  1. I shudder slightly to imagine what the 4chan Bionicle board is doing right now...(I'm presuming they have one, never joined and don't intend to.) Of course, having said that, I'm probably their next random digital attack target.
  2. "I suggest that we examine the rest of the room, and take anything valuable with us while we clean out the rest of the manor." If it doesn't cost a round, Lind examines the contents of the room. If it does, he doesn't do anything.
  3. Hmm... Fantastic Four is probably out. The tiles have gotten bigger. Is that important, or not? Also, the color pallet has changed from gray, white, and black to grays, blue, and gold. If it was trans-yellow it would definitely be CS... The only theme that's had blue-gold as a color scheme was the Ninjago Lightning vehicles...possibly they're using gold as being more visible under a camera than trans-yellow would be?
  4. Not sure exactly what you'd count the Simpson's CMFs as then...
  5. I support this theory also.
  6. "Burn them, an' send their daemon souls back into the keeping of t' Nega-Blocktrix!" Seriously, though, beautiful job. What did you use to take the shots on top of, for that reflection? The only thing that has that texture that I could think of was possibly a trampoline. Always remember, every cent paid to a rival brand goes to the continuation of her evil schemes!
  7. We don't actually have a theme for it yet(e.g., what we are going to build). Feel free to contribute in the discussion!
  8. Lind targets the Broker, but only as a defensive maneuver, since he'll be dead long before Lind reaches him in the battle order.
  9. Glad to have you! The loosest definition? That's a hard one... Basically, if it sort of looks like a space-ship, or you can make a moderately good argument why it counts, it's allowed. Like I said with Leewan, a robot wouldn't count(if it's just standing there), but a robot that turns into a spaceship would count. Or, if the robot stays a robot, but is being flown through space by Matoran/Toa, that would count also. Say it's a space station - without boosters, it doesn't count, but it has boosters on the back that could theoretically propel it through space, it counts. Like I said - the interpretation is up to the builder. BIOctober is coming up fast! In about three days, after the "Big Reveal," we should start planning out what the theme for that is/rules. BioSHIPtember is supposed to be a bit more freebuild, BIOctober should be a bit more structured. Here's the link to the BIOctober group. And the link to the BIOctober 2014 theme discussion.
  10. Fully understood. I think I'll PM Mr. De Quatre, and ask him if he has any issues with my using that thread I started a while back - not for hosting anything, just for talk/speculation/planning/conceptualization. Behemoth: If you can't find enough people rooting for a whole separate section, Sparoica* definitely could have one or more post-apoc planets. It might not have quite the focus on MOCing that GoH does, but Heroica-style always needs good MOCs for pictures. *HeroSpace? I really need a better name for this...
  11. I'm really not trying to be argumentative here, as I've always found the Eurobricks Staff to be extremely skilled at what they do. I'm just wondering, what are the rules if someone creates something*, and the community is all for it, but the moderator/staff has their own project? Does the moderator's project supersede the member's? Again, I'm really don't want to cause problems, I'm just curious as to what the rules are. (*This is more of a general question, not really about my project, seeing as how so far my effort has been "speculate on how much of the Heroica rules would be changed for Science Fiction." I'm just trying to get a sense of the rules, since I wasn't around for when Heroica, SoNE, or GoH started.) Edit: I released post-posting, that my original phrasing was unintentionally tending towards being inflammatory. My apologies.
  12. Actually, I and one or two other people who like my idea are the only ones really supporting a Sci-Fi Heroica. Bob de Quatre's project is supposed to be in the SoNE style. I like that idea, Jakon. I can see why it might not work as well with Historica, but it would certainly fit right in with Guilds.
  13. I was saying that the leg injury doesn't prevent Blaze from walking (while using a brace), or at least standing up on his own. Whereas Cyrus is completely disabled. Although I'll sound a little heartless for saying this, I kind of hope that they don't write in Cyrus curing himself. That would be kind of mean to kids who have leg disabilities, since cures like that don't really exist at the moment.
  14. No more interesting than when we were kids. But, then again, those were good days, back before we knew how ridiculous the creations we built were, back when we could play with LEGO as if it was LEGO and not some delicate thing we were afraid of scratching*. *And as I write this, I realize just how much I should probably get back to playing with LEGO as if it were LEGO. But then again, I really would hate to run the risk of scratching bricks...Round and round, my friends, round and round.
  15. It looks beautiful! Well done! My only suggestion is that you take another picture to replace 8#. When I saw the position that Sam and Gandalf were in, with the expressions on Frodo's and Sam's faces...it didn't create quite the image you want it to...Unless you did, but I kind of doubt that...
  16. Did they actually ever say "you're the only four(five if you count Nya, or three if you don't count either her or Zane) minifigures with elemental powers?" Because all I remember, was Wu saying "You have the fire inside of you." True, but he still can walk around fine, in all media appearances. Cyrus is the first minifigure to be fully disabled in his legs. And I think it's kind of cool the way they did it. He doesn't let it get in the way of his work, and he doesn't comment on it all of the time, like a lot of fictional characters are written as doing. He just deals with it like he was a real person. I was impressed.
  17. ^Agreed. I actually had my own suggestion for a sub-forum a while back, a Space Sci-Fi in the style of Heroica. The idea didn't exactly fly off the charts with applause, but that's okay, I haven't given up on finishing it someday. Edit: Check with Bob de Quatre and Simon ? before you make a topic, like Brickdocter said. Sure, it won't have a huge following at first. But, that's where you prove the value of your idea. Make the best with what you can, and someday you'll be given more to take care of.
  18. I'm not sure where I stand on the inclusion of the new shark mold. It's more accurate, I'll give it that, but it's already been in a $5 set - easy to collect multiples of. And I need a spare 2009 shark for a building project...
  19. Boo...I was hoping for a big Classic Space announcement. It was kind of pre-determined to be Bionicle, but still, after their using the exact same hint for the Exo-Suit... No particular feelings one way or another, but always nice to have parts in new colors*! (*Come on LEGO, surely you can find an excuse for a Dark Blue Grey popsicle...)
  20. ("Tries hard to not make a joke about how a Ventress tunic torn in the right places would also add to the fan-service.")
  21. In regards to #113, could a rogue sign up and not mention he's a rogue? Also, in regards to #114, how high leveled is ¨experienced¨ to be understood as?
  22. It has all six spaceman colors. Just like the Exo-Suit trailer. Yep, it has something to do with Classic Space. to save everyone the search.
  23. Exactly. I forget if I'd seen that picture when I'd posted that or not... Either way, though, seeing as how they are not entirely unlike(as in they both wear hoods, something that is surprisingly rare among LEGO villains), I'm probably going to use AntiMatter for my display until we get a more matching fig. Kranx doesn't exactly fit the profile of "one of the three most dangerous criminals in the galaxy". Of course, neither does Squidman...unless you remember that Squidman's android SquidTron is far more capable a villain. Of course, SquidTron wasn't in sets back then, but if the shoe fits better and there's no way to identify the foot...
  24. Separate, but there are no conflicts between them. And, in the absence of conflict there is nothing that suggests that they can't exist together. Actually, the Space timeline has never been fully determined. Classic Space may be in the future, around 2076(as based on a printed wallpiece), or it happened as it was released on the planet Zonia. Also, Monster Fighters are not part of the Clutch Powers canon. That was a different comic, and isn't linked unless LEGO ties it, Galaxy Squad, or Ultra Agents into another part of the chain. I'm directly quoting references to official media that all tie themes together directly... It may not be the singular canon, but it's definitely a main canon. And just because LEGO doesn't officially operate off of an official main canon, doesn't mean that one can't easily be assembled. No argument. There are multiple canons in the LEGO Universe. I would like to point out, though, that from spoilers, How about we all agree that multiple canons can be formed using media, some incorporating more themes than others, and return to talking about Ultra Agents in 2015?
