  1. Some more Photoshop work! Desert Patrol by Henry Alekna, on Flickr Edit: scroll down to post #9 for a new one!
  2. A new MOC up! Well, sort of, more Photoshop to be precise!
  3. Just a though, it would be helpful for new members if the Which forum does my MOC/topic belong in? thread was pinned, as quite a few people are still asking about where to post certain things, such as recently created Minecraft forum topic, instead of creating a new topic for them.
  4. Yes, I am also pretty sure that it belongs in special them, though ti could almost fit into licensed. This is a better place to ask for future reference- Which forum does my MOC/topic belong in?
  5. Nice. I think it needs to be taller and more ornate for a true modular though.
  6. Absolutely amazing! There are so many great details here. This inspired me to stop sorting and start building again, so thats a bonus as well!
  7. Great to see it finally posted! I will definitely bring a few modules for next years show! Send me a PM when you are organising the modules for next time.
  8. Ata guess, it would be for people to attach other castles to, such as this one- http://brickset.com/sets/6080-1/King-s-Castle.
  9. Very clever parts usage!
  10. Nice one. I think it would look better with a 3/4 view as the main photo though.
  11. Oh yes, that would be impossible to do in LDD! I had forgotten about that.
  12. Much better! Some sand green 1 x 2 masonry profile bricks would work really well if you added a few into the sand green part of the building.
  13. The interior on these is particularly good. I think some more texturing on the upper stories walls would really improve them though. At the moment they look a bit flat. Overall, good job.
  14. Yes, that more or less what I meant. I think the 1 x 4 plate above the brown arch would also look better in brown. Some 1 x 1 round plates built into the walls for extra detailing and texture rather than having the entire thing rather flat, would look great as well.
  15. The brown window I think. Actually, as well as the brown window, if you lowered the windows by one plate and then made the window frames black, that would allow you to have the strip uninterrupted by the wind frame.
  16. Yes, its happened to me a lot, though particularly with the older parts. I believe the newer versions of that part are a bit stronger.
  17. I think the technique I used here ( https://www.flickr.c...eposted-public/ ) would work well if placed far enough back in a forced perspective.
  18. Great job! Its always a nice change to see a historic building made rather than more fantasy ones. This would work perfectly as either, I could easily imagine some medieval soldiers guarding it! The base is an excellent choice as well. By the way, there are quite a few blank lines, if you were to remove them it would make the topic easier to read.
  19. Great job. It would be nice to have a photo that wasn't cropped so far so we could see the entire model though. Have you considered joining Guilds of Historica? Your character sounds like it would be a perfect fit!
  20. Nice one, there is some really great detailing and parts usage here.
  21. Looks great. I think some more detailing in the sky would really improve it through.
  22. Welcome to EB! Interesting idea. A palm tree or other detail added to the number plate would make it more interesting for a prospective buyer. This is from the site guidelines: "If you have a great MOC, that is also a LEGO Ideas project, you may present it on EB as you would any MOC, with a single link to the Ideas entry. Make the title about the MOC, not the Ideas business; don't be too shouty, and it is likely to be tolerated. You need to be thinking: 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on LEGO Ideas', rather than: 'I want Ideas support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote!." I think the above policy applies for what you have posted. I hope that helps!
  23. I am getting the same error, so I can't be of any help, sorry. You could try sending a PM to the member who posted the attachment, asking if they could send you a new copy.
  24. Using some inverted bracket pieces, such as these with plates attached to them, will allow for more detailing and more space in side the carriage.
