Thats very nice sheepo! sucks i dont have the small turntable. Wouldnt mind sacrificing a worm gear to make the narrow version. Imho the best way to make a small lsd i've seen so far. -

Sick.. you gave it quite the beating! -
@DrJB You have made your point well and clear. Still I salute Boxerlego for his sheer effort. But hiding behind known theories in order to dissaprove someones creative process,.. meh. He doesnt deserve to be ridiculed like this. Btw, the reason i posted the link,. I thought it would fit this topic and might be of interest to atleast Boxerlego. For that matter i dont always need to have an opinion, but lets say keeping an open mind works both ways.

The breakthrough for Tewari, a former director of the Kaiga Atomic Power Station, came last year when his machine achieved an efficiency of 238%, which means it produced 2.38 times the electrical power provided to it initially, making it the first to achieve this. This essentially defies the Law of Conservation of Energy - and in the case of electrical generators, Lenz's Law, which forms the basis of mechanics and thermodynamics laws that suggests machines cannot attain over a 100% efficiency. KPCL has deputed a team of engineers to evaluate the machine. "We have reviewed the product. The evaluations and analysis have been submitted to the managing director for the final approval (to use in the Kappatagudda windmill project)," one of the KPCL engineers said, requesting anonymity. The generator requires an initial infusion of power through a battery or AC supply, following which it produces power sustaining itself on electrons in a vacuum, without requiring external supply. "Space is the only reality, and has the potential to produce massive amounts of power if put through right technology," said Tewari, who has applied for an international patent for his device in the US.

Thats a pretty awesome machine! I like it being a big beefy sporty type 6x6. -
His presentation is nice, and showcasing the models in 'non matching colors' imo might make it more attractive for some builders who could feel more related to the fact they dont have matching colors but the right parts. For someone else who can make it with matching colors it might be attractive to do so to 'make it look better'. But thats debatable. The high prices are well countered by a good price for the instructions. And as also became clear in the topic about people selling moc's (designed by others) making a good profit selling a moc or set so to speak is arguable, taking into acount getting all the parts and building it. And since these are his own design's... he can ask whatever he wants. I am not falling for it though. It could be this person has thought well on how to make money out of lego and made some good observations beforehand.

You are right about the sun, or like i said it, the solar system. Everything seems to have an expiration date for that matter, or even better said a lifecycle. I will defenitely not go against your statements. But apart from the laws we have erected by applying our perception and interpretation from a scientific standpoint i do believe we havent at all reached our limits when it comes to harnessing any sort of energy for that matter. (for that matter we are limited by being, well human) Which brings me back to the matter of pretty much everything consisting of wavelengths and frequencies. I will not go against what is proven, no we cannot create energy out of thin air. Money, perhaps. ;) And no the solar system in itself couldnt be considered a perpetium mobile, but, and yes scale is relative, for as long we know, every ending lifecycle has a successing one, one way or the other. For that matter i myself have always been intrigued by the mandelbrot sequence, fibonaci sequence and fractals in general. Also how it can be applied to alot things taking place in nature. For me this tells alot about this very nature and how energy and matter are forever in a state of continual transition. We tend to think within confinements of our expiration date so to speak. Maybe the perpetium mobile doesnt exist, but we can harness wind, solar, & tidal energy. Energy that is there, but has to be tranformed into a form thats of use for us,.. So maybe we are looking in the wrong direction for that matter.. Maybe the question isnt how to "create'' energy, but how to transform it. Which makes gravity and electro magnitism very interesting subjects. Even though it seems 'amusing' that in this 'modern' age people are still drawn to creating some sort of zeropoint energy device i think its something to envy in people.
