  1. All payments for July to October have been transferred. @Captain Braunsfeld, @Bregir, @Capt Wolf, @dr_spock, @SilentWolf. Ownership of the Grand Road will be transferred to Eslandola and be taken care of by @Capt Wolf in the future. My personal shares will go to Eslandola.
  2. I printed mine, as you can see here. I don't think there is any better official flag than the green square, or green-yellow-green in the classical lego flags. @Capt Wolf: I feel we should add Garvey (5) and Mardier (1) to foreign relations?
  3. I've finalized my assembly of Mardierian soldiers today: I did them during our efforts to create an NPC-nation guide. There is also a version without text.
  4. I personally find it a bit saddening that the EGS, which to many is a far more important aspect of the game than the challenges, does not influence the rating in the slightest. And I am not saying that because I was the richest person at the end of Era II (which wouldn't even have to be the metric used, there are many others, might be like licensed one MOC of each category, or earned more than 1k DBs in one MRCA, or whatever). Just a personal thought, though. The tags look cool, anyways!
  5. Nice and clean little scene. Especially the furniture is great. The open book is superb, haven't seen this design before. Will copy. :-)
  6. Sure! This has been licensed as a plantation (medium if I remember correctly). I think I even licensed this one as a plantation (deer-hunter). I'd say: Construct a quality-MOC, take photos, publish it - and then think about the category. Every MOC will find a decent match in the EGS-categories, which are really rather guidelines than anything else. Just don't go too far fetched, and you will be fine. What would not work is the same scene with just minor adaptions, like different minifigures. What might work is the same scene in four seasons. What will definitely work is four different pictures of four different scenes, adding up to the required size. Also keep in mind: Sizes are rather guidelines (except for Royal Properties). So if you end up with 58x62 and still go for the Large License things should be perfectly fine. (However a plain plate with 80x80 and nothing else but 5 cows on it would not even qualify as a small plantation for me). Just build quality MOCs, and you will be fine. Also splitting MOCs up is quite common, especially in collaborations, like this one.
  7. Wow - that's quite an amazing ship. Fantastic work! All I can criticize is the lack of minifigs, bu the ship itself is great!
  8. The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview and introduction to all non-player nations in Brethren of the Brick Seas. For the player nations please see their respective topics (Corrington, Eslandola, Oleon, Sea Rats). The information posted mainly describes history and background of these nations. The included images of buildings, troops and flags serve as general inspiration - feel free to develop all nations in your unique way, and feel free to adapt your MOCs to your personal collections as well. BoBS is a world for the players to develop. Please post any suggestions, feedback and questions in the Intro Thread. Index - Click on the nation name to read more Madrice Peninsula Altonia At the North eastern tip of the Madrice peninsula, Altonia is dominated by high mountain ranges and harsh winters. Carno Pragmatic and honest traders, the city states of Carno are located in the south-east of the Madrice peninsula. Garvey Tough seafarers, the people of Garvey are very active in the new world amassing wealth as both traders and smugglers. Mardier Former leading power of the peninsula and new world, Mardier looks to recover their past glory. Namere Chaotic Madrice Borderlands Pontilla A cold land of mountains, deep forests and plains, the passes of Pontilla form a bridge between Halos and the Madrice Peninsula. Varcoast Land of forests, bogs and swirling mists, Varcoast forms the southern buffer between Halos and the Madrice Peninsula. Northern Halos Great Alliance States A powerful and rapidly modernising confederation of states dominating Northern Halos. Kingdom of the Great Raider Nomadic horse borne tribes that roam the vast north eastern steppes of Halos. Middle Kingdoms Successor to a once great empire, the Heptarchy is still a powerful presence in Central Halos. Mokolei Empire A huge and diverse Empire that spans the continent. Pan Pearl of the Guelph Peninsula, dominated by the coastal stronghold of Hassana. Salleek The rugged desert coasts of Salleek shelter vast numbers of corsairs preying on shipping in the Rogian Sea. Southern Halos The Lotus Empire Placeholder for text The Monomonto Shogunate placeholder for text The New World Prio placeholder for text Terraversa Gateway to the New world, independence from Mardier didn't last for long before the island was partitioned into four zones.
  9. Name: Corn (also: Maize; zea mays) IC background: Corn is a common crop, used to bake thin bread, but mainly to feed animals. There are many more corn plantations in the old world than there are in the new world, yet still agriculture could hardly work without them. OOC background: For more from Wikipedia, see here. Builds in BotBS: Corn Plantation, Nova Terreli, Nellisa @Drunknok: Great idea! @Capt Wolf: Some more cotton (will delete once it's been added): Also my introduction MOC to the Grand Road featured part of a cotton plantation:
  10. Lovely troops, great custom torsos!
  11. And it does look pretty damn good - great work here!
  12. Some wonderfully executed minifigures in a great presentation. And so many to love here! Fisherman, hangman, lady-in-waiting - are all amazing. The scribe is even more fantastic. Who I like the most, though, are the prospector (simple and basic idea, clean and simple minifig, but so super-effective, just wonderful) and most of all the Sea Captain. I find it extraordinarily hard to create strong female characters in Lego. I either end up with a "lady"-character, or with a "viking-lady" like character. Your Sea Captain however is elegant, slim (those white arms do wonders I assume, perfect torso and weapon as well), she is female - yet full of strength. Still amazed, I'd say the very best minifig I have seen in BoBS to date.
  13. Lovely choice of colours, looking absolutely beautiful! Dark red and white, lovely, especially in this way. Great work! I'd like to see the first picture with a bit more contrast and saturation, like just within slightly better lighting conditions. That's however all I have to criticize. The fully built interior was an unexpected surprise, love it! Trador keeps growing and growing.
  14. You call it a ship? I call it a swimming fortress! IMPRESSIVE!
  15. Wonderful scene. My favourite part is the perfect usage of tan brickwall-bricks for the wall, just looking so good. The palmtree design is fantastic as well, and the soldiers are really cool - both in idea and execution. Very nice attachment of the flag as well, and great presentation as we are used to from you! :-)
  16. I do like those small little minifig-scenes, and this one is no exception. Really well executed, with some cool figs!
  17. The cabin is lovely, as are the logs and the (hardly seen) smal lfireplace. The minifigs fit in really well. Great stuff. My favourite part is the dark tan path, integrating perfectly within the green grass. Wonderful! However I do think the green baseplate could have liked some more detail, like a small rock, or a flower or two, a brush, some undergrowth, just some minor details. Aside from that it's great!
  18. Pretty cool idea, and amazing miniships. Wonderful, I love it!
  19. CMF, CMF, CMF!!! Surely the most classical one so far, with some very, very cool minifigs. I personally prefer the sailors for all nations, really displaying the basics of what BoBS essentially is. Great work. :-) (Though I do miss 16 detail shots ;-) )
  20. Very cool facade for this house, great work and a promising start!
  21. Such a beautiful depiction of this lovely island. I really, really hope you select "elaborate" so we can see more of your highest-quality MOCs. Lovely!
  22. Just wanted to drop a quick note and express how cool I think this new format is. Thanks @Legostone and leadership in general. Also it's a wonderful MOC most certainly!
  23. Thanks for the fanastic index, @Maxim I ! You are the unsung hero again. Helps a lot :-) https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/153738-mrca-ii-adventure/&page=2&tab=comments#comment-2865354
