Retail Store Displays.......designs to fill your store MOC's
TWO2SEVEN replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Looking forward to your future builds! -
I was actually a little surprised at how well I put them away too :) Thank you! I entered them in to my Brickfolio over at brickpicker.com and came up with a little over $1000. I've only rebuilt the Fire Station so far. It was a nice memory. :)

Thank you!

I really like the unique base plates that came with these. I think I may start rebuilding the fort tonight :)

This set was released in 1994. I recently rebuilt it to make sure it was complete before I store it away for my son. I remember thinking this thing was huge when I was little. It looks a little small next to the Grand Emporium on my desk. :)

Finally got some sorting done this week. :) It has been really cool to go back through the sets that I forgot I had. The old catalogs are really fun to look through as well.

I recently went to my parents house and got all of my old Lego sets. I had the foresight to organize very well before I stopped collecting. These sets are all from the late 80s and early 90s. Most of them are complete with instructions and boxes. There are also a bunch of old Lego Magazines in an envelope. I will be building them to check for completeness/reminisce as time allows. Since I don't have a lot of display room right now they will be re packed and saved for my son (he is only six months old now :)). Here is most of what was listed just going by the boxes and instructions. Doing some sorting of the large tubs I have found some other complete sets as well. Most of them are complete with instructions and boxes. There are also a bunch of old Lego Magazines in an envelope. Many of the sets are Wild West, as that is the last theme I collected before going in to my dark age :) I will be doing some building as time permits. Lego 10211 Grand Emporium - New Build & Review
TWO2SEVEN replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Town
This was my first modular build after coming back to Lego after 20 years. I was very impressed with the updated building techniques and exterior appearance. As others have said, the interior is somewhat lacking. I was pleasantly surprised when I built the Pet Shop (my second modular) this weekend that the interior was a bit more detailed. They look great next to each other. -
Looks really good. I hadn't seen the gray town before, so I checked out your Flickr link. I really like the look of the gray town. Very artistic looking and very well done!

Very nice! Looking forward to seeing the interior.

The new back door you added looks much better and more realistic. Good work!

Well done! I really like mini figure scale, but these smaller buildings are really tempting to get started on. :)

Lego 10185 Green Grocer--New Build & Review
TWO2SEVEN replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Town
Looks really good! -
I love the details on this one. It may be my next modular purchase
-
I considered building my apartment and maybe making a few copies of it. One thing I have learned from building the Petshop townhouse and the Creator Family House is that things need to be scaled down and simplified. As others have mentioned, if I used the proper scale for even my apartment it would be way too big to fit in to a Modular based city. I may try it soon in LDD and see what it would cost to put together.

Looks good!
