  1. The water horse of Talvor-IV initially reminded me of the walkers in War of the Worlds. Your landscape for Kandor-III is out of this world (pun intended). Are you taking orders for the delicious crabs?
  2. The map looks good. Question, how do the consolidated squares work for BB cash on the initial capture, and for monthly income now?
  3. You nailed the Futuron/SP1/Blacktron feel up top. It has the proper colors and translucent blue parts. I understand the lower section is probably designed to be more utilitarian, but it starts to evoke a more Star Wars feel for me. The Space Police speeder is great. Right colors, small, and mix of modern and classic parts. I almost expect something hideous to arise from the vents at the bottom.
  4. Nice work. The tiles create nice geometric patterns. The landing pads and control center flooring are cool. The colors compliment each other well.
  5. Interesting design. I like the differences between the dorsal and ventral fins. Using bricks up top, then sandwiched plates on their side below is genius.
  6. Wow, two decades of parts and techniques really makes Res-Q pop. Nice work.
  7. Excellent work. It has a great 70's vibe to it, especially with the orange kitchen. I must admit I had a bad thought when I first read the promo literature. In the United States, "plot" often refers to an individual section one purchases in a cemetery. Usually, we use the term "lot" for land developers. One letter, but it had me thinking Paradisa meets funeral parlour for a moment. Hilarious thought though.
  8. That about nails my thoughts on a good Hogwarts Express. And a motorized option like the Crocodile, but not including the motor to keep costs down.
  9. Superb work. I love all the geometric designs built into the floor and the columns are great.
  10. Excellent expansion. Your creation increases the play value and visual appeal greatly.
  11. Great build. Love all the details of you included of Irish country life. Your research work shows with the attention to the various activities, landscape, and architecture. Brick on!
  12. Incredible build. Insanely detailed, both above and below ground.
  13. Great build. I can really feel the Southwest vibes in the scene. The building hits all the right architectural embellishments, and the minifigs are perfect. I love your use of the flippers to create the agave/prickly pear plants. Kudos.
  14. Thanks. The sliding on the ice was unexpected and definitely true. Hadn't thought about comparing it to broom ball, but it's been ages. Thanks. I've uploaded the video to Youtube as well: https://youtu.be/OgqBI9ErvUI
  15. https://www.flickr.com/photos/43069041@N03/ Try this to access my Flickr and the video.
  16. When Elsa starts singing, "Let it snow", the maintenance crews on the railroad cringe. When the snow piles up higher than the locomotives or flangers can keep up with, it's time to call out the big guns. For your consideration, I submit a rotary snowplow. This plow is 24 studs long, and the main body is 6 studs wide. The actual blades and housing are 8 studs and a plate wide. The blades spin, and are connected to the front bogie by a set of 1:1 gearing. As many of you will ask for a shot of the bogie to see how I did it, here you go. No, I'm not going to rip it apart so you can see the connection from the vertical shaft to the blade shaft. It's another 1:1 gear connection. And to show it works, I took video of it. At the end of the video, you can see the train stop, but the entire track structure slide on the ice. Yeah, that was not expected. Funny in hindsight, but a good reminder of how treacherous ice can be. I still can't figure out how to embed a video from Flickr, so if anybody knows, please tell me. Otherwise, the link is below. https://youtu.be/OgqBI9ErvUI https://live.staticflickr.com/video/51836635960/ee1100997e/1080p.mp4?s=eyJpIjo1MTgzNjYzNTk2MCwiZSI6MTY0Mjg2NzAzMywicyI6ImVkYzVjMWExNDI0YTQyNTFhMjZlN2RjZDExZjA4Y2M3ZjBhNDY3YzYiLCJ2IjoxfQ
  17. Great Conrail GE. Cute set of mining locomotives. I like how you expanded the set to show all the varieties. The uranium mining angle is dark, but part of the Cold War arms race. Such is life.
  18. It's cute and I can totally feel the chicken's frustration.
  19. The rock viking idea and monster metal castle might have been interesting to see. Oh well.
  20. Not a bad design. It does appear you have decent clearance for trains entering the tunnel. As mentioned, is it enough for the Crocodile? The hinge idea is pretty cool too. Gives options for layouts. Supported.
  21. Interesting concept. The fact that you got it to do some level of magnification is impressive and adds to the model. Best of luck with Ideas.
  22. Excellent build. The architectural design elements are all there to make it match the original. Kudos.
  23. Congrats on reaching the coveted 10,000 supporters for this outstanding piece.
  24. About time. There were some interesting builds and minifigs, the beat boxes had some cool parts, but the app trying to glue it together failed. The prices in the US never dropped enough to make the beat boxes worthwhile until the big clearance got them to half off.
  25. Nice build. It fits the feel of Rock Raiders, and it entirely plausible. I like the inspiration from the Soviet era boat. That's a crazy idea in itself.
