  1. Easily the most impressive SW Lego MOC ever. Congratulations on a job well done!
  2. 9398 uses a V2 receiver because it powers 2 L motors through one output, which requires a higher current limit than the V1 can provide. I'm sure if there ever appears a model with such a setup again (another crawler?), they will use the V2 again.
  3. I got 41 of those #3's just for your Mustang so for me you don't have to change a thing
  4. Won't be cheap, but probably cheaper than buying the full set.
  5. Price for 42030 is around € 220-240 in the EU. Which is too expensive for me. I'll just order the new parts online.
  6. Shame to see they haven't considered improving the front end. It really looks rushed/unfinished. Back end is great though. Still, won't buy it - I'll order the new parts (dat bucket) online. The whole thing is too expensive for me. Yes, the price is pushed up due to all the PF stuff included, but I already got lots of remotes/battery boxes/motors/etc.
  7. Nice review as usual, Ted. Good job on the photography as well. As for the set - it looks pretty cool, but there are definitely improvements (aesthetic and functional) that can/should be made. Eagerly awaiting Jurgen's Ultimate 42030 Still, probably won't buy it but rather order the new parts. Price is too high IMO.
  8. Thanks for adding it to Rebrickable. Now I hope someone is crazy enough to create instructions for this beauty from the 3D model
  9. Beautiful MOC, as usual. Any chance of a parts list in advance?
  10. Looks great, but not a big fan of the stacked liftarms below the doors.
  11. Way too complex and expensive for LEGO Ideas.
  12. 42023 is a cute set, but does not offer much in terms of functionality, complexity, playability, nor are any interesting building techniques used. It's fun to build once, that's mostly it. Probably aimed at a younger audience (but then again, isn't all of Technic?).
  13. Photos seem to be a bit overexposed, causing some details to be lost. Nonetheless, thanks for the review. Looks like a cute set.
  14. Damn, he's a seriously great MOC'er. Take a look at his other beauties in his Brickshelf folder.
  15. 8264 is a pretty poor set IMO, only get it for a hefty discount. Those yellow rims are nice to have, but that's all. Edit: grrr, I'm parroting Ted again
  16. That engine bay looks glorious. This is like next level MOC'ing.
  17. Then the roof won't be properly aligned with the 'windshield' when it's extended. Can be easily fixed though, by adding support for the bent medium blue liftarms onto the 9L LBG liftarm (say, bushes on axle pins on either side), so they won't drop down too far when the roof is extended. Normally the rear lights provide this support.
  18. Hard to fit a differential in there and connect it to the fake engine. Not a lot of room available.
  19. This is a pretty good set! It looks good and I like the roof folding mechanism, it's simple but quite ingenious. The steering system also works well, I guess there was no room to fit in a regular rack-and-pinion solution. The steering angle is pretty bad though, but I guess it can't be helped. I also like the medium blue panels, it's a nice colour. Hopefully we get some more in future sets, so we can build supercars in medium blue
  20. Welcome to EB! Now start creating and sharing more of such beauties!
  21. Really lovely Model Team creation! Love the curves and colours. And yes, this is the right place to post Model Team MOCs.
