  1. A question about monthly income: Is it bein paid in the month of the registration already? This would only be logical, as it applies for ships as well (registering it in February gives me the chance to use it in February). An example: Let's say I have 50 DB by 1. April and 0 monthly income and no ships so far. Let's assume I now build a small plantation, earning me 10 DB for freebuild -> 60 DB. Let's assume I license it as a small property, costing me 25 DB -> 35 DB. However I will now have a monthly income of 5 DB. Let's assume I stop building afterwards for three months. How much money will I have by 1. May? Will I own 35 DB or will I own 40 DB?
  2. Beautiful microbuild, though the mountain might be a bit too high? Really great interaction of the cannons firing, perfectly done!
  3. Great entry to the challenge, really meets the idea well and superbly executed. I especially love the yellow elements on the beach, they add some nice colour, and the design of the huge palmtree in the foreground.
  4. Excellent micro-ship and nice design of the brickbuilt-cloud-background.
  5. Feel free! :-) I will definitely have a closer look at that topic before I continue my Joaquin-Poca-story to incorporate their culture even better (while still keeping Pocas clan somewhat unique). (I guess my other two builds with Poca might then become relevant: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=119568 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=121018 )
  6. Thanks for the kind words and the approvals, glad you like it. I'm sure Poca belongs to a special clan in the Ténotclaxcan tribe who have some differences in their culture.

  8. Really nice ship! The combination of the different sails turns out really, really nicely.
  9. Thanks a lot for all the positive feedback and the approvals, I really appreciate it. More pictures will follow, this house is supposed to be part of a setup which I hope to finish by the end of next weekend. This will then contain more angles and more details of this house.
  10. Well designed exterior, I really like it.
  11. Nice build overall, great job on incorporating that wall technique. I especially love the door, looks absolutely smooth.
  12. 1. Thanks to everyone who participated - that was a great challenge with many, many really well done entries (though I'd argue that none have yet met the quality of the greatest Civil War Challenges over in GoH, but that will surely come here as well). 2. Thanks a lot to the judges who took their time to score all entries, please keep that up! I prefer this over public votings. 3. Congrats to all winners, well deserved Dubloons. 4. Thanks to the challenge for those Dubloons I got, that will be some nice licenses in Nova Terreli.
  13. Brilliant roof, and one of the nicest little cabins overall that I've ever seen.

  15. Island: Berreli Location: Ocean, a bit off the shore Licence-Type: Ship (Class 0) Owner: Joaquin Seramon Fontonajo Joaquin accompanied Poca and her brother Picac, one of the most renowned pearl divers of the island. He was looking forward to seeing Picac in action while diving for pearls, and all went well for an hour, until the trouble began. Brave as he had always been Joaquin didn't hesitate for a second, took a spear and jumped into the water, attacking the shark and thus saving Picac.
  16. Island: Nellisa Settlement: Nova Terreli Location: River Port Licence-Type: Commerce (small) Owner: Román Esteban Fontonajo One of the first buildings of the Nova Terreli River Port area, the Fontonajo Commerce- & Warehouse is the heart of this part of town till today. Román watches the Terreli river from the roof, while his son talks to a business partner on the balcony. One of the many workers is carrying a bag with some goods outside.
  17. Island: Nellisa Settlement: Nova Terreli Location: River Port Licence-Type: Residence (small) Owner: Román Esteban Fontonajo The Fontonajo Family owns many of the buildings close to the River Port of Nova Terreli. Some of those are rent to other people who need to live close to one of the city's most lively places. All credit for nice architecture might as well go to kabel (e.g. this pic was reference for this house), all flaws in execution are my personal fault :-)
  18. Honestly, the amount of thought and motivation that goes into these things from you is amazing. Thank you so much for doing this for all of us, adds an amazing touch to this game! (And I am really looking forward to which islands we will claim and what the rumors will actually mean)
  19. How can you keep pumping out builds like that week after week? Incredible work once more! I love your way to present the vegetation, the tree is my favourite part actually, it just looks so good!
  20. Finally, the first amazing shipyard for BoBS, absolutely stunning, I love it. Please give us more pics!
  21. Really flawless execution, an inspiring ship for sure!
  22. I think the problem is the size / proportions / dimensions of the house. It's a two floor house, looking like a real colonial mansion where 20 people should be able to live in (landlord, his family, servants), however comparing it to the minifigs the outer dimensions of the house are like 5 x 1,8 meters, so the the innser size is probably (assuming 20cm of walls) 4,60 x 1,40, which provides room for two beds per floor? WAY too small. Everything else has realistic size dimensions, the house does not. It works perfectly fine on the first pic with the forced perspective. And please don't get me wrong: I love the design/architecture of the house, it's just too small. Also the cotton fields look really nice, the barn is excellent, the cart and especially the minifig posing is outstanding and photography is top notch as usual. If I could approve, I would. ;-)
