Knights start out with a shield, and Anwyl Smokebeard sells a WP:5 shield. Other than buying them from other players/a vendor on a quest, drops are the only way to acquire them. Keep in mind, though, only a small number of classes can equip them.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lind Whisperer replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Hospitals, schools and post offices are more City than modular. The Modular line is based more around what we won't see released as a City set. On a side note, a disco club can be seen in the Go-Mini-Man-Go video, that appears to be in a modular. Never released as a set, although I have been looking into how it might be recreated in real life. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Lind Whisperer replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
People need a lot of them for Bricklinking a UCS Millenium Falcon. -
^Why do I have a feeling the game mechanics will be featuring a really, really fast respawn rate, with a x2 modifier.

Count Lind in on that party.

I could see a Bionicle style game, but I think if LEGO really wanted to actually make some profits, they'd bring back LEGO Universe and let a company that actually has experience handling MMOGs run it for them. Of course, the moderation would obviously not be as tremendous as LU advertised having...but to be honest, as a normal player, you never actually saw any of the much toted moderation. Not to be annoying, but it just wasn't there. EA, much as people seem to hate them, has done an incredible job balancing F2P with P2P in SW:tOR. I really think that they could do the same with LU. And as to whether or not they'd be interested in such a "niche game," Rayhawk himself said that LU was having legendary numbers of players. The market's there, it just needs someone to handle it. Of course, LEGO doesn't seem very interested in bringing back LU, looking over their response post-game. Ah, well - maybe someday when the majority of LUer's are AFOLs, not just the minority, maybe then we all can make our voices be heard a little bit better.

Heroica RPG- Quest #103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again!

Older grey does appear in the movie, but from the lighting reflection I'd be almost willing to bet that that's supposed to be Light Blue Grey. Older grey does not have that slightly bluish tinge to it, which is somewhat visible in the provided screenshot(Look at the front of the ship, and other places where the light is not directly reflecting off of.).

Beautiful! It has a distinct LU feeling to it, very Classic Rocket-ish

It's not my quest, but I'm just curious. What happens if you have two assassinations in a row? Does that mean the Pongcanis will have will have 1/4 of his health(half divided by a half) or will he be K'Od(two half-health assasinations)?

The Town Hall is going out of sale first.

True, but I'm trying to play this like I do with other games(namely, SW:tOR). Make a basic idea, with one or two unique traits, and stick with it. I'm leaving room open for changes, but I'm also having a bit of fun role-playing a unique character. It is, after all, Heroica: The Role-Playing Game.

Ironically, I've actually been working on a possible Ideas submission, of a sort of "finale" Throwbots set. Not sure if there's really enough of a fan crowd for Throwbots for it to have even a tiny chance... I'm actually a bit proud of how I circumnavigated the "No New Parts Rule," seeing as how it's almost certain that the throwing arm mold has been thrown out. Brick-built bows that shoot 2x4 bricks. Of course, that kind of negates the whole "Throw" part of their name...I've hand-waved it as technology has been shoved back because of the whole meteorite thing...

Agreed.

A while ago...The only player I recognize on it is Nyx. The mustached knight(?) with the great-sword and the orc with club seem familiar, but I can't place them...

I've been trying to figure out if I should try and have Lind train for Dragoon. I'll have Good reputation with the Shadeaux after I complete 103#, meaning that if I can get in another Shadeaux quest before I hit 30, I won't have to worry at all about even the 1/4 disobedience modifier. Of course, Dragoons can't carry throwing weapons...but neither can Alchemists, my second choice(although if they can use "cutting" weapons, I think ...although that is more piercing rather cutting...). Alchemists have Chrysopoeia, which would really help my dream of the perfect weapon, but, Dragoons have dragons, and I have an idea or two I'd really like to RP...Decisions, decisions.
-
How often does the Guild of Invasion offer quests? I've been watching Guts and his chrysopoeia - a few good rolls, a large inventory, and suddenly the numbers don't seem as impossible...

That's why I keep refusing to consider using anything besides the Ethereal Decks, except in an emergency. Focus on one item(or on two), and keep improving it. Not to mention, I like how it keeps Lind simultaneously stereotyped as a rogue, but unique.
-
Don't forget, I owe you 50 gold when 103# is over. Although that's obviously nowhere near the amount you'd need...
-
Ouch. I forgot about those... Yeah, in my long and expensive plan, I am hoping to someday have the decks not only have a ridiculously high WP, but also be Adamantiumized, jewel-encrusted and imbued with Effects. Essentially the most powerful weapons imaginable... And the numbers keep stacking up...
-
It depends on how long you're going to keep using either the Scissors or the Shield. But I'd definitely try and get back to Vega.
-
Well, that's good, but at 50:WP costing around 12,750 gold for both decks, give or take...Oi. This is going to take a lot of work.
-
A few thousand gold of upgrades on my Ethereal Decks, and I'll be beating it*. Is there an upper limit to how many times you can upgrade WP, other than the astronomical gold cost? *I should really run the math as to how much it's going to cost to get the decks up to 50:WP each, assuming no upper limit...That Linnaeus method... 50(500) + 1(10) = 510 510 x 25 = 12,750 gold. Yeah, even assuming problems with the math, and subtracting that they're at 5:WP and 3:WP already...yeah, that's going to take a bit.
-
That's for shields, though. I was trying to figure out a way to add armor to the Mugger's Mask. I really like the gold-prevention abilities when used with Sticky Gloves, but it doesn't have any armor.
