  1. I'll agree with this statement. The regular minifigs, even on some of the expensive collector's sets are rubbish compared to the CMF offerings. Even the accessories for the CMF minifigs are superior.
  2. Once more, your dedication to details is amazing. Great work on this locomotive.
  3. Nicely done on this historic locomotive (and consist). I like the octagonal boiler design. It allows for embellishments like the name plate and valves, yet still gives an impression of the round shape.
  4. First, we will not keelhaul you for modifying the Crocodile set. It's LEGO, MODs are life. Interesting brick built solution for the stripes on your CN GP locomotive. It gives it the proper feel. Even your switcher is well done. The cab door is ingenious.
  5. The change of shingles on the roof really makes a difference. The firepit and tree are more realistic as well. This needs a nice mountain background and it would be perfect.
  6. I really like this car. Not only does it have the classic lines of the original, but it reuses a car that has multiple versions available.
  7. Good looking cabin. Rustic feel to it, with the right amenities for a fun time in the great outdoors.
  8. Gorgeous collection of classic grain cars. I like the various styles of cars with all the colors. The entire consist with locomotive and caboose is quite the show piece. Even the 3D printed parts on the bogies look good.
  9. I like the relief carvings you created in the Mesoamerican style. Quite fitting for the design.
  10. Good looking NYC Hudson locomotive. Well detailed and it matches the look. How much do you intend to pull with 3 XL motors?
  11. Good looking start to a modular castle design. Depending on your castle, I might modify the entrance to have a portcullis or two. Maybe with murder holes between them.
  12. Love the tongue in cheek humor with this design. The TIE portion is great, and the big bricks on the ends are almost perfect. The brick color does seem a little off for the Empire. Maybe a red 2x4 for a special unit?
  13. Nicely done. The use of different sized eyes gives it a comical, yet proper look.
  14. This contest featured quite a number of great designs. Congrats to the winners.
  15. Superb work on this wonderful locomotive and consist. All the details really make these three stand out. Kudos.
  16. Thank you. I was striving for both the old style look of the building and with the LEGO by using the ancient trans-clear 2x4 bricks, old doors, and old windows. Dank u wel. One of the LEGO aircraft I have required the tail cut out, so I made it happen. The curved roof was a surprising fit. I bent the baseplate and then went to put bricks on the ends. I was pleasantly surprised when I could use a few slopes and curved slopes to make the angles perfectly.
  17. Plate Field hangar. This hangar is loosely based on the hangars in "The Rocketeer" and other older styled ones. The roof is a white baseplate under compression (questionable, but the only way to get the look I wanted). Features include functioning doors that slide in their tracks, a rotating beacon on turntable, and various internal details to include a workbench, tools, jack, ladder, storage shelves, oil barrels, a loft area in the back, and a windsock on the roof. The floor of the hangar is raised to connect with the taxiway segments and the ground tracks for the sliding doors. The biplane is from set 60103.
  18. Good looking collection you've built. The camo scheme is unified, along with the canvas. Nice attention to detail as well.
  19. That's a massive crane. Quite the details too. I'd love to see the motorization in action.
  20. Gorgeous station. You nailed the Futuron scheme and feel perfectly, yet built a large setup that is quite impressive.
  21. Well done. The helmet is ingenious. You captured Zuckuss' look for the torso and head, but I see you had some fun with the lower body. The jetpack thruster smoke is wicked!
  22. Solid locomotive. Can't say the same for the track. Good work on the valve gear. NPU with the beanie cap on the steam cylinders. Lots of details all around.
  23. This is a great micro scale representation of the Rocket. The work on the figures is impressive too. Love their headwear.
  24. WOW! Your coal shunter not only look great, but it can run on R40. You could always try coupling it like the real one? Maybe use the chains and a crowbar or something?
  25. Gorgeous build. Your AH-64E looks great. Lots of details all over. Keep up the good work.
