  1. May the entry consist of multiple small scenes (which tell a coherent story of course), or does it have to be one fully coherent MOC?
  2. Both atmosphere and level of detail in this MOC are spectacular. Will you ever cease to amaze us? Fantastic!
  3. A really cool scene, and definitely the best presentation (image quality wise) I have seen from you. Great work! The minifigs are especially cool. I love it. My only suggestion to improve would be to add something behind the windows. Even some black bricks would have helped to simulate depth of the MOC. I am definitely looking forward to see your story continue.
  4. Probably the best one of your whole series, fantastic flowers and overall atmosphere to it. Amazingly wonderful work. With all the creative and unique plants and creatures you have depicted for CatB I think you definitely deserve to be among the winners. The one thing which is left for you to improve on to make a major improvement in quality is picture quality. I'd suggest two things: 1) Try to take photos in perfect lighting conditions. LED light may help if daylight is not sufficient. Hold the camera stable, take multiple pics of the same thing, and select the best. Your angles are already great, lighting can be improved. 2) Use some editing tool to do some small postproduction. It does not have to be 100% like taking hours to cut out all background etc. Just increase contrast and saturation a bit to lift the "gray veil" from the images. Just a quick example (probably a bit exaggerated):
  5. That is definitely one beautiful inn! Great work.
  6. Wow, I think I had missed that one. Really cool work, it definitely nails the task of the challenge perfectly: Basecamp for expeditions. Wonderful!
  7. Fontonajo's basement house will be licensed as a small artisan.
  8. Basement House, Montoya Street, Jameston, Celestia Jameston had attracted many foreigners over the past few weeks. Rumours had gone around of an orchid to be found on Celestia, an orchid so beautiful that everyone in the world would stop in silent adoration and just want to watch it for the rest of their lives. Juan Alfonso Fontonajo had assembled a small group of people around himself to lead an expedition into the inner parts of the islands, up the mountains. He had recently been to Cocovia, to get an impression of what might be the future of land based mobility: The Wagonway. And impressed he was, though also certain that this was not what it should be in final perfection. When he boarded a ship to Celestia with his servant Barlo Forga, he met a group of people who shared his same goal: Finding the most beautiful orchid in the world on Celestia. They decided to join forces and set up camp in Celestia first. Fontonajo hired a group of builders to construct the house that one of his new found companions, Luca do Figino, had designed. They dug about a metre deep into the ground and made a half open-basement - half of which soon became a barn, while the other half became a workshop. As it was rather warm and moist on Celestia, this was the perfect way to keep the air fresh while working on the preparations for their journey. They had even planted some of the native Celestian flowers, with lightish blue patels. And they planned to add more of the things they would find on this beautiful island. Hence also the barn, which might soon be home to some of the island's native anmials. Fontonajo's expedition group: Juan Alfonso Fontonajo, heir to Román Esteban Fontonajo, fromer member of the Eslandolan Colonial Council and still official mayor of Nova Terreli (though other family members are doing his duties during his absence. Lady Ludovica Grande from Mardier, born rich, married into nobility and a widow for more than 15 years after her husbands mysterious death. After the end of the long-lasting Mardierian Civil War she decided to leave Londa and discover the world with her friend - whereever they might end. Luca do Figino, craftsman, inventor, visionary - from Terraversa. He had left his home in young years and sailed to Mardier in the old world - where he found nothing but hostility towards him, because he was from Terraversa. It was Lady Ludovica Grande who left him into her home and may well have saved his life during the end of the Civil War. "The Doctor", a man from Corrington in his fifties who refuses to reveal more than his profession about himself. He has been with Lady Ludovica for a while, and the two are said to be a couple. Barlo Forga, the bad-tempered servant of Juan Alfonso Fontonajo, who complains that that he has to do all the work. To which Fontonajo replies not with words but with a decent weekly pay.
  9. Another typical Capt Wolf beauty. Really, really nice. Packed with cool details, and an immense size - executed without flaws, and nicely presented. Perfect.
  10. I really like the overall composition of elements and the amount of effort that went into making this an absolutely well-rounded MOC without any flaws. Great job!
  11. Great scene and two AMAZING shots. Wonderful, I love it! I can't even decide whether I prefer the exterior or the interior.
  12. Damn, that is just great. Wonderful work. The black fence is superbly clever. Love it.
  13. High quality! And what is best, they are so down-to-earth, normal people, not extraordinary superheroes. Love it! :-)
  14. Superb chamaeleon. Very, very creative work! A great entry for sure, definitely adding to the wonderful flora and fauna of Celestia.
  15. One of the cleanest small ships I have seen in BOBS - great work!
  16. Those books leaning towards the skull are fantastic, the whole shelf is. Wonderful reg-flag-curtains, greta table and absolutely fitting minifig posing. What I do not like too much is the ground. The flat gray tiles look like hard rock to me, while the green ones with the center-stud look more like a carpet to me. And that mixture is just weird. Aside from that it's an amazing scene!"
  17. What kind of church is this? Which gods / religion are being prayed to here? Would be interested to hear more about the lore. The sails are indeed a fantastic idea, I'd second Lord B's suggestion to hide the numbers.
  18. Wonderful! Fantastic. Beautfiul. Full of flair. Amazing work!
  19. Superb idea, and really well executed. I like this a lot, fantastic! Now some more mines is all we need. :-)
  20. This one looks quite cool, actually. I really like the general approach of having it placed lower, and the roof is wonderfully efficient.
  21. Wonderful mix of Jameston and Oleon - great MOC!
  22. The water! Most likely the best ship-sinking-scene I have seen in Lego. Brilliant work.
  23. Nice write-up, and wonderful ARCHitecture. The use of white is amazing. So great to look at! :-)
