  1. I didn't realise there was a silver lining! Jokes aside, those mini figures and even some of monster themed sets have some good parts. When the theme is finishing up and sets are on remainder, I intend to get a few and to even keep the trans orange parts for SHIPtember! Catapult? Possible, I suppose, though there would have to be a very clever solution for bringing the pilot safety back to land.
  2. Nice one. Though, one thing with the presentation, you need to be more careful at what angle you hold your camera, some of them aren't straight.
  3. The cliff is looking excellent! Perhaps, adding some cutouts in the grey wall at the back would allow for some storytelling elements to be added there as well, perhaps even a micro scale version of the entire diorama could be added inside a cut out! Perhaps a little ambitious though...
  4. Think of it this way, many of the builders don't need to create instructions for the models, and if they do so with the intention of selling them, consider how much time and effort it would take to create the instructions. I think $10-$20 is a pretty fair price. If the prices are higher, have you tried sending them a PM and asking for a discount?
  5. Perhaps a stack of 1 x 1 round plates would work if Vorkosigan's techniques doesn't work.
  6. Could you post a link to the topic where the attachment is not working?
  7. Great, I look forward to it! Be sure to post the finished display to EB!
  8. Wow, it looks great! There are some great techniques, colours and textures included as well. Are there any pictures of the entire Lego map of Poland?
  9. I agree with Mesabi about the 1 x 4 plates, though only if they were to be used in a staircase, not a machine of some description. The way -Zenn recommended works well, though any part with a similar width that can be stacked, such as 1 x 1 round bricks stacked on a 3L bar, (I hope 3L is correct, anyway, the bar that fits in a mini figures hand, you know what I mean).
  10. Wouldn't we all? Well, we could start a new version of GoH set in the future... "Guilds of Modernorica"!
  11. Nice one. Great use of that part for the beard.
  12. I absolutely agree. The fact that there wasn't a large reaction to it was simply because those techniques had become stock standard on MOCs. They did have some handy parts for those techniques in them as well.
  13. There are various companies that offer custom mini figure printing, I haven't made a purchase from any of them so I can't recommend a specific one unfortunately. Just Google "Custom Printed Minifigures" and the places that offer them should come up. I hope this helps. Oh and by the way, taking the time to add proper punctuation and capital letters is a must for Eurobricks. No offence meant, I just thought it would save a moderator mentioning it later on.
  14. Hmm, looks like a sticker to me, though I can't be entirely certain.
  15. I have had no issues. Have you tried using a different computer / browser?
  16. . We will find out for better or worse soon enough! Also, thanks to whichever Moderator moved this topic.
  17. Impressive photography and effects!
  18. Looks really good, though I think the proportions would be greatly improved if you were to extend the stone part in the middle up another brick or two.
  19. Congratulations winners! They are well worthy of the prize!
  20. Generally when I am on a slow connection, it normally just goes to the background colour and then the rest of the page gradually appears. It may be different in different browsers though.
  21. Looks great! I would really like to see a complete overview of the build, as its easier to judge the scale that way. This topic is where you can ask for title adjustments: Topic title editing requests
  22. There goes all obstacles for my builds being set there!
