Great review! The GE was my first modular, I picked up the Pet Shop this weekend. I actually liked the build a little more than the GE, it was less repetitive in my opinion. I ended up adding some LED lighting to mine :)

Since I am just getting back in to Lego I do not have enough random bricks and parts to just sit down and build. I have really been enjoying playing around with LDD. I used it to help me make a clone of the SDCC Batmobile.

I recently pieced together a replica of the SDCC Batmobile using Bricklink. I ended up with 8 different orders. Since then I have learned how to look for which stores have the most of whatever I am looking for. The shipping costs are more worth while if you can get a large chunk of parts from one store. If you haven't yet, spend some time building a wanted list, that way you can see which stores have the majority of the parts that you are looking for. Also, I looked specifically for stores that had no minimum order. A few stores had one or two parts that I needed, totalling less than $1.00. If the store had a higher minimum order, I would have had to buy extra stuff that I didn't need.

Bought and sorted my first PAB cup last week. I think I did ok :) Total Elements: 39 Total Pieces: 1384 Seems like a pretty good return for $15.99. Now I will just have to see if any of it sells on Bricklink.

Hello everyone, My name is Nick and I am in Dallas, Texas. I started collecting Lego in the late 80s. I collected until the mid 90s and then things like high school, college, and life got in the way. My wife and I had our first child, a boy, in February. The chance to share Lego with him. Has re-ignited my love of Lego. I recently went to my parents house and picked up my childhood collection. I have also started to collect and build newer sets. My goal is to build a city with my son and he gets older. I see some Duplo in his (near) future. :)
