  1. Exactly what I do. And add copious grills to ensure the water runoff into the sewer system is covered.
  2. @jus1973 I felt the same way about the new road plates being a touch narrow for 6-wide vehicles. My solution was to add a single stud wide tile to each side. Yes, it increases the cost and complexity, but I do like them. Pushing up all my modular buildings and other builds by one brick was pretty easy and gives it a nice curb. Still, I can't blame you for going with what works best for you. The idea of dark grey Ikea tables is actually pretty good.
  3. Interesting modification. Reminds me of what Doc Brown did to his DeLorean. Good work crafting the new components on.
  4. Cool scene. Great detail on the keep, including the skull in the window. I like the incorporation of the Warhammer world here.
  5. Thanks. The new road pieces are interesting to work with. Thanks. I didn't want the road too perfect. Those areas for tiles seemed perfect for adding in rubble. Thanks. To which red canister are you referencing? The jerrycan on the back of the vehicle or the lantern bit on the head?
  6. Tight space, but you made it work and look good. How you managed to get all the PUp in there is excellent. The color scheme is really nice too. It stands out as different than most items on the railroad, in a good way.
  7. Welcome officially to Eurobricks cfreep0. For one that has been around nearly half a decade, you've averaged a post a year. Nothing wrong with lurking at all. If you've made some mechs or modulars of your own, we'd love to see them.
  8. Small footprint, but tall. Does it open or levels lift off to see the inside? @zoth33 has a good suggestion for expanding, make it modular. That thing is big, and moving it will become a real pain quickly if you can't separate it.
  9. Thanks. I wanted a gun that wasn't a Star Wars blaster with add ons. For that, I had to go heavy. Spade handles, belt fed, red dot, and flames when firing! Thank you. As for your OCD, I'll make sure I keep building vehicles with one seat and enough space to maybe fit a second. The Nk-529 is 5-wide, so you can put two minifigs side by side in it. Think of it as an open version of the old Adventurers vehicle cockpit mould.
  10. Well done. The colors work well in capturing this iconic building in brick. I like your solution for the Ionic columns.
  11. Cool starship. I like the trans-neon green blades used in creating the big gun. Your ship has the UFO theme feel to it.
  12. Love the humor here. Good looking castle facade as well.
  13. The road plates work well for maintained roads. I've gotten a few sets in now and converted much of my city roads to them. As for February, yes, this is valid for the Feb turn. KLR leadership blessed off on doing a recon through an empty stretch of highway.
  14. Cool castle. The red color gives it an interesting vibe, and the black contrasts nicely.
  15. Beautiful keep. I love the vibrant color scheme. Nice mix of old and new wall pieces. And those vines are incredible.
  16. Nice work recreating this iconic TV helicopter. I like your options for regular vs armed models.
  17. Gorgeous locomotive. You've managed to retain a lot of detail given the size of the boiler. Great work and supported.
  18. The Nk-529 Light Mobility Vehicle is a fairly uninspired design. It copies bits and pieces from previous generations of light duty military vehicles built inside the PDSRE and abroad. While not a stand out option, it is well known for its ruggedness, light weight, reliability, and ability to be modified to user requirements. Shown below is the stock Mk-529. It comes equipped with a 2.2L gasoline engine generating 140HP. This engine is normally used in the company’s economy sub-compact car, but is derated from 165HP for additional reliability. Additionally, it is normally a rear-wheel drive vehicle, but has 4-wheel drive available at the push of a button on the dash. Top speed is 88 miles per hour. The Nk-529 does come from the factory with the snorkel option. Two can be seated up front, and others can sit in the cargo area in back. Here, we see a modified Nk-529 with a gun deck and pintle mount. Normally, a medium machine gun is attached, but the user of this Nk-529 has opted for heavier weapons. They have multiple tools available as well. Additionally, a fuel jerrycan is affixed to the back. More options include a front mounted winch, soft top, hard top with rollover protection, and more.
  19. A band of violent opportunists has decided to collect “road tolls” from the peaceful inhabitants of Soalon at a natural chokepoint. While they are shaking down a dirt-poor farmer, the security team is cruising around, checking out the local area for threats. On their return, Master Sergeant Mishkin spots the roadblock ahead. “Lock and load,” he orders while flicking off the safety on his rifle. Above him on the gun platform, Corporal Melnikova chambers a 13mm round into her general-purpose heavy machine gun. Hearing the bolt slam forward, Mishkin takes aim and signals open fire by unleashing a short burst. The corporal slams her thumbs down on the spade and walks rounds towards the bandits. Warning – Gratuitous Violence Ahead Stopping at the roadblock, Private Litvin involuntarily whistles. There are only two outcomes with the 13mm machine gun. Miss or hit. He’d never seen or heard of anybody being merely wounded by one. Master Sergeant Mishkin’s ability to shoot on the move was impressive as well. He managed a head shot on one of the bandits.
  20. Great looking pair of 6-wide electric locomotives. I remember watching many DB class 111 hauling RE trains around the NRW. There is nothing wrong with building 6-wide. It much be more challenging at times, but as you mentioned, it costs less and can take smaller curves.
  21. Seriously impressive layout. 3 levels, lights, and lots of trains. Nice to see how it's grown and progressed too.
  22. @M_slug357 Supported. Link is: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/0bde23d8-17e6-4de1-8430-bcac974ffefa
  23. I think your design for everything it great, but it mixes two themes. Sticking with one or the other to me seems the better way to go about marketing it. This, of course, is my opinion, and you are welcome to tell me to pound sand. Also, you mentioned the LEGO IDEAS is auto rejecting submissions for extra info. To test this, I uploaded my rotary snowplow idea to them and it immediately was accepted with no rejections or issues. I don't see why Shiro-chan and the farm should be rejected. You've got crisp, clear pictures that are well lit. Best of luck to you getting it accepted. Once you do, let us know. I will still support it.
  24. For complete laughs, I added this to LEGO Ideas. You can support it here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/e929a3c4-6662-43ad-a075-a148ca52c7e8
  25. Both your small diesel locomotive and passenger train are great. I like how you integrated doors into the passenger consist. That's often missing from official sets.
