDD

In its perfect time, yes, but at the moment I am still working on modifications… -
Noice! Very well befitting; from the minifigures expressions to their snazzy lookin' rides—intriguing at best! Would not think the official versions to deviate far from this!

What brand did you use, and how does the sheen compare to LEGO.
-
I notice the decorated gray wedge used on the nose of the snowspeeders, did you paint them?

Prime, The black and very, very dark gray bat on wheels blends too well with that spiffy looking background; it proves difficult to make out a good deal of the details and techniques you implemented into the MOC… Though I am not much a fan of this Batmobile (if it even counts as one :D), or any Batmobiles after '89, I really appreciate that you added glass fixtures to the vehicle, perfectly shaped the roof, and added that the golden ring around the thruster; certainly the best highlights!

New LEGO Star Wars Piece Wishlist
LiLmeFromDaFuture replied to VaderFan2187's topic in LEGO Star Wars
For starters, I would appreciate when LEGO make a variation of this (Technic Brick 5 x 5 Right Angle (1 x 4 - 1 x 4), with an extra side; three sides total; a Technic Brick 5 x 6 (1 x 4 - 1 x 4 - 1 x 4). A certain element will dramatically improve the structure of my TIE Fighter; establishing a more piece efficient and sturdier connection for the solar panels to the cockpit and visa versa. -

You may find this review of some use… -
I really appreciate your considerable use of Technic beams for the wings; it definitely makes for a well-structured design!

[LDD MOCs] Brickdoctor's 2012 Star Wars Advent Calendar
LiLmeFromDaFuture replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have only seen one person actually build it, and he substituted most of the 2 x 4 tiles with 2 x 2s… -
Okay, for some reason I thought you referred to the "Brick separator," you know, @That Orange Thing

Hello everyone, I have uploaded the file for the updated model. You will find it at the bottom of the original post… Additionally, I organized the model into sub-assemblies, so the program can better handle certain connections when generating the building guide. I highly recommend anyone who wishes building model to try it out; the program laid out 99% of steps in a coherent manner, and I will also provide screenshots of the steps soon (for those without LDD). Last, I will upload the BrickStock file for download soon, if you wish to Bricklink this…

Just to clarify, I referred to model done by Hot Toys, not something made out of Lego… But check out this image, to get a solid concept of its size… -
@La Chupacabra My pleasure. @Forresto Thank you.

Yes, since a single joint cannot support the leg without wobble, I implemented the Mixel joints to fix the leg in place.
