  1. Great market scene. The cloth-roof is well done, the minifigs pose nicely, photos are cool and it does look full of life. So: Eslandola approves Only suggestion: Add some more dirt to the ground (a piece of wood, pig excrement, some dirt, a broken cobble) or just let some equipment (shovel, broom, whip, ...) lie around on the floor to add some more variety and realism.
  2. I've never seen a roof like that before and I love it. Great job!
  3. Great job on the posing and photos, setting up the story. Well done.
  4. I think what we all will still have to realise is that BoBS is not there for us to earn Dubloons, but that Dubloons exist to motivate us to MOC even harder, more and better.
  5. Great build, really does look like a temple and like Oleon. I really like that you picked up that aspect of Oleon culture and shaped it.
  6. Great whale, great build. Eslandola approves
  7. Neat build. I especially like the level of detail on the terrain. The fences are also really well done. Nice job overall.
  8. Yeah, the tree is cool, as usual. However I think the groundwork (with the leaves and the flowers) is outstanding. I am also a huge fan of your water, brilliant work!
  9. Really clever usage of that spider web - great job, I will definitely copy this idea at some point! ;-) The hut is quite beautiful as well.
  10. Nice hull, well done! Great work on the water as well.
  11. Great job. Nothing else to say.
  12. This is a neat house, great job. I especially love how you arranged those angled tan flat 1x6. It really fits Oleon, where I imagine the rather conservative people to invest more into a solid housing than other nations. Well done!
  13. Román has replied
  14. Román Estebanj Fontonajo's study in Nova Terreli (no license of course)
  15. Having heard the story of Rialdo almost being hung the Fontonajo family was shocked. Now, some days later, they laughed it off. Actually, everyone in every tavern in Nova Terreli laughed about the doubly-failed double execution. Everyone except Guy's uncle... However that was not what Román had had on his mind for the past few days. The rumors of him being appointed as mayor had already spread, and the people greeted him with even bigger honour now. But he had not yet responded to Guy K. Wyndzon. Until now. To the honourable Guy K. Wyndzon, trust is a gift. One you have to fight for very hard, but still a gift. Thanks for gifting me with your trust over the city of Nova Terreli. Please be assured that I will not fail you, nor the High Council of Trade, nor our king. I know Nova Terreli is the major cornerstone of our success and predominance in the new world, and I will do all I can to prevent that from changing. This is why I will take care of this task myself. So please, go ahead and make the announcement of my mayorship public. Yours sincerely Román Esteban Fontonajo, mayor of Nova Terreli
  16. Amazing representation of the ropemaker, paired with some brilliant vegetation, really great job! That machine is so cool :-)
  17. Really cool house, it's rare to see those "big" pieces of Lego integrated so nicely in a MOC. I really like the big gate on the ground and the stairs up to the maindoor, this house has some very nice flair. The roof worked out really well! Only suggestion would be to add bricks behind the windows (e.g. orange for candle-light, white for curtains, black for dark rooms, ...). Seeing right through it makes the pictures look a bit weird, the house would look a lot more complete if that wasn't the case.
  18. The people in Bardo now know of the Ténotclaxcans as well: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=123325
  19. Joaquin Fontonajo had agreed with Poca's wish to take her to his home in Nova Terreli and introduce her to his family. However knowing the Ténotclaxcans' proficiency in music (and especially knowing Poca's magical singing voice he had fallen in love with) he decided to take the long route and visit Bardo first. Accompanied by Poca's brother Picac and his brother in arms Yucán, they boarded a ship and after an eventless journey arrived in Bardo. The three Ténotclaxcans where overwhelmed by the Eslandolan city, something they had not known before. But that did not stop them from performing their music in the streets of Bardo. The two men attracted all looks with their weird headgear and the uncommon wooden instruments, but it was Poca's voice that filled the streets with real magic. All Joaquin could do was stare at her in wonder, look at the beautiful dress he had bought her and know that he would never be able to not love this girl for the rest of his life. from left to right: Yucán, Poca, Picac; in the background: Joaquin Fontonajo
  20. Thanks for the feedback everyone! regarding GoH: That's how I got the idea in the first place. When I started over at GoH it was really, really hard to get into it. Especially I didn't have any way to check the style of a region/city to keep my builds consistent. Adapting the code behind brickseas.com for GoH would definitely be possible. However as Tomsche said adding all the data is the real deal there. If there are some people who can convince me of their motivation to add data to such an index, I'd definitely be willing to adapt the site to GoH-needs. @Gideon: Are there already too many fancy interaces in your opinion? Updating data: I tried to keep adding builds as simple as possible. Here are screenshots of the upload-fields: http://brickseas.com/random/in1.PNG http://brickseas.com/random/in2.PNG Including the creation and addition of the image, adding a build should take 2-3 minutes on average once you get the hang of it; some are quicker (e.g. challenge entries), some take longer (e.g. a licensed build in a city with many newly introduced characters). I'd love to have some people helping me out with this.
